What to expect during Gentle At-Home Euthanasia
1. Unrushed Discussion
The gentle euthanasia process will be clearly explained and your questions will be answered. When your Vet arrives, attending to your pet’s welfare takes immediate priority.
2. Pre-Sedation - Drifting into Calm Sleep
Our Caring Home Visit Vet will come to your home at a time convenient to you. When you are ready, your Vet will administer a gentle sedative in such a way that your pet will barely notice. This is not a painful or distressing process, your pet simply drifts into a peaceful sleep.
3. Pass Away Gently and Peacefully
The next stage of the tried and tested process involves giving your pet an anaesthetic agent that causes their heart to slow and then gently stop. They pass away peacefully. This process is very gentle, humane and generally a calmer and more tranquil one than can be delivered at a clinic.
4. Aftercare
It is entirely your decision what happens next. If you know that you want a cremation you can arrange this with our Care Coordinators. However you can also discuss this with your Vet whilst they are at your home and they can help you make all the arrangements.
All our Vets are, of course, members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and work in conjunction with your local veterinary surgery to give you extra peace of mind.

Thank you to Debbie, Darlene, and most importantly Alex the vet for making our last moments with our beloved dog so much easier. After our original vet fell unwell, Darlene went above and beyond to make sure we found another vet to come out and everything was sorted within an hour of the issue. Alex was brilliant, he was so calm, explained what to expect so clearly, and allowed us the time and space we needed to say goodbye as our little best friend drifted off without a care in the world. Never a review you ever want to leave but our girl mitzee sadly left our family on Sunday from the phone call to the vet to the cremation company 5 star's isn't enough our wee family is absolutely devastated at the loss of our princess mitzee 😭💔 but this company is the most compassionate people and thanks again from the bottom of our hearts xx

We had to make 'that' call for our beloved Weimerana Darwin whom we had adored for 14 and a half years. We are so glad we called Cloud 9. The vet Anne was uber professional but also uber compassionate. She made the whole thing almost bearable.Quite something when my son and me were in bits. Then Neil who took our darling boy away was so caring and treated Darwin as if he was his own. Both Anne and Neil explained everything that was happening and was going to happen in great detail which was a huge help. Cannot recommend this service enough.

We had to take the sad decision to have our beloved cat, Jazz, put to sleep. Cloud 9 arranged a same day appointment so she didn't have to suffer. David, the vet who attended, was kind and understanding. He explained the whole process thoroughly and was very gentle with Jazz. We said goodbye to our little Tinkerbell yesterday with the help of cloud 9. We didn’t know that at home euthanasia was even an option but so glad it is. We held our 14 year old girl in our arms in the garden with the sun on her face as she calmly was put to sleep. If I could of wished for a way for her to go, this was it, at home surrounded by all her favourite things.I’m amazed at how caring the vet that came was, she was so softly spoken and patient and was just quietly supporting us throughout. She then walked to the side during so we could hold tink and grieve as a family. I wish I could remember her name. She talked us through the whole process so we knew our girl could still hear us as we told her what a good girl she had been all these years.Under an hour later Phoenix crematorium came to collect her. The man who came explained he was in absolutely no rush and to take our time to say our goodbyes. He then allowed us to carry her out in her bed and blankets with her stuffed animal to keep her company. He then explained that there is no rush with making decisions, someone will be in touch the next day to give us time to decompress.Everyone involved clearly loves animals and understand that this is the hardest day saying goodbye to the little member of your family. I can’t imagine how hard it is to do this job everyday, being around that much sadness. But I’m so glad they do as it allows everyone else to say goodbye on their terms.Thank you. Thank you. I shall be forever grateful to cloud 9 vets and in particular Vanessa who came to our home to put our gorgeous Archie to rest. She was calm, kind and advised us throughout the process of what to expect. She was so gentle with Archie and kept telling him what a good boy he was. I cannot thank Cloud 9 enough. My own veterinary practice didn’t have the capacity to visit the home, and this has always been important to me as a pet owner of many decades. My cat Millie was eighteen, but developed a multitude of problems and deteriorated rapidly in the last couple of weeks of her life. Whilst this horrible decision is thrust upon you, you know that you have to do what is best for your friend.
I rang Cloud 9 on a Sunday and spoke to Ellie. Ellie’s understanding of the situation and kindness made the awful conversation bearable. Ellie rang back and we were assigned a vet named Robert. Robert visited our home the next evening. From the call to let us know he was outside to the following (nearly an) hour, his compassion was constant. Everything was explained and delivered with empathy. Millie’s passing, on my lap, was calm and dignified. It was lovely to see the pain lift from her face, even through my tears. My husband commented on Robert’s skills also in distraction. I honestly couldn’t have found a more professional and kinder vet.

The service that Cloud 9 Vets provide is nothing short of amazing. They take a massive weight off of what is already a devastating time for pet parents, and provide a personal approach filled with genuine care and compassion for you and your pet. Charis the vet took wonderful care of my Minsi, and Alastair from the cremation services made sure my girl was wrapped up cosy and peacefully. The thoughtfulness that goes into the whole process makes the ordeal significantly less distressing at a time where it feels like your world is collapsing. Alex looked after us in Frankie's final moments. He explained what was going to happen every step. He showed compassion and support for all of us. He showed great respect for Frankie in his final moments. We are all so pleased we decided Frankies last moments should be at home. Cloud 9 also arranged his cremation for us. myself and my daughter had to use cloud 9 six weeks ago to say goodbye to our boy Rolo; fast forward 6 weeks and we had to call them again for our girl Roo who had sadly given up after loosing her lifelong friend Rolo. my daughter made the call, we was greeted by such a wonderful vet Amelia who showed compassion, empathy, sympathy and generally cared. The vet that came, Nick, couldn't have been kinder or more gentle and empathic. There was no sense of rush at all and he explained everything he was going to do.
It was a gentle, painless, stress-free death for our beloved Burmese, Otto, in his own place with his people loving him.

Our darling Beau was sadly put to sleep on Monday evening after a short but tough cancer diagnosis. The experience although heartbreaking was made very peaceful for my family by Vanessa. She was amazing from the moment she walked in to the moment she walked out, talking to both us and Beau throughout the process and taking the time to explain to us what she was doing. We will miss you beyond words Beau but take comfort in knowing in his final moments Vanessa did all that she could to make him comfortable.

We lost Arthur this morning after an advanced liver disease illness. Our vets recommended Cloud 9 for home euthanasia. We wanted it to be done at home so Arthur was as comfortable as possible surrounded by his family. John came to put Arthur to sleep and Neil came shortly after to collect Arthur and take him to Springfield farm. Both were so caring and compassionate and the service we received was beyond any of our expectations. We are waiting for Arthur's ashes and have ordered paw and nose prints. Would highly recommend, and although totally broken-hearted 💔 Cloud 9 and Springfield Farm have made a terribly difficult time a lot easier❤️

Jennifer from Cloud 9 and our attending vet Alicja were both fantastic in a very difficult situation. Jennifer pulled out all the stops to get us an appointment in the narrow timeframe we had and was so so compassionate while I cried on the phone. Yesterday I had to say the hardest goodbye to my beautiful boy Rolo who was 13 and suffering from cancer. I was recommend by a friend to use cloud 9 as Rolo never liked the car and I have another dog who has never been left alone without Rolo. I was greeted by a wonderful vet called Martha, she showed compassion, she was understanding and went at our pace rather then rush. She also made a huge fuss of Roo! From Vicky the call handler, to Andrea the vet and Neil who took our beautiful Jewell, you made her last moments peaceful and calm which I am extremely grateful for. Jewell has been part of our family for over 18 years and the decision to put her to sleep wasn’t taken lightly, however her quality of life and health was rapidly declining. I know the importance of reviews, especially when it comes down to our beloved pets. Both myself and my husband can’t recommend Cloud 9 enough. Our old girl Sadie unfortunately was put to sleep earlier this week. We wanted to make it as comfortable for her as possible, with less stress of getting her into the car and to the vets.
My husband called at 6pm asking if it was too late to book Sadie in the following day, the lady he spoke to on the phone could hear how distressed Sadie was in the background and did everything she could to get a vet out to her that night.
We got a call back no longer than 15 mins later, a vet was able to get to us for 8.30pm that same evening. The vet that came out (I think his name was John, sorry if I’m mistaken, it was all a bit of a blur emotionally) was so good. He explained everything to us, chatted to us to calm us which on reflection made things much easier for Sadie because she very easily picked up on our emotions. He was so caring and compassionate towards Sadie we felt completely at ease.
We opted for a scatter tube and personal cremation for Sadie, and she was brought back home to us yesterday (Thursday) after being put to sleep on Tuesday evening.

The whole experience from start to finish was compassionate and done with the upmost respect of all involved at a very sad and difficult time we know we go through when losing your furry loved one. From the lady on the phone who organised it all and then when our dog passed away on her own about 3 hours before she was due to be put to sleep forever. I called them to say we didn’t need the vet anymore. They collected her and then sent her ashes to us with a lovely paw print and beautiful card and candle with the loveliest words in. I would use them again and again. Thank you 😊 I would like to add this was back in 2021 In August for our beautiful Jess, Labrador who was 14 years old. I realised I had not left a review at that sad time.

What an amazing service offered by the most caring people.

Cannot recommend highly enough. They were there at short notice & gave us exactly what we wished for. Not the cheapest but no vets are! For your loved pet to go at home is how it should be. Thank you to the lovely vet we had 'Sarah' heart broken now but we are taking comfort from using Cloud 9.

From making the decision to let Poppy go, Lara gave me the information I needed and subsequently made the booking via text message as I couldn’t talk without crying. The only phone conversation was to pay, and she was kind and empathic as I cried through it.
Jack the vet was so calm and kind. He came exactly on time (important when you are clock watching). He explained what would happen but did it in our time with kindness and compassion. Poppy left us calmly, gently and peacefully. He then left us to have some time before the crematorium came to collect her.
The process from start to finish was brilliant, even if my heart was broken. Thank you 💔

We suddenly had to help our lovely old cat, Darwin, over the rainbow bridge on Saturday and we didn’t want to take him to the vets which he would have found very stressful.
Despite it being Easter weekend, we found @Cloud9 Vets (covering many areas) who arranged for a Vet to come the same day and they found @Scrappy’s Pet Crematorium (based in Benton) who arranged collection and cremation the next morning. Scrappy’s is named after their own family dog. I cannot recommend either of these services highly enough - they were both so kind and compassionate and treated the whole process with dignity and respect. The way they helped Darwin made a very sad process more bearable knowing that they had his best interests at heart.

This is a review you never want to have to leave, but I want to help other pet owners with this impossible time. My thanks and eternal gratitude to Becky, who attended on Sunday at noon to me and my beloved cat Skye in Edinburgh.Becky was the last in a line of friends and professionals to ensure my beautiful girl had a peaceful and settled death. She was calm, empathic, gentle, and endlessly kind and understanding. She was patient and open about the procedure. Becky ensured that Skye and I had all the time we needed and that she didn't know or feel a thing at the end. If my beloved girl had to die, I could not have asked for a better death.I am bereft and empty at her sudden absence after 12 years. Cloud9 Vets, covering Newcastle upon Tyne.We had to help our elderly cat, Darwin, over the rainbow bridge on Saturday during the Easter weekend. I rang Cloud9 as I was desperate to let him stay at home and they arranged for a vet to attend later the same day. Lahra was so kind and compassionate and gently helped Darwin (and us as we were distraught). Cloud9 also arranged for Scrappy’s Pet Crematorium, based in Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne, to come and collect Darwin for the final part of his journey. I cannot recommend both of these services highly enough - they treated us all with dignity and respect through the whole process.

Cloud 9 were lovely from the beginning. I sent an enquiry about a month before we put Toastie down, giving them an idea of her issues etc. I had a voicemail left telling me they would be able to help, what it would involve, costs etc. I then wasn't bothered again, which was lovely. When it came to Toastie going down hill I called them to book a date, they were very flexible. Toastie went down hill quicker than expecting so I had to call to bring our appointment forward which again wasn't an issue. David came out and was lovely, she went to sleep very peacefully. I would definitely recommend cloud 9. My boy was treated with the highest respect and love by a vet who truly cared. He was euthanised at home in a home surrounded by family and not in a surgery where he would have been stressed. Can’t thank and praise cloud 9 enough in the passing of our beloved Rocky.From the first point of contact they were very professional and caring.Rocky was surrounded by his family on his passing and went so peacefully.The ashes were returned to us after a couple of days.We miss him terribly after 15 years,but feel safe in the knowledge that he is now at peace.Once again thank you all at Cloud9,excellent service.

We sadly had to make the decision to say goodbye to our beautiful Lily. Zoi the vet was absolutely wonderful and although it was a difficult decision that was heartbreaking Zoi gave us great comfort. It’s honestly distressing enough thinking of having to let our little ones go without having to take them to the vet to do so. My vet doesn’t do house visits due to covid anymore so I was very glad when Beloved recommended Cloud 9 to me. I was glad they had a branch near to me. I contacted them and it was all so efficient and carefully handled. Our own local vets didn't offer to PTS at home so they recommended Cloud 9 to us as neither of our elderly dogs particularly liked being at the vets. It made the entire process a lot calmer and gentler for them both having Henry come to our home so we could say goodbye properly and take our time 💔🌈🐾 losing China & Harvey not even 4 months apart has been utterly heartbreaking but Henry reassured us that our decision was the right one and both of them greeted him when he arrived so trusted him! It's a tough job but Henry was very kind and gentle and explained what would happen before, during and after their euthanasia, taking things at our own pace and with their comfort and our emotions taking priority. I would recommend their services to anybody having to make the almost impossible decision to say goodbye to their furbaby 💔🐾🌈🙏

I contacted Cloud 9 when my beloved boxer Frankie went downhill very quickly. From the 1st contact with Vicki right through to John coming out on the Sunday morning you could tell they cared. I was so glad that Frankie was able to go to sleep in his own bed being cuddled and kissed and that my two other dogs Betty and Sherry got the chance to say goodbye. Would definitely recommend Cloud 9, our lovely labrador Bonnie was put to sleep in the comfort of her own home, with her family all around her.Henry the vet was kind and caring and talked us through what was going to happen, nothing was too much trouble for him, as Bonnie slipped away peacefully. Cloud 9 vets were amazing and very caring, I made the heartbreaking decision that our beloved labrador was suffering on New Year's Day, I rung Cloud 9 and was treated with such compassion and kindness. Easiest but hardest review to write, Cloud 9 were excellent from the moment I spoke with the receptionist to the leaving of the vet.
The receptionist was caring and understanding when speaking with her, the communication was clear and quick along with compassionate.
Modou our vet arrived promptly informing us he was here via phone so we could let him in when we were ready, a lovely thought to begin with. He was softly spoken and spoke from the heart with empathy and love, the way he spoke to Willow was just beautiful, we couldn't have asked for a nicer, calmer, understanding vet.
Modou explained everything step by step, we were with Willow every step of the way, it was calm and as perfect as it could be in the hardest of situations.
The horrible talk of cost, in my opinion the cost was acceptable, if I had gone to a vet I would not have had such a perfect send off, although I'm not sure of the cost elsewhere, cloud 9 were definitely affordable for what we chose.
All in all our 14 year old fell asleep with us by her side in her own home, it was calm, peaceful and beautiful, forever in our hearts, Willow Fern ❤️

Vet Anna came out today. She was very kind and gentle. Explained everything that would happen. So Smudge had a comfortable passing. She even closed the front door for me so I could sit with Smudge. I’m very grateful to her.

Paul came to the house and was amazing with our beautiful Labrador in his final moments. In a difficult time for our family, Paul explained everything clearly and made sure that we all had time with Dexter before he passed. I don't write many reviews, but the compassionate service I received from Cloud 9 Vets warranted one. I have never went through something as difficult as deciding it's time for my dog, Indie, to go to sleep. Whilst they can't help with the emotional pain, they certainly make the process easier. It really felt like they cared and Indie was in good hands. We had a lovely send off for her, and at that stage it's all you can ask for. Thank you, Cloud 9 Vets.

Everyone at Cloud 9 were absolutely wonderful when we needed to say goodbye to our girl, Titch. They are genuinely caring people who made sure we did the best we could for Titch. The ladies in the office, Kate and Darlene, were lovely to talk to and helped us so quickly. Sophie came out to us and she was both very professional and empathic. This is such a full service with the offer of aftercare if needed and they sent us a thoughtful card too. To be able to say goodbye to our girl in our home was so much better than having to move her to get her to the vets and it was a relief not to face the public of the vet waiting room during such a difficult time. We can’t thank Cloud 9 enough for the excellent service we received during the hardest decision we have ever had to make. The compassion shown from the first phone call made with Vicki to Henry the Vet coming out and helping make our beautiful boy’s goodbye the best we could, will never be forgotten. We feel the ending had to be so special and the best for our beloved Henry. To be able to choose the care and place (a sunny day in our garden) is the most beautiful way we could have said our goodbyes.

We just had our dog Lucky put to sleep this morning. She didn’t know a thing about it, it was all very serene at home. The vet was lovely and so was the man who came to take her away afterwards. I highly recommend this company and couldn’t imagine a better passing for our dog. Thank you

Thank you so much for making the euthanasia of my 5 year old cat Skye on the 9th September. Skye became unwell quickly & was being treated for chronic pancreatitis. However, at the time of her euthanasia was found to have a very large abdominal mass, not present on X-ray 6 weeks before this.I lost the most precious thing I owned but it was the most stress free experience I have had & would recommend it to all pet owners , if the choice is there. The Vet Sonia was fantastic. She was compassionate, caring & made the whole process straightforward. Skye had exactly the experience I wanted for her, as she gave out nothing but love and affection in her short life 💜🐱💜. A small tattoo on my right wrist, of her beautiful little face will keep her with me forever 💜🐱💜 . Thank you 🙏🏼

A wonderful service to offer to those of us who are going through this traumatic situation.
We had Filipe come today to put our beautiful Sandy to sleep. I didn't personally see him as I was outside with the other dogs but my Mum was nothing but happy with the way he treated them both.
The idea of having to take a poorly dog off to the vets to be put to sleep is one we'd rather avoid at all costs. To have this service available to us is a huge weight lifted.
Thank you, we have a lot of animals so will no doubt be in touch in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

On September 9th we had to make the very difficult decision to let our Husky dog Mia go on her final journey. We were relived that Mia was able to be with us at home. Our vet was called Henry and the kindness he showed Mia took some of the pain we had in our hearts. No rush talking quietly to Mia and explaining every stage to us. Our hearts although heavy with our loss were made to feel peaceful with how Henry was with Mia. A while later a lovely lady called Holly from Faithful Friends came to collect Mia again nothing was rushed. Holly like Henry treated Mia as if Mia was their own pet with kindness and love. We are so very greatful to both Henry and Holly for the compassion they showed us all. We have since received a lovely memory bag with Mia's ashes, a sample of her hair, a paw print and cards of condolence again this has helped us through the loss of Mia. Henry arrived from 40 miles away right on time. From the moment he walked in I knew he cared about my dog Elsa . Giving me time to sit with her until she was ready . A sedative first, the only time any vet has ever offered that . Never rushing until the time arrived. He let her pass so peacefully and gently on one of the hardest of days for me . In January we had to put our Rottweiler to sleep unexpectedly. I can’t remember the name of the vet who came to our house due to how upset we were, however what we do remember was her compassion and empathy whilst maintaining perfect professionalism.
She reassured us that in her experience, this was absolutely the correct decision to be making. She spent time to fuss sacha before actually going ahead which meant the world to us.
I will always remember her saying goodbye to us in the hallway after she had assisted sacha to the rainbow bridge - and I saw the smallest tear in her eye. Knowing that she felt so strongly about her work and sacha wasn’t just “another dog to put to sleep” is the reason I am so glad we made the decision to have a at home euthanasia, and extremely happy with the vet that assisted us. Thank you.

Sonia was amazing. Gentle, understanding and compassionate, she helped ease our minds of the difficult decision we had to make to put our beloved terrier of 14 years to sleep after examining him as he was suffering from terminal cancer. Last night we had to have our 19 year old cat pts. She's always been disabled, due to abuse as a kitten before she came to us, but more recently she was diagnosed with kidney disease. After 3 months of trying to help her with special food and. She's always been disabled, due to abuse as a kitten before she came to us, but more recently she was diagnosed with kidney disease. After 3 months of trying to help her with special food and keeping her clean we had to make the awful decision to let her go.I decided to go with Cloud 9 as vet trips have always been horrendously stressful for Gypsy. Booking an appt was easy and staff very understanding and helpful.Yesterday I was a total train wreck and not dealing with things at all. Then Nick turned up at 8pm, bang on time and put us at ease. We discussed Gypsy's condition and confirmed it was the right thing to do. Nick then explained exactly what was going to happen and really put us at ease. Nothing was rushed and we were able to take our time.We put our beautiful girl on my lap and the sedative was administered and a little later the final injection. Our baby slipped away very quickly with us stroking her and holding her paws. It was very peaceful.Nick asked if we had any questions and confirmed that we had totally done the right thing, at the right time.He then helped wrap her and put her in a carrier for us to transport her today for cremation.I would like to thank Nick for making everything more bearable and for giving our gorgeous girl dignity and a stress free final sleep in the familiar surroundings of her own home, with people that love her.I have had pets pts before but always at the vets where there's always stress, concern about the next person's appt and walking through a waiting room with everybody's sympathetic eyes on you, which is horrible. I would definitely recommend Cloud 9 and Nick and will use them again when the time comes.Thank you!

Sadly we had to make the decision to put our darling little girl pixie to sleep and we as a family knew we wanted her to pass away at home with us all with her where she was comfy and cuddled and from the very first phone call with Vicky to todays home visit with Ane I would highly recommend cloud 9 , you made the worse day that little bit better and explained talked us all through the process with empathy and such kindness and enabled us to have pixie right where she belonged when she fell asleep

Our beautiful Brooke crossed the rainbow bridge on Saturday 9th July.. she was 12… we knew the day was coming but we were certain we wanted Brooke to pass peacefully at home surrounded by her family .. Charis arrived and Brooke liked her immediately … she was compassionate and patient.. and gave us time to say goodbye … Brooke passed peacefully and quickly cuddled up in her bed with us cuddling her … Alex from The pet crematorium was also lovely .. reassuring us that he would look after Brooke like she was his own .. the whole team made an incredibly difficult and upsetting time more bearable and knowing Brooke was looked after throughout made us happy.. highly recommend ❤️

Thank you for the wonderful service we received when we said goodbye to Alfie on Monday. The vet, Nick, was kindness itself and everything was carried out with such patience and care. Alfie got the peaceful end he deserved at home on his own bed.

I cannot put into words how grateful we are to Andrea for his care and compassion towards not only our lovely Blue, but also to us. Andrea made sure we were fully aware of how the process would go, gave us the time and space we needed with our Blue and even allowed us to have the process done in our back garden, on a blanket surrounded by his favourite toys which meant he was calm and comfortable. It was the perfect setting for Blue and although it was never going to be easy, it was at least peaceful and he was happy in his final moments. Debbie answered our call at the saddest time and made everything so much easier. After making a very difficult decision on Sunday we called Cloud9 vets to have our very much loved Dinks put to sleep. From our first phone call they were understanding and supportive. A lovely vet called Sam came out and couldn’t have been kinder. He took us through each and every step and explained everything he was doing and what we could expect. On 14/05/22 I made a difficult phone call to Cloud 9 Vets to arrange for our beautiful and much loved cat, Milly, to be put to sleep aged 15. From the moment my call was answered I was dealt with in an empathetic and compassionate manner. Everything was explained to me and the costs involved. After discussing it with my husband we arranged the appointment for the following day, Sunday 15th May 2022.
The Vet, Sarah, was lovely and let us take our time until we were ready to let Milly go. We had asked that Milly be individually cremated and Sarah brought a pet bed in from her car while we said our final goodbyes and then I placed Milly gently in the bed before Sarah took her away. We have had Milly's ashes returned to us today from Leyland Pet Crematorium.
The Service provided by Cloud 9 is excellent and helps make a very stressful and upsetting time a little easier.

It was such a difficult & heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our lovely girl, Cassie. Ane came out to us this Sunday and gave our beloved boy Blue, the most gentle and caring send off we could have ever hoped for. Ane was a true Angel of mercy and was just so kind and lovely to Blue, myself and the whole family. In a time where my own vets let me down, didn't care for my girl and made me feel like my gorgeous girl didn't matter this amazing company stepped up. The staff at cloud 9 we're empathetic and so kind in helping me in this tough time. cloud9 provided a caring & compassionate service from start to finish. We were faced with the sad decision of having our beloved dog Merlin put to sleep & it was made a lot easier being able to do this at home.
Zoi was so lovely, she made us feel so relaxed & at ease. She talked us through the process & answered any of our questions. She was so gentle & kind throughout the whole time with us.

First class service from start to finish.Very reassuring and understanding when I placed the initial call. Andrea came out as arranged and was very compassionate and nothing was rushed. The crematorium at Leyland rang me when the ashes were ready and arranged delivery back to my home.Thank you for making a very sad time that bit more bearable. RIP Neo aged 18 and a half ❤️

to the wonderful vet, Damian, who was so calm and reassuring. He explained what to expect and interactively took us through every stage. He treated our darling boy with care and respect. It was so lovely to be able to have all the family, animals and humans, with our gorgeous Henry when he departed. Cloud9 then sent us a sympathy card a few days later - so thoughtful.

At this sad time you have to think about the day you put ur dog /cat to sleep is a very hard time and the staff put you at ease very good service we had the ashes back the next day in the middle of the pandemic I would definitely recommend this service to any of my family/friends

Last week I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let my baby girl Rara cross the rainbow bridge..I can not thank cloud 9 enough from the first phone call they were amazing the vet billy who came to my house was so caring and explained everything to us he let us have as much time as we needed and when it was time he showed my beautiful girl the care and dignity she deserved she fell in to her forever sleep with all her family there..The aftercare team that came to take Rara on her last journey we’re amazing to even let my baby take one of her favourite toys ..I can’t thank cloud 9 enough for making this very heartbreaking time a little easier there care and professionalism was outstanding thank you ❤️

Fantastic service start to finish, Professional and so understanding. The Vet Zoi who came out to help send our boy across the rainbow bridge was lovely, professional and made things a little less hard. They made one of the hardest things we have ever had to do straight forward and gave clear explanations aswell. After care as well is fantastic. Would recommend to anyone who is having to consider sending a loved pet to sleep. Thank you for all your help.

I would recommend Cloud 9 Vets to anyone who is faced with having to make this decision. I cannot fault them.I want to explain our experience for other people who may be considering this option for their pet. Everything is incredibly well explained on Cloud 9s website and their advisors on the phone are super helpful. I also know that hearing about people's experiences first hand is important when making such an massive decision about your pet. I am a registered veterinary nurse myself and my own personal experience of cloud 9 was exactly to the standard I was hoping for, for me personally. If anything it went better than I could have ever expected.We put to sleep our beloved 15 year old dog, Barney, on Tuesday night with the help of a wonderful, kind and caring vet named Charis. From the first phone call everything was handled with kindness and professionalism. Charis came out to the house, we had a chat about Barney and she explained the process. Barney was given a little injection in the back if his neck (just like they way he would be given a simple vaccine), he did not feel this or even flinch. This was a sedation and pain relief to make him sleepy. Charis left us alone with Barney while this took affect. It was very nice to be able to have the whole family sitting peacefully with Barney while he drifted off to sleep. After around 10-15 minutes he was snoring in a deep sleep like he usually would do. He felt no pain or discomfort he just drifted off to a deep sleep. Charis came back and we got organised to give him the injection. He was fast asleep and did not react to anything that was happening or feel any pain. The injection to put him to sleep was given and he passed away very peacefully surrounded by his family in his home. He had no fear or distress in his last moments, he was not aware of what was happening, he just fell deeper and deeper asleep until he passed. Everything went exactly how we had hoped. I had chosen to organise my own cremation for Barney but cloud 9 have lovely options available and can help you with this every step of the way.We will be forever grateful to Charis for helping us let our Barney pass in such a dignified and perfect way. Words cannot express how thankful I am for her help. I know Barney would have been distressed if this had happened anywhere else other than our home. I am indebted to Cloud 9 for the service they have provided. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, this meant everything to us 💕 thank you for doing what you do, it made the worst day of my life a little bit easier knowing Barney was in good hands.

We would like to thank Kate the care coordinator and Charis the vet for your empathy , compassion , kindness and care of our beloved Harry who sadly passed 18.1.22 at the incredible age of 20 years and 8 months old. Our hearts are broken as we knew they would be and miss him terribly everyday. Emma and I cannot commend Cloud 9 highly enough for all the care, compassion and respect shown to us and our beloved Milo. At the most difficult of times, Zoi helped Milo pass peacefully at home with his family and gave us precious time to say goodbye. A special mention for Elizabeth and her colleague for the dignity shown when it was time for Milo to leave and for Elizabeth's compassion throughout the funeral process. As hard as Milo's passing has been Cloud 9's team have been amazing.

A week ago today, we made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to Tess, our 13-year-old Border Terrier, a wonderful canine companion to my husband and I, a beloved family member who had provided so much fun, love and devotion to ourselves and our grandchildren as they were growing up, and who had battled for the last couple of years with a debilitating condition which had slowly deprived her of any quality of life.
Our vets (and most vets) are no longer carrying out house calls to put animals to sleep, and as we wished to avoid the clinical atmosphere of the vets surgery and to give Tess the reassurance, peace and dignity of her own home, we contacted Cloud 9.
Jack, the attending vet, visited our home at 6.30pm on 20/1/22, and from the moment he arrived, we felt reassured that we had made the right decision, difficult as it was.
Jack was so unrushed, compassionate and patient, giving us all (our daughter and one of our granddaughters were also here) the time for our questions to be answered and to come to terms with what was about to occur.
The actual procedure of sending Tess on her way was the most gentle we have ever witnessed (and we have had to have several animals out to sleep during our lives), she had the reassurance of us all touching and stroking her, and the comfort of her own bed - a beautiful death, if any death can be described that way.
The young lady from the cremation Company arrived about an hour after Jack had left, and she (Melissa) was also patient, compassionate, and treated Tess’s body as if she was still alive, wrapping her in a lovely, soft blanket along with her favourite toy fox.
We would definitely recommend Cloud 9 to any pet owners who want to give their four-legged companions the best send-off possible - we (and Tess) experienced a five star service from them.

Henry came out to our beloved Ellie yesterday. Cloud 9 arranged for a same day visit. Our darling girl went to sleep in her own bed with the people she loved around her. Henry was fantastic and we could not have wished for a calmer or more peaceful way for her to sleep for the last time. As a family our last wish for our beloved fur baby of 15 years Bella was for her to pass away at home surrounded by everyone who loved her.

A massive thank you to Ane the vet who talked us through and explained everything, she was so compassionate. After our final goodbyes and cuddles Bella peacefully passed away in her own bed surrounded by all who loved her including my 3 children.

A week ago my 16 year old boy, Chubbs was showing signs that it was his time to leave me. I made the heartbreaking call to cloud 9 vets who were with me the following evening. Charis was so lovely and understanding all throughout and I'm so thankful there a service out there that can offer the crossing to rainbow bridge at home as my boy had lost his sight at the start of lockdown and the horrible thought of taking him to a vet where it would have been so stressful for both us doesnt bear thinking about. I got Chubbs ashes home on Sunday and there was a lovely rainbow outside when Alex at Icare pet crem dropped them off. A wee nod to me to let me know he was happy. Thanks so much to Cloud 9 vets for making my last moments with him so peaceful and not rushed.

Monday we said goodbye to our sassy, sweet old girl Jess. 💔🐶 Not really one for posting on here anymore but felt the need to due to the experience we were given from Cloud 9 Vets. Monday morning Jess gave us the signs that she was ready to cross the rainbow bridge 🌈 After calling the vets who were not willing to visit the house I contacted Cloud 9 who were truly amazing. After an initial phone conversation with Elsa, Billy the vet visited a few hours later and made the experience as stress free and calm as possible as we said our goodbyes to our lovely girl. Most painful part of being a fur baby guardian is to make the decision to stop suffering and help them over that final hurdle. I always knew I’d want this to happen from the comfort of my home. My darling Roxy was surrounded by the people who loved her and was in her own bed at the time she went over the rainbow.

I cannot thank Zoi enough. This has been a horrific experience but Zoi made the end of my dogs life such a nice, peaceful and almost happy one. She was so compassionate and understanding and it was evident how much of an animal lover she is making sure she understood our decision and the reasons behind it. would like to thank cloud 9 service , from bottom of my heart, from lady who answered the phone toe crying my eyes , to the wonderful caring vet who came to our home. we had to help our fur baby Simba over rainbow bridge on Christmas Eve , after his struggle with lymphoma cancer, the vet was kind, caring, patience and explained everything to us. Simba passed over the rainbow bridge, in n his own home , in his own bed surrounded by his family holding him till his breath. made such a difficult heart breaking time easier and so much more comfortable for our fur baby. thank you from bottom of my broken heart xxxx

Since the age of ten, fifty-five years ago I have always had dogs in my life. As well as horses, stable cats, guinea-pigs, rabbits and hamsters. I’ve loved my dogs and there were usually at least two, the largest group were seven St. Bernards, two were rescued awaiting their new homes, an old English sheepdog a Rottie, a Labrador and two westie crosses. As you can imagine it’s so very sad as we let these wonderful animals slip away without pain or distress to them but I have always believed that a day too early rather than an hour too late. I also believe that this final and most difficult act of love means being with them, talking to them, smoothing them until they see, hear and feel no more. Then you can cry. The last two westie crosses would have been 21 on the first of April next year but they were becoming increasingly ill, Bear had lost his hearing and basically was confused a lot of the time. His litter sister Morag had lost virtually all sight. The good days were starting to be overtaken by the bad. These two hated being in the car and were so terrified of the vets that I knew I had to find a vet that would come to the house. I had clipped a piece from a dog magazine a few years earlier, it told of vets coming to your home, that there would be no rushing, no strange hands on them and it would be calm and peaceful. I rang and arranged it with staff who were kind when I started crying. On the day, last Friday the 19th at 10.00 Rachel arrived. She went through what would happen and Morag and Bear were not at all concerned with her presence. Rachel gave them a sedative injection sub cut and both drifted off into a deep sleep. I had Morag on my lap and my daughter had Bear on her lap. We talked to them, kissed them while Rachel quietly found a vein and they both slipped away. This was the death I so wanted for these last two dogs in my life. My age, health and poor mobility means it would be wrong to get a puppy or even an older dog as I would not be able to provide the best home for it. Most local vets will not come out nowadays and death in a surgery can only ever be stressful for the dog. I have stood or sat on the floor with my dogs as they left this world as I did with my horses. These animals enrich our lives and the final most important act of love, care and compassion is to be with them as they leave us. Cloud9 Vets made that possible and for that I will always be grateful, with especial thanks to Rachel for making the worst day a bit easy to cope with.

Cloud 9 Vets assisted us at the most difficult of times with care, compassion and patience - home euthanasia was definitely the way to go for us and unfortunately, our regular vet has stopped providing this vital service.

Even when our girls veins were collapsing the vet was so gentle with her, eventually she had to have injection into tummy. My girl passed crossed the rainbow bridge in the comfort of her own bed with her blankie over her surrounded by love. We as a family are heartbroken but we know we made the right decision in using cloud 9 . We didn’t want her to leave in a cold soulless clinical environment. Our girl liked her comfort. Our beautiful Loobie Lou crossed the rainbow bridge on 27th October 2021.
We found it so difficult making the decision to euthanize, Loobie had been suffering from Degenerative Mylopathy and deteriorated quite quickly over the past 2 weeks she was only 9 and should have had many years left with us but it was not to be.
She found vet visits stressful so we really wanted her to be at peace and feel safe in her final moments, cloud 9 allowed that to happen she went very peacefully on the sofa in her favourite spot with the dignity she deserved next to me and my husband. With our adult children and her companion Alfie also present.
We are very thankful for the team at Cloud 9 Vets for their faultless service. Vicky on the reception who arranged the visit was so helpful and understanding.
Andrea visited our home and was very gentle, calming, empathetic and kind to us all especially Loobie. He explained the process and allowed us to take the time we needed to say goodbye without feeling rushed. A special thank you to Andrea x

She returned Hope to us in a beautiful casket on 03.10.21. We also received x2 paw prints (additional cost but absolutely worth it), the casket was engraved with hopes name (a beautiful touch) and we also received some hair clippings in the bag she returned to us (a lovely surprise).

We had to say goodbye to our darling staffie cross Cookie last weekend. All staff at cloud 9 were very kind. Jack the vet was so caring and gentle with our little old lady aged 17. He talked us through everything and we were able to take our time and see Cookie slip away peacefully. Can’t recommend them enough.

Unfortunatley the Vet wasn't available for a last minute emergency euthansia appointment. Despite this, Jennifer the carer was very professional and kind and tried her very best for us. Our cat is now at peace (we had to take him in to the vet in the end) it was a peaceful passing and I want to thank Cloud 9 and Jennifer for trying so hard for him today and being such a lovely compassionate person.

Cloud 9 vets were fantastic, I strongly recommend them if you are in the unfortunate position of having to euthanise your pet. My dog Rascal was due to be euthanized by my local vet and although they are great, Rascal got totally distressed at the vet and would literally need to be dragged. The thought of that being her final moments along with not being with her in the final moments due to covid regulations broke my heart and I wanted her to be calm in her final moments. That is exactly what cloud 9 provided us. Charis was wonderful with my dog putting her at ease and her final moments were calm with me beside her on her favourite spot on the couch. I can't thank Cloud 9 enough for making a truly heartbreaking time so much easier and less traumatic .Rascal passed away peacefully which was the most important thing.

cant reccomend highly enough. charis from cloud 9 in paisley came out last Saturday at 12 and put our beautiful boy sam 2 sleep. it was so peaceful and was the ending i hoped he would have out in the garden where he loved. All staff were amazing from start to finish will forever be grateful.♡

It's a hard enough decision to make for your fur baby anyway. Tachiac was so so lovely and caring. I was so glad she was the one who came out to us. The whole process wasn't rushed, she understood our pain, explained everything, and only proceeded when we were ready. She left us to grieve for half hour, but popped back to check on us before leaving. Expensive but well worth it, to have my gorgeous boy die very chilled out at home in my arms, worth every penny. Thank you Tachiac and Cloud9vets.

We sadly had to put down our 13 year old German Shepard Oscar. Oscar found vet visits very stressful and we did not want his final moments to be stressful ones. Our beautiful boy, Bandit, crossed over the rainbow bridge last week. We are completely heartbroken 💔. Our only comfort was that he was able to pass away peacefully at home with all of us thanks to Cloud 9. Kate who made the arrangements for us was lovely and our vet, Zoi, couldn't have been any more caring and compassionate. Cloud 9 vets were compassionate in helping little Bill pass over the rainbow bridge. My regular vets are still not doing house visits due to Covid. I had to treat Bill the same way as I did his brother Ben, with home euthanasia. Thank goodness for Cloud 9, I could never have taken him to the vets to be pts.

Faye was caring and compassionate with our lovely Dalmatian Ruby who at nearly 14 was deteriorating and needed that helping hand to leave us comfortably in her own bed at home with us around her.
Vet visits were always stressful for her, so being here was very important to us.
We couldn’t fault the way Faye looked after Ruby and us in what is the worst part of owning a dog.
Also very impressed with the service from the pet crematorium, who delivered Ruby’s ashes back to us in 5 days.

we recently (31.07.2021) made the difficult decision to say goodnight and godbless to our wonderful cat Smudge. we had 17 fantastic years with him he was our beautiful boy. cloud 9 were recommended by a friend as I didnt want Smudge to be traumatised by a trip to the vets. Calling cloud 9 vets was one of the hardest decisions i ever had to make. But i new the time had come to let our beloved family member (lily the dog) go. From the first phone call they were professional and comforting. Explaining the process and prices with empathy and patience. They did everything to get the date best for our family to be there which meant everything to us.Our vet came on time and from the moment she came in she was amazing. So friendly. Giving our lily lots of fuss and explaining what will happen with again empathy and care. She delivered the first injection to help our lily go off into a deep sleep giving us time with her as she drifted off before coming back for the final injection. She was so patient and empathetic. Making sure we were all ready for what was to come.After it was over she was so lovely. Letting us know she had passed and helping us cover her with her favorite blanket. I can honesty not praise the vet enough.Before she left she made sure we were ok and advised us the Crematorium would arrive soon. We had about 15 minutes to say our final goodbyes before the crem turned up. Again he was lovely empathetic and treated lily with respect when taking her away. Lifting her with care and placing her in a lovely blanketed cage before letting us say a final goodbye.The whole process was very well arranged and treated our family and beloved lily with care and respect. I cannot recommend this service enough. It enabled us to say goodbye to our lily where she was surrounded by her family and calm/ happy in her own space. Taking away the traumatic vet trip we all wanted to avoid.On behalf of myself, lily and our family. Thank you so much. We cannot express our gratitude for all of your care today.

Sadly we had to have our dog suddenly put down late last month and we owe a massive thank you to Cloud 9 vets or making an extremely difficult time as easy as can be.With COVID-19, it was difficult to find anybody who would come to the house or allow all 4 os us to be with our dog whilst he crossed the rainbow bridge. However we then discovered Cloud 9 who despite it being Bank Holiday weekend, came to our house so our beloved dog could remain at home for his final moments surrounded by all of the family. Roshni, the vet who attended was extremely caring and compassionate and explained every part of the process to us. She was extremely understanding and treated Harley with great dignity and respect at all times which bought comfort to us all and at no point did we feel rushed.Thankyou to everyone at Cloud 9 for making the process as easy and as peaceful as possible, and a massive thank you to Roshni for her kindness, professionalism and compassion throughout - we are forever grateful.

We cannot recommend Cloud 9 enough, when our cat Gladys deteriorated with an inoperable tumour we had to make the impossible decision of when to relieve her from her suffering. You sent us an angel in Faye, she was so kind and compassionate and helped us all with every step of the process. 9 days ago we had to say goodbye to our beautiful German Shepherd Mia. She was 14 1/2 years old.

We knew the time had come for our beautiful gsd Taya, she’d become partially paralysed and was just tired and ready to go. Taya is scared of going to the vets, so we didn’t want her last moments to be fear and I didn’t want to arrive at a vets with a dog and leave without one.

The vet came and gently explained how the next hour would go, so we laid Taya down and I put soft music on for her.
Everything went so smoothly, she fell asleep in my arms, I had all the time in the world to let her go off softly with no fear.
Then she was placed gently in a bed and I tucked her in, taken out to the car where I gave her her last kiss and off she went
My son was able to give her a goodbye kiss too

Excellent care and compassion from all at Cloud 9, special thanks to Judit she made the passing of our lovely old border terrier bearable. We had to say the hardest goodbye to my old girl Hope on Monday after her fighting like a warrior for 4 weeks since getting poorly. I'm settled with knowing my girl was gently helped to sleep by cloud 9 in her own home with her bestfriends by her side thanks to cloud9. she was quite sleepy anyway from being unwell but i can relax knowing she just drifted off to an eternal sleep within her sleep. no stress of taking her to the vets and having to come home without her. thankyou to our vet that showed so much compassion to us & Hope and our other two dogs. Also the fact that cloud 9 took care of the aftercare was a big weight off our shoulders. Our hope returned home yesterday in a lovely casket were she can be with us forever 🤍

Last week we said goodbye to our gorgeous Lulu.

Today my precious girl Whizzy gained her wings, we are full of gratitude to cloud 9 vet Andrea who came to our home to enable me and my other two dogs to be with her until the end. Whizzy had a gentle, dignified end in our garden, wrapped in my arms. Andrea gave us space to say a proper goodbye and i felt comfortable letting him take her away, he was so kind and gentle. (So difference to past experiences of leaving the vets with an empty lead)

When we had to make the extremely difficult quick decision to put our beloved dog Tyler to sleep on Sunday 18th April 2021 we couldn't have asked for more from Cloud 9 Vets.
From the initial call to make arrangements they were compassionate, kind, informative and extremely helpful.
They were originally going to ask Samuel to come to us, but we mentioned that Tyler did not like males (he was a typical nervous protective German Shepherd cross) and we would prefer a female they tried all they could to arrange this but unfortunately no females were available.
Samuel kindly attended at 4:45pm, and right from the start his compassion, thoughtfulness and kindness shone through. He briefed us in the garden on what was going to happen and never rushed us or Tyler at all, constantly reassuring us that if we had any questions we just needed to ask. At each stage of the process he kept us fully informed, allowing us time to say our goodbyes in as much time as we needed. Samuel had a lovely soft and gentle nature and his presence was reassuring throughout the entire process.
We really couldn't have asked for a more peaceful send off for our beloved boy, who was brave in his fight against his cancer right until the very final day.

I contacted Cloud 9, as my own vets were too busy to come out to the house to allow our beautiful girl Saffie to pass in peace at home. It’s obviously an incredibly sad time, but the whole process was dealt with very sensitively, from the first phone call to the return of her ashes. Andrea was lovely. He explained the process, what may happen, how she may react, and then he gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. Saffie went to sleep peacefully in her favourite armchair, and she was brought back to us safely today in a lovely casket. For anyone wanting to allow their beloved pet to pass with dignity and peace I can’t recommend Cloud 9 highly enough.

I had to face one of the worst decisions last week. To say goodbye to my beloved Monty.Knowing how much he wasn’t keen on visiting the vets, I did not want that to be the last place he visited. I did not want him to have any stress or anxiety.The vets gave me the number for Cloud 9.From the moment I agonisingly made the telephone call, to Andrea then coming my house the next day, everything was gentle, respectful and as perfect as you could want something so sad and awful to be.Definitely the best decision I made to repay my beautiful loyal boy for his unconditional love. It was peaceful, calm and the right way.I received his ashes today. Just a week later.Courier was also very respectful.I have nothing but gratitude to Cloud 9. Thank you.

I am writing this review for the loss of our beloved dog, Bella.Making the decision for At-Home Gentle Euthanasia from Cloud 9 was difficult, but the process was made easy.The call handler treated us empathetically and was very understanding. She was softly spoken and I found this soothing.The vet, Andrea, was professional and empathetic and brought his own lovely blanket to lay her on.He treated our Bella beautifully, administering a sedative first which let her drift off into a deep sleep. Then he gave her a final shot which eventually sent her up to doggy heaven.We are broken but so thankful for this service and would recommend Cloud 9 in a heartbeat to anyone who has to make this difficult decision.

Today I had to make the tough decision to put my beloved dog to sleep. I cannot thank cloud 9 vets enough for helping give Oscar the best goodbye I could hope for. The person I spoke on the phone (sorry did not catch a name) was very calming and offered great support and advice and took time to understand the situation. When Sam arrived Oscar remained calm and was stress free throughout. Sam explained everything in detail, there was no rush and everything was at our pace. Thank you to everyone at Cloud 9 Vets they were absolutely amazing our husky had been deteriorating rather quickly and we had to make that heartbreaking decision to stop her pain and suffering. Everyone at cloud 9 were compassionate and caring. Henry was amazing he went through everything, nothing was rushed and everything was so peaceful and calm. The next day the crematorium phoned me to say they had Nukka and she was safe and being looked after, they checked to see if I wanted paw prints taken and made sure everything was correct with how I wanted her ashes. I cannot fault this company and they have made my hardest decision become easier. There isn’t a day goes by where I don’t miss her but I’m so glad she spent her last moments with us and in her bed where she was happy. Thank you Cloud 9 vets from all of us and a huge thank you from Nukka who is now free of pain 🐾🐕

Thank you for coming to help me a week ago, my normal vets wanted us to not come into their building and say our goodbyes at the door then let my dog go off on his own scared and with strangers, I could not do that to him it was heartbreaking enough what I was having to do but they made it worse. We contacted you and you give us a time you will come to our home, The vet came Andre I think he was called was very nice and he has a gentle soul and is caring. He explained what he was going to do and how gentle it will be. I had my boy cremated and was returned very quickly in a nice casket with his name on it. A couple of days later we received a sympathy card from Cloud 9 and the vet that came. I can not recommend Cloud 9 enough when it comes to such a heartbreaking decision about a loved one. It’s taken over a week to even write this, we obviously always knew this day would come but didn’t really want to think about it too much, meet Pongo & Maddy age 14, when Pongo was 8 he was diagnosed with a mast cell tumour & ended up having his toe amputated & been on chemo tablet form since then, & his legs ended up going in the end where he just couldn’t stand up & struggled suddenly to even get to the garden to do his business, unbelievable that it wasn’t the cancer that got him in the end, Maddy however was such a strong minded dog that she had put up with so much pain for around 3 years, with 2 operations on her mouth for her teeth which obviously didn’t work as she always rubbed her mouth & had arthritis for about same time to the point where she ended up with severe pain from her head right down her spine, we knew as she would Yelp without even going near her head, it was her warning to us to be gentle when touching her, she was also incontinent from her back end for 18 months.
As Pongo had Suddenly deteriorated on Monday 1st March i telephone cloud 9 vets which I wasn’t even sure I would be able to talk about however immediately after speaking with Vicky she made me feel at ease, she explained everything & told us who the local pet cremation company were which she also spoke to these to make sure they could come afterwards, we arranged a time etc. To be honest after the phone call I couldn’t stop thinking about that day approaching but we left it for 3 days so we could spend more time with them but when that day came Pongo was terrible on his legs.
Friday 5th March had arrived & Sandy the vet arrived, he was lovely, came in to see them both lying on there favourite place in the house- the sofa, no one could ever get a seat in our house, he talked to them, he was so compassionate & understanding, he explained what was going to happen, he gave them there first injection where they would go to sleep & at this point was the best time to say our goodbyes, it was heartbreaking, they were both licking our faces, we could not stop crying but know it was the best thing to let them go together as they both had there problems & one would never be the same without the other one, after spending about 10 mins they peacefully went to sleep & looked at peace & without pain, Sandy then administered the final injections, I honestly thought at that point I was going to be sick. Sandy left after this & we got to spend another half hour with them just looking at them, cuddling them until the cremation company arrived.
I cannot recommend cloud 9 vets enough for arranging a vet to come to our home to make this stress free for our lovely pets, they are professional from start to finish, it was the best thing we could have done for them & deserved a peaceful farewell, we will never forget them & still heartbroken 😢😢 but so glad we found cloud 9 vets as our own vets would not come to our house.

My grandmothers cat, who was a feral, but well loved, had heart disease and was very poorly and obviously not well. A member of the Cloud 9 team come out and VERY pertinently dealt with Bluey, he took 4 shots of sedative and was a hard cat to try and corner but the man who was with us reassured us at every point and kept up updated and at ease. I could not be happier with the amount of respect and care put into the visit. I would recommend this service without a doubt. Thank you for being so kind as such a difficult time. 💕

Samuel, the vet assigned to the euthanasia was wonderfully kind and gentle in his actions and words at this sad time of having my 18yr old cat Worzel euthanized 9/3/21 - it was a very peaceful passing, I couldnt have asked for more compassion from them.

We sadly had to have our 14 year old Springer put to sleep yesterday. Having received a recommendation from a friend, we called cloud nine and arranged a home visit for the very next day.
Sam came to our home, talked us through everything and Max died peacefully in my arms. He was totally chilled, in familiar surroundings, with those who loved him.

Cloud 9 vets were incredible when I had to make the decision to have my beloved cat put to sleep. They were sensitive, thoughtful and caring through the whole process. The vet who came, Nacho, was the most caring vet I have ever come across. He was calm, sensitive and kind during the process and treated my cat like he was his own. I wouldn’t have been able to cope with the situation had he not been so sensitive and gentle. My cat went peacefully in his bed, surrounded by the ones who loved him most. Rang cloud 9 vets on the 8th feb as our gorgeous dog Charlie was really poorly they booked us in that day to come and put him asleep . Andrea came out and he was fab from start to finish was so helpful and went threw everything he had to do which made us feel a little at ease . Our lovely dog after 12 years went really peaceful on his favourite chair was very sad and emotional but a really lovely service and just so glad he could be at home with us all around him . He was then taken to the pet crematorium in leyland and we were able to pick him up a few days later . We now have him back home with us in a beautiful little box 😇🐶. Our normal vet wouldn’t come to the house so we contacted Cloud9 and it was definitely meant to be. First I spoke to Chris on the phone and instantly his manner and tone made me more relaxed about contacting someone we knew nothing about. He took care of organising the vet and our beautiful girls cremation. Yesterday Andrea the vet turned up exactly at the time agreed, understanding how special every last moment is. He was so gentle, caring and full of compassion. Everything was calm, peaceful and my beautiful girl passed in her own bed in a dignified way and I have the memory of seeing her asleep and so peaceful. Everything was in our time. I can’t recommend Cloud9 service highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, although not too soon I hope!!

I cannot recommend Cloud 9 enough. The customer service I received from Vicky was amazing. I needed a vet out that day and although she didn't promise anything, she still made it happen. The vet that came out was amazing (I swear she was going to cry with me) and my dog felt very comfortable around her (which tells you everything you need to know). Alex and Courtney from the crematorium were amazing as well. I started the day very anxious as I wasn't going to my own vet due to covid but Cloud 9 took all the work/stress/worry away so I concentrate on what really mattered that day. I am actually grateful that Covid pushed me towards them as I would never choose another way to have to go through this experience again other than with Cloud 9. Forever grateful ❤️

Andrea from Cloud 9 vets came to me at just a few hours notice when I needed their help, which meant that I could say goodbye to Tara dog, loving companion for more than 12 years, after spending some time in our garden and she could leave this world happy, from home. He was very professional, pleasant and helpful and made a sad time so much easier for me.
She is now buried in our garden, we and even had a rainbow appear over the garden for her.

Our 15yr old dog - Max was diagnosed with a large inoperable tumour and his health had rapidly deteriorated. The heartbreaking decision was made to have our Max put to sleep.I researched many company’s during the morning and Cloud9 appeared to be one of the best with outstanding reviews.I called cloud9 vets at approximately midday on a Saturday. The female on the telephone was very professional and empathetic, and although it was Saturday afternoon she managed to get a vet to our home at 1730hrs, and then the crematorium arrived at 1830hrs.The whole process was managed superbly and all individuals involved were outstanding. The vet was incredibly compassionate, empathetic and reassuring. The crematorium were again very empathetic and assured us that Max was in very safe hands and they would take great care of him.The crematorium then delivered Max’s ashes 3 days later.In such sad circumstances, the process and the people involved gave great comfort to me and my wife which made it that little bit more bearable.We would highly recommend.Thank you so much.

Extremely professional and compassionate service, who took care of everything for us at a very difficult time in these extraordinary Covid days. The vet Charis that visited us could not have been any better or more caring. We can’t speak highly enough of the way we were treated today. The vet was a kind, sensitive and gentle man who eased our dear cat into sleep in the best way possible. He took his time, and was patient and understanding with us. He seemed less like a vet and more like a friend holding our hands into our saddest day.

If you ever find yourself as a pet owner in the position where you have to make THE decision I cannot recommend Cloud9 highly enough. Both those who answer the phone and the vet Damian who visited us late yesterday evening made one of the worst days no worse. Damian was professional yet friendly, sincerely seemed to care, was unrushed despite the hour, explained clearly what would happen, was utterly compassionate, and amazingly patient. The at-home service allowed us to say goodbye on our terms in our own time but more importantly our much-loved cat was in familiar surroundings (environment and people) and there was no need to do the stressful drive in a cat box to the vets to be held, surrounded by strange smells, sounds, and people, with bright lights in a place associated with pain and discomfort. It is a horrid thing to have to do but if it has to be done for the avoidance of pain and suffering I can honestly say I would choose Cloud9 again. Thank you so much.

On the 29 December 2020, Cloud9 were recommended to us by our usual vets as they said they don't do home visits. Henry the vet from Cloud9 came to our home that evening, an hour's drive, to help us ease our darling 14 year old shih Tzu, Fizzy's suffering. It became necessary that evening following a sudden deterioration in her chronic kidney failure. Within the Covid requirements, all wearing masks we sat around Fizzy's basket. I held and fondled her face while Henry administered the drugs necessary. Over the next hour she drifted to sleep with a gentle smile in her beautiful eyes. While we are heartbroken, we are comforted in the knowledge that we did the best we could by our little dog and avoided distressing her with further attendances at the vets and the vet hospital. Cloud9 also helped put us in touch with a compassionate pet cremation service. Cloud9 have made this incredibly sad time so much more bearable in that we know we did the best we could for Fizzy. Thank you ,🙏💝

We had to let out Malamute Mojo go in July. With Covid-19 my own vets would not attend the house so Cloud 9 was recommended to me. Well what can I say from my first call to them they were amazing, talked us through everything and even called later in the evening to check on Mojos condition. First thing the next day another call to see how the night went, finally we made the decision and the lovely Andrea came to visit us at 8.30pm which gave my eldest son time to get home from London.
He explained everything and we decided the garden was a peaceful place to do it as Mojo loved his garden!!!
We were not rushed, time and care was taken and he went peacefully under his favourite tree.
Andrea took time and care with him wrapping him in the biggest fluffy blanket to take him to the crematorium.
The after care aswell is second to none, a little card arrived a few days later which is next to him under the tv.
If I could advise anyone in this position Cloud 9 are amazing!!!!

Today I had to have my Rottweiler who was suffering from bone cancer put to sleep.I originally booked it in for Wednesday but sadly he went downhill very fast last night and I had to change it to this morning.The vet who came out was incredibly professional and caring, the whole procedure was done beautifully and with great dignity to my beloved friend. I cannot recommend Cloud Nine vets enough for their kindness, compassion and professionalism. Andrea came to our home exactly when expected, explained everything thoroughly and did not rush us. While advising us, he did not try to direct us to a decision we weren't happy with. He is also a very skilled and caring vet. My dog Daisy did not even wake up during the procedure and passed peacefully. I have had a different experience at another vets and this couldn't have been any better. Sadly not even all humans have a 'good death', but when there is only one last thing you can do for your beloved pet, then Cloud Nine are the very best people to help. Thank you.

We sadly had to let our 10 year old Boxer Milly grow her angel wings on 15/08/2020 and couldn’t bare the thought of letting her go in the vets as she has always been scared to go. Making the decision to put our beloved dog of 14 years to sleep was the hardest one we have had to make. He was diagnosed with kidney disease and fought hard for 3 years, until he was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure a few weeks ago. We had hoped he would pass naturally to spare us making the unthinkable decision, however it got to the point where his quality of life had completely deteriorated and waiting any longer would only have seen him endure real suffering and loss of dignity. We kept battling with when would be the right time. Although we knew he had no fight left in him we kept seeing little glimmers of his old self each day which made the decision so much harder. How could we “choose” to say goodbye to a member of our family? Was keeping him around selfish and only for our benefit? Was he ready to say goodbye, would he give us some kind of sign?
We knew that if he quickly made a turn for the worse and we had to take him to his ordinary vet (which makes him anxious even on a good day), we would not be able to go in with him (due to Covid-19) and he would be all alone during his final moments. This is when we found and got in touch with Cloud 9 Vets. Making the call was itself daunting, however Amber at Cloud 9 put us at ease. She was comforting and empathetic, and was able to answer all our questions, big and small. She booked a local vet, Punit, to come around the following day at a time which suited us best. We also booked an individual cremation.
The morning of was difficult as we knew it was out final few hours with our baby, and we were anxious about the whole procedure, despite how much Amber has alleviated our worries. We pampered him, offered him all his favourite treats (he unfortunately wasnt interested in eating by this point) and got him tucked up all comfy with his favourite blankies. We all sat around him and said our goodbyes.
Punit turned up exactly on time, introduced himself and explained what he would be doing step by step. Once we were ready he very calmly administered the sedative. Being a large dog, it took a while to kick in. We all sat around and shared happy stories about his long life with us until he was peacefully asleep. Punit did not rush us in any way, gave us space and encouraged us to take as much time as we need with him before he administered the second injection. We all said our final goodbyes, gave him lots of kisses and prayed as a family for him to rest in peace. He passed so peacefully, just like he had drifted into a deep sleep. No twinges, no sounds, nothing scary. We cried and let out our feelings only after he had passed, ensuring his final memories were of normality; his family sitting around him giving him love.
The crematorium came around 20 minutes later to collect his body. We were able to follow our religious tradition which requires certain items to be cremated with the body. The undertaker was very understanding of our wishes and ensured things were done just as we asked. His ashes were returned to us 4 days later as promised.
Although this has been a heartbreaking time for us, we felt a surprising sense or relief and comfort in knowing that we gave our darling dog the most compassionate and peaceful send off, in the comfort of his own home. Overall the entire experience with Cloud 9 Vets was faultless and made such a difficult time of our lives more bearable. In hindsight, we feel like we made the right decision for our dog, at the right time.
We would highly recommend the service to anyone facing the unthinkable decision to put their beloved pet to sleep. It is the most heart-wrenching kindness we can offer, for their lifetime of love and loyalty.

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to my baby Dylan. Our own vets still have a closed door policy but I wanted to be with him of course and so I was relieved when we found Cloud 9 Vets. Dylan was very poorly and they came out the next day. The vet who came to us, Andrea, was so kind, caring and compassionate - he treated Dylan with the utmost respect and dignity as he deserved and I couldn't have asked for more. Dylan hated vets but instantly warmed to Andrea and obviously knew that he was a kindred spirit. Thank you so much for helping Dylan to pass peacefully and without suffering with us there, surrounded by love in his last moments. It means everything to me and made the hardest day of my life slightly easier x

Our pet Hilda was agoraphobic and had numerous health problems causing her to become very unwell . We wanted a vets that would come out to the house so that we could say goodbye to her in her own environment so not to stress her . The care and compassion towards our dog, it was as if it was his own, exactly what was needed and this compassion extended to our family which my mum was extremely grateful for. Especially during the strange times of COVID-19.
It was more appreciated as our regular vets had refused to come out for home visit, even after we had explained that the dog hated cars, he couldn’t at that time stand up and was crying all this was explained but still they wouldn’t attend after advertising 24/7 care with home visits.
My mum as deeply upset at the thought we would have to man handle our dog into a car and cause him further uncomfort/ and or distress.
It was a great relief to all when cloud 9 said you were able to attend the house without issue and we were most grateful and the vet had to travel some distance to get to us.
It was just what my mum needed and wanted everyone was able to say goodbye and she got to be with her fur- best friend til the end.

I’m really glad I chose this route when I knew it was time to let my very loved cat saffi go, very sad day and I’m still grieving this loss but for something so heartbreaking it really couldn’t have gone any better, saffi didn’t have to leave the home she loved so much, the vet was brilliant - sensitive and kind and also made the whole thing as comfortable as possible for me and for saffi too- I don’t really have all the words but I’m grateful to cloud 9 vets and I’m so glad I did it this way, it made such a difference - and my other two cats also got to say goodbye. Cloud 9 Vets helped my dog have peaceful sleep in the place he loved mostSaying goodbye to my best friend, my Westie, Max, was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I knew the time was coming but when suddenly on a Sunday morning his condition had deteriorated so badly and he was in so much pain, there was no waiting. Thankfully, Cloud 9 was able to help me and Max. The coordinator Amber was kind and so helpful, leading me through the process and making sure that he could be seen that day. Dorangela, the vet, was calming, supportive, and such a wonderful person. They both took away a big part of the stress of the whole experience. All matters were handled in one go -- from arranging the vet to the pickup by the crematorium. It's not easy to come to the decision, but having Max take his final sleep in the comfort of his bed, outside in the garden he loved, surrounded by the people he loved, is a decision I don't regret making. Cloud 9 Vets helped my dog have peaceful sleep in the place he loved mostSaying goodbye to my best friend, my Westie, Max, was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. As soon as Amber at Cloud 9 picked up the phone she was just what we needed in a moment of crisis. She was calm and understanding and although it was Sunday evening somehow she managed to get a vet to us within the hour. Andrea was just wonderful - calm, respectful, understanding and explained everything. We were able to say goodbye to our beautiful 15yr old rescue dog Zak in the garden, on his bed with lots of hugs and kisses to send him on his way. We called Cloud 9 vets when my beautiful dog was suffering from liver cancer. They were extremely professional and the vet that came out to our house was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. He explained the process in step by step detail letting us know what to expect and how our dog may react to different things in the process. We were not rushed at all and got to give her a very calm, dignified and loving end to her life for which we will always be grateful. I cannot recommend them highly enough

Sad to say my old girl Copper’s time had come and she was peacefully euthanised at home at 16 1/2 years old.
Her tail did not stop wagging for a fuss right to the very end, (or for pepperami!) which was as perfect an end as I could have hoped for, at home, relaxed and happy to have me by her side as always. ❤️

Would highly recommend cloud 9, having to call last minute on Saturday morning hoping someone could attend to my old moggy tommy, to start with the woman on the other end off the phone was lovely and even through my tears got me everything I needed. Within a short space off time if I remember correctly Andrea was with us and allowed me and my family to stay with our beloved pet right to the end and then privately transported tommy to Leyland pet cremation services for me and arranged for a return off ashes to me all stress free and so friendly. On Sunday 21st June we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our beautiful German Shepard Cheavus to sleep. At nearly 14 years old we had suspected DM and the final stages came on quite suddenly. During the pandemic we didn’t think our wish for her (when the time came) to have our beautiful girl put to sleep at home would be possible but we found you. You truly are angels in disguise. In such a difficult time, Your empathy on the phone speaking to you through broken tears, even though you didn’t know us, we felt supported.
The lady who answered our cell provided a caring calm voice (I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name) and the selfless vet (Andrea if we remember correctly) went above and beyond to work an extra long day, to be with Cheavus and my partner and doing what was needed so Cheavus was no longer sad and unable to walk. In the home she knew, laying on the bed she loved…she passed away peacefully and the final memory of her going to sleep, my partner explained, was gentle as described…and we wholeheartedly thank them all.
The decision to euthanise is not one any human makes easily for their furry friend but to know there is a service out there where empathy and compassion is at every step, is truly heartwarming.
It’s not an easy thing they do and must be difficult for them all daily, but knowing they are helping animals and their owners in their time of need, I do hope brings them comfort.

if you are wanting home euthanasia for your pet i would highly recommend Cloud 9 vets.
Last week i had to make the hard decision to help my Shih Tzu Milo pass over the rainbow bridge. Due to the current Covid situation our own vets disappointingly were unable to assist with this and there was no way that i was going to hand Milo over to die alone away from those he loved, as they would not allow us in the surgery to be with him either. Thats when i called Cloud 9 for help, they were very understanding and sent James to perform the procedure which was done professionally and with dignity. Milo passed in my arms peacefully and James was so very caring and supportive. Thankyou so very much James for enabling me to give Milo a loving and dignified passing.
Milo was cremated and his ashes are now back home with us where he belongs, RIP my sweet beautiful boy xxx

Its been nearly 2 months since we had our beautiful Poppy put to sleep due to cancer. A hard time in lock down made so much easier knowing that she could be put to sleep at home and not left at our local vets door. From the first phonecall to the vet coming out and a crematorium picking her up, it was faultless. The vet was lovely, I can't remember her name due to the pain and devastation we were going through. I know if cloud 9 were not around the pain of leaving my girl at the vets door would have broken me completely. Knowing she was at home on the sofa with her blanket and Teddy bear and we were with her, gave me lots of comfort. Thank you so much for being there when we needed you xx

We called in Cloud 9 after our 15 year old Sheltie Figgys struggle became impossible for him to live with anymore, and with our own vet refusing to allow us to be with him we hoped he would get the end he deserved. On Saturday 20th June we made the decision that it was time for Belle to take her journey over the Rainbow Bridge. We’d originally called (a day earlier) to arrange the euthanasia later in the week but she deteriorated quite quickly. I cannot thank the team highly enough. We took the difficult decision to say it was time to say goodbye to our beloved dog Tara.we have had Tara from a puppy for 12 years.I rang on Monday and spoke about what would happen etc, this was met with compassion and understanding from the beginning.The vet that came to us was amazing, everything was as we wanted it.The service we received from start to finish was at our pace, explained to my son and daughter and they remained with her the whole time.I just want to say thank you so much.You made this incredibly difficult time much easier for us all in the peacefulness of her passing.Thank you from the bottom of our heart for all your help.x

Just like to say a big thank you to Cloud 9 for the service you provided to me in such a hard time. It was time for my best friend for 12 years "Buster" to go. We were in lockdown. The first phone conversation was very sympathetic and you described everything in detail of what would happen, Andrea was really good when he met Buster. He was very calming and explained everything he was doing. We even managed to have a conversation about the dog he has rescued, loves and takes everywhere with him. The sympathy card he sent after Busters passing was much appreciated and a very nice touch. Would highly recommend this company if your in the situation you never want to be in.

I cannot praise the team enough. During a very difficult time they were so caring and helpful. Loosing our little Ronnie was so difficult for us all, especially my mum. She got to hold him and cuddle him in his last moments. Thank you to all the team, from the phone call to the visit you were all very gracious. I read something once that stuck with me. From a pet- “I have been there for you through all your good and bad times, please don’t leave me at mine”. We very sadly had to let our dog Jade go off to Rainbow Bridge yesterday. As a family this was a heartbreaking decision to make after 13 years with her. We wanted Jade to be put to sleep at home with her family around her and Cloud 9 vets advised the garden so we could all be present. Andrea was our vet and he was very compassionate and understanding about our difficult decision. He stepped back after sedation and was very unobtrusive and allowed us the time to give lots of kisses and cuddles before we were ready to let Jade go. Using Cloud 9 enabled us to give Jade a peaceful, dignified ending in her own home surrounded by all her family. I thank you for your compassion and kindness on such a difficult day and would highly recommend to anyone considering euthinasia at home for their pet. We made the decision to keep Jade at home for a while after and arranged to take her to a Crematorium ourselves, Cloud 9 can also arrange to take care of your pet after should you choose to want that.

Andrea came next day after the vets couldn’t accommodate a home visit for our elderly German shepherd. He was so understanding and professional and made what is a very upsetting time bearable. I had to make the painful & heartbreaking decision to let my cat go to sleep today. My usual vets aren't doing home visits at the moment due to the Pandemic & my cat Archie was a very nervous ex-stray cat who hated enclosed spaces so was terrified of a cat carrier & also hated travelling. I didn't want to put him through this on his final day & I needed to be with him when he passed, which I wouldn't have been allowed to do at the vets. Thankfully I was told about Cloud 9, I'm so pleased I used them. Andrea was my vet & he was so caring, compassionate & understanding, after hearing Archie's background & health history, seeing him & examining him; he put my mind at ease that I was doing the right thing & kindest thing for Archie & he made his passing calm & peaceful, I never felt any of it was rushed. Archie wasn't aware of what was happening as he was sedated 1st. For most people like me, it is an expensive service, but for me it's worth it to be able to give my beloved furbabies a calm & peaceful passing which is in their own home surroundings. Run free at rainbow bridge Archie with your feline friend Vinnie until we can all be together again. 🌈 🐾❤️

Throughout her life she was very nervous of travelling and doubly so when going to the vets. Therefore, when we knew the end was close, it was important to us that we were able to arrange for her to be euthanised at home. They worked hard in the background arranging for the vet to visit at 10am on Sunday to put Erin to sleep and for the crematorium representative to arrive at 11am to take her away to be cremated.
All in all, this meant that Erin had as dignified and comfortable a passing as could be hoped for and we are so grateful to Cloud 9 Vets for arranging everything for us, leaving us free to grieve.
Everyone involved was so kind and sympathetic and I would not hesitate to recommend Cloud 9 Vets to anyone in a similar situation with their beloved pet.

What a wonderful service cloud 9 vets provide. The process of having our dog put to sleep was made much more personal by happening at home with Jenna lying in her bed. The vet, Jennifer, that came out couldn't have been more helpful or understanding and explained the process before she began. We decided to bury Jenna in our garden but cloud 9 also work in collaboration with pet cremators.

Can't recommend this lovely company enough. We just had our much loved cat put to sleep, who had been with us for 15 years. It was so heartbreaking, especially as it happened during the middle of the COVID lockdown - all our local vets said we had to leave him in the cat basket in a car park to be taken away, and couldn't be with him. But I'm so happy I looked around and found Cloud 9 - they were able to send a vet out to give him a calm and peaceful passing in our home, and allowed me to sit 2m away to comfort him. She didn't rush us, allowed us to say goodbye and was genuinely caring. It was worth every single penny to know we gave him a dignified passing in his home, rather than putting him through the stress and upset of being taken to a vet. Everyone we spoke to within the company was so compassionate, caring, responsive to any queries and clearly they are all loving pet owners too, as it reflects in the quality of care. I will not hesitate to use their service again in the future and recommend them to everyone I know. What an invaluable service they are providing.

My beautiful Sophie took a stroke that there was no coming back from, that was devastating. However, due to Lockdown my vet couldn’t come to the house, nor could I be with her in the surgery. I just remember a rush of helplessness consume me when the Vet told me this. All they could offer me was to give me Sophie back to take home. She was born in this house and it was only right that she stay here until the end. However, one of the admins told me about Cloud9 and said that other clients had used them during lockdown and she said they highly recommended them.

Had Andrea call tonight after phoning Lisbet this afternoon. Both could not have been any kinder. Wonderful, caring people. Andrea was so gentle and respectful of my little darling and it was such a peaceful end. I could not have asked for more. Maddie passed away at home, peacefully, with her family around her. Shanice the vet was wonderful and caring and said she would stay for as long as she was needed.

I used Cloud 9 vets in December when it was time to say goodbye to my precious shar-pei, Bluebell. Although it was a very sad and surreal day, I do know that Cloud 9 handled things absolutely seamlessly.I rang without much notice and within 90 mins a vet had arrived.All the staff were so kind and compassionate. The care was wonderful. My dog Holly did just slowly drift off to sleep! You got the feeling you could have all the time in the world! Everything was thoroughly explained throughout. Would definitely recommend!

Can't thank Cloud9 enough. Our 15yr old boy Baxter was at the end of his journey and in a lot of pain. The only way to help him was to drag him the following day to the vets. Cloud9 came to the rescue within hours and with the kind, considerate and gentle vet was able to fall asleep with every single member of the family by his side. He was loved beyond words and this was the loveliest passing we could have wished for. A big (very sad😭) thank you from the Holdsworth Family for helping our boy transition in his comfy warm bed with his family. It meant the world at an unbelievably heartbreaking time.

Highly recommend cloud 9vets we sadly had to put our beloved old boy to sleep. We rang them they came to our home the same day. They took there time with us and benny. They took him away afterwards and got his ashes back the next day. They made a very hard time alot easier for us and for benny. Can't thank them enough xxx

We called in cloud 9 vets who provide a home service nationwide, this gave Feezil the dignity he deserved after being our loving friend for eighteen and a half years. The young man that came was amazing, very professional, compassionate, and he explained everything in great detail and how Feezil may react, he didn't rush and stayed for nearly half an hour until Feezil was resting.
We called in cloud 9 vets who provide a home service nationwide, this gave Feezil the dignity he deserved after being our loving friend for eighteen and a half years. Cloud 9 vets were so kind and compassionate during this difficult time. They were very supportive and took the time to go through our options with us. Amber was lovely and went the extra mile to help us with out decision. I can't thank nacho enough for going out of his way to travel down to us. He was kind and compassionate and you could tell he was a really animal lover, giving jess a peaceful send off. I can't reccomend them enough to anyone else facing this difficult time.

We said goodbye to our 12 year old Jack Russell Toby on 12th October. We had been not expecting to put him down as he had a cough and we had hoped it was treatable but we found out he had fluid on the lungs and tumours.We didn't want to rush to make the decision as we always said we wanted to do it at home. We had planned for the Monday with our vets to come round but Toby took a turn for worse on Friday and we nearly did it then but in the evening he helped us make the sad decision to it on Saturday and not make him wait or suffer for us. We struggled to get a vet to come out as it was a weekend and we booked to go into vets which we didn't want as Toby was so scared of the vets and we didn't want his final moments to be afraid.Thank goodness just before the appt. a Google advert appeared for. Cloud9 Vets when I was looking online - they responded so quickly to our request.Jaqui (Jack) was absolutely amazing, she made the whole process peaceful, calm and made us feel the comfort and reassurance we needed at this sad time.Toby died peacefully in his bed with us by him as we cuddled and kissed him a lot and helped us wrap him in his blanket and bed as we said our goodbyes.You helped give us a dignified way to say goodbye to Toby that we always wanted and gave us the reassurance and relief that we were doing the right thing for him and that he wasn't in pain anymore and that we could start the closure on what was a painful week and decision for us.Thank you so much for helping us with Toby, you were the best - we really won't forget it x

Cloud 9 vets were very understanding in our moment of need. There was a little mishap but was sorted on the day and our beloved Waggie was put to sleep by a wonderful man (Nacho?). Making the decision to have our beloved cat, Ash, put down was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, but we are incredibly grateful to Amber and Andrea for making the experience just a bit easier. Through the ordeal they were both professional and compassionate. The entire procedures was explained clearly beforehand, and when the time came for Ash to be put to sleep it was done in his own home, respectfully and with a minimum of stress. We never felt rushed during the ordeal and took as long as we needed to say our goodbyes. The body was taken away following the procedure and the cremation was handled directly through Cloud 9 with no fuss. We highly recommend Cloud 9 Vets,and found their services to be invaluable during a very difficult time. Thank you very much for the work you do.

I required the services of Cloud 9 Vets today to say good bye to my cat, Milo, after a very quick decline in his health. From my first call to them this morning, to the vet caring for our boy in his last moments to the kind gentleman from the crematorium who came to collect his body, I am overwhelmed with gratitude at the way every element of this heartbreaking situation has been handled. Not just a display of professionalism, but empathy and understanding were shown by all involved. I would recommend Cloud 9 Vets to anyone in a heartbeat who may have to make the devastating decision to say goodbye to their much loved pets.

I would like to thank everyone from Cloud 9 Vets. They are caring and sensitive. Unfortunately we had to put our cat Cleo asleep as her tumour had spread and she couldn't breathe. The vet was wonderful and sent us a lovely card confirming we had done the right and kindest thing for her. The whole process including cremation was very efficient and smooth and made a very sad day a lot easier for us. I would highly recommend them.

Losing my dog Toby was heartbreaking but the care I got was absolutely fantastic. The vet put Toby at

Had to have my 16 year old labrador euthanized today. Rang cloud 9 up, very nice lady on the phone, explained everything. Vet came to my house, gave us time with kizzy, no rushing, explained what the steps were. Kizzy passed peacefully. Thank you very much x

I wanted to thank you so much for your help giving Fluffy the most peaceful end possible. In particular I’d like to thank Laura who came to my flat at short notice to help Fluffy. I was impressed by her gentle, pragmatic approach, taking care to explain every step of the process. The tenderness and respect she showed towards Fluff throughout was incredibly moving. He was given the end he deserved and I thank Laura from the bottom of my heart.
