Care Co-Ordinator

Our Vacancy for Care Co-Ordinators is currently closed. Thank you for your interest in working with Cloud 9 Vets.

Cloud 9 Vets is a caring, compassionate nationwide service which focuses exclusively on at-home gentle pet euthanasia. At Cloud 9 Vets, we have very special people delivering extraordinary service in a dedicated and compassionate manner seven days a week.

Do you think you would be able to provide that service in a calm, empathetic and professional way?

Personal profile

We are looking for animal lovers for the important and indispensable role of Care Coordinator. A Care Coordinator does not need veterinary experience but the qualities of sensitivity, emotional maturity, the ability to listen and to respond in a compassionate manner together with excellent organisational skills are absolute essentials. We do not rush our callers but we do need to help and support them in a timely manner.

Being a Care Coordinator means being passionate and dedicated about what we do, taking time to listen and to gently gather as much relevant information as possible about the pet in the autumn of their life. Talking to emotional pet owners contemplating the imminent passing of a loved pet companion can be very emotionally demanding for a Care Coordinator, however helping pet families say goodbye to their beloved pets in the secure and familiar environment of their own home can be very rewarding .

Why work with us?

Our Care Coordinator role is self-employed, working from home or anywhere you wish and completely flexible; we suggest that a minimum of 20 hours per week between the hours of 7am - 8pm, would be appropriate. In return we offer an hourly rate of £15/hour.

You will receive full training, which takes place remotely and you will become member of a friendly and supportive team.

What do I do next?
