Testimonials from Lovely Clients about Our Caring Home Visit Vets
Thank you cloud 9
Vet visits were always stressful for her, so being here was very important to us.
We couldn’t fault the way Faye looked after Ruby and us in what is the worst part of owning a dog.
Also very impressed with the service from the pet crematorium, who delivered Ruby’s ashes back to us in 5 days.
Would highly recommend.
Jennifer and Laura (or Lauren!) that I spoke to were lovely, reassuring me that everything would be OK.
Roshni, our allocated vet, was amazing.
We cannot thank her enough for making Remi's journey peaceful.
Thankyou for making a very difficult decision so much easier.
Our boy passed away under his table in the garden peacefully on the evening of 19th August 2021.
Sleep well and play hard Remi the Remster!
Andrea was there when , getting our old girl to the vets when her back legs had gone was near to impossible. Nothing but compassionate and caring. Andrea was so gentle & informative, we really appreciate him & the job he does he gave our girl her dignity on her last day. We got her on her spot on the couch Andrea gave us as much time as we needed & then she fell asleep calm (not frantically panting..she hated vets) at home with mum & dad! Without Cloud9 vets her last day would of been an ordeal for her.
I’m so so very thankful to them for allowing my baby to pass in her home on her bed. Our 13 yo American Bulldog is now at peace with the help of Cloud9! Service over the phone was fantastic also! Great customer service all round but to sum up they are for the animals! …. allowing them dignity in their final moments. What amazing people- thank you Andrea!
Charis is the amazing vet who made everything for Stan and the family peaceful and was happy to listen to stories about our boy. I could not have wished for a better send off for Stan, nothing was a problem for Charis and I will be eternally grateful for her help.
Cloud 9 … you were amazing … organised everything and even went above and beyond with it being a Sunday !
Henry ( the vet) was wonderful , he explained everything, gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye and treated Alfie with the respect he deserved.
Henry , Cloud 9 and Kings Hill Pet Crematorium you made a truly sad event bearable and for that we will always be grateful. 🐶🐾
I have no hesitation in recommending the service to anyone who loves their pet xxx
I just wanted to write this to show our appreciation and to thank you. X
thank you so much.
We will be eternally grateful
The McGroarty family
We had Faye come to our house and she was wonderful with us and Mia. She made what was a heartbreaking time for us all, kind caring and stress free for Mia, we can’t thank her enough and I would highly recommend Cloud 9 vets when sadly the time comes to say goodbye to your special furry friend.
Andrew and Naomi x
Made a challenging , hard , sad time the best it could be . Will be forever thankful for the help and organisation we had with saying goodbye to our 17 year old dog 🐾
We wanted him to be in his home surrounded by the people who loved him.
The vet Rachel, who attended, was full of empathy, whilst remaining professional. She explained the process to us, and we weren’t rushed to say our goodbyes. It was such a peaceful end and we cannot thank you enough for your personal service.
We booked cloud 9 and it was all very easy to do
The vet came and gently explained how the next hour would go, so we laid Taya down and I put soft music on for her.
Everything went so smoothly, she fell asleep in my arms, I had all the time in the world to let her go off softly with no fear.
Then she was placed gently in a bed and I tucked her in, taken out to the car where I gave her her last kiss and off she went
My son was able to give her a goodbye kiss too
I feel it gave us closure and gave Taya a dignified death in her own surroundings held by someone who loved her I couldn’t have asked for more
She was my best friend, my companion, my world.
It was the most difficult decision I had to make.
I would like to say thank you to Andrea who was so compassionate and treated our Lulu with upmost respect till the end. Thank you to Cloud 9 team for being so understanding and supportive.
The experience has made her passing more acceptable to us..... Thank you
From the initial call to make arrangements they were compassionate, kind, informative and extremely helpful.
They were originally going to ask Samuel to come to us, but we mentioned that Tyler did not like males (he was a typical nervous protective German Shepherd cross) and we would prefer a female they tried all they could to arrange this but unfortunately no females were available.
Samuel kindly attended at 4:45pm, and right from the start his compassion, thoughtfulness and kindness shone through. He briefed us in the garden on what was going to happen and never rushed us or Tyler at all, constantly reassuring us that if we had any questions we just needed to ask. At each stage of the process he kept us fully informed, allowing us time to say our goodbyes in as much time as we needed. Samuel had a lovely soft and gentle nature and his presence was reassuring throughout the entire process.
We really couldn't have asked for a more peaceful send off for our beloved boy, who was brave in his fight against his cancer right until the very final day.
We would highly recommend Cloud 9 Vets and in particular Samuel to anyone who unfortunately finds themselves in the same sad situation.
thank you for helping Mollie on her final journey x😓💜
Cloud 9 allowed my beautiful girl to be put to rest whilst she was sound asleep, snuggled in my arms, in our home and I will be forever grateful for that.
Samuel, the vet, was kind and caring. He explained everything that would happen, gave us time with our girl and then re-explained everything as it happened. Samuel is a real credit to Cloud 9 ⭐️ Thank you for such a professional and compassionate service.
I would not hesitate to recommend Cloud 9 Vets if you are facing the heartbreaking decision as I did to say goodbye to your beloved pet.
I was so relieved to be with my 16yr old cat Charlie in the safety and comfort of our home, and not have to go through the stress of a car journey to the vets, and more especially during the Covid restrictions.
Nacho was so caring and compassionate. He explained everything in an unhurried way. He gave my boy the dignity and love he deserved. He was on his bed and our final goodbye was so special. Thank you Cloud 9 Vets for your organisation. Thank you so much Nacho, I’ll never forget your kindness. A kiss from Charlie to you x
I would wholeheartedly recommend this service to anyone facing the difficult decision of helping a much loved pet on their journey.
As Pongo had Suddenly deteriorated on Monday 1st March i telephone cloud 9 vets which I wasn’t even sure I would be able to talk about however immediately after speaking with Vicky she made me feel at ease, she explained everything & told us who the local pet cremation company were which she also spoke to these to make sure they could come afterwards, we arranged a time etc. To be honest after the phone call I couldn’t stop thinking about that day approaching but we left it for 3 days so we could spend more time with them but when that day came Pongo was terrible on his legs.
Friday 5th March had arrived & Sandy the vet arrived, he was lovely, came in to see them both lying on there favourite place in the house- the sofa, no one could ever get a seat in our house, he talked to them, he was so compassionate & understanding, he explained what was going to happen, he gave them there first injection where they would go to sleep & at this point was the best time to say our goodbyes, it was heartbreaking, they were both licking our faces, we could not stop crying but know it was the best thing to let them go together as they both had there problems & one would never be the same without the other one, after spending about 10 mins they peacefully went to sleep & looked at peace & without pain, Sandy then administered the final injections, I honestly thought at that point I was going to be sick. Sandy left after this & we got to spend another half hour with them just looking at them, cuddling them until the cremation company arrived.
I cannot recommend cloud 9 vets enough for arranging a vet to come to our home to make this stress free for our lovely pets, they are professional from start to finish, it was the best thing we could have done for them & deserved a peaceful farewell, we will never forget them & still heartbroken 😢😢 but so glad we found cloud 9 vets as our own vets would not come to our house.
Please can you pass this onto Sandy as we were in such a state that we would like to thank him personally for all his kindness ❤️
Samuel, the vet assigned to the euthanasia was wonderfully kind and gentle in his actions and words at this sad time of having my 18yr old cat Worzel euthanized 9/3/21 - it was a very peaceful passing, I couldnt have asked for more compassion from them.
It was wonderful to find these vets in these corona times, who were willing to come to my home, when sadly, most vets will not.
Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟
Vicky was very professional and very helpful with organisation everything what we needed. And Zoi seriously is Angel Woman who keep hand on a pulse 💗I'm so really grateful to make finded that's professional help, when I lost my hope with last our life our beloved Nero 💗 Thank you ❤️🐺🐾
Sam came to our home, talked us through everything and Max died peacefully in my arms. He was totally chilled, in familiar surroundings, with those who loved him.
We will he eternally grateful to cloud nine for offering this service and to Sam for coming into our home (despite the pandemic) and helping make a very difficult day less difficult.
She is now buried in our garden, we and even had a rainbow appear over the garden for her.
calming efficiency got us sorted when we were at our lowest and got us through a tough and hard time
I would highly recommend cloud 9 to anyone facing this difficult decision.
If you need to say goodbye to a cherished pet at home, please look no further, this was the best decision we could have made.
Would highly recommended to anyone in the same situation, made everyone feel at ease and explained everything, just amazing people
We had our sick 10 year old German Shepherd put to sleep Wednesday 16.12.20.
The Cloud 9 vet was very professional, caring and understanding of our grief.
We spent time with Kody as the procedure was done and after he fell asleep.
Thank you Cloud 9 for your loving help, and to help us with our grief.
John Mc Donald
He explained everything and we decided the garden was a peaceful place to do it as Mojo loved his garden!!!
We were not rushed, time and care was taken and he went peacefully under his favourite tree.
Andrea took time and care with him wrapping him in the biggest fluffy blanket to take him to the crematorium.
The after care aswell is second to none, a little card arrived a few days later which is next to him under the tv.
If I could advise anyone in this position Cloud 9 are amazing!!!!
When I had made the decision to have your service at home, it made things much easier.
Thank you to Andreas who showed great compassion and dignity when dealing with us and my beautiful cat.
I'm really really grateful for your service
We knew that if he quickly made a turn for the worse and we had to take him to his ordinary vet (which makes him anxious even on a good day), we would not be able to go in with him (due to Covid-19) and he would be all alone during his final moments. This is when we found and got in touch with Cloud 9 Vets. Making the call was itself daunting, however Amber at Cloud 9 put us at ease. She was comforting and empathetic, and was able to answer all our questions, big and small. She booked a local vet, Punit, to come around the following day at a time which suited us best. We also booked an individual cremation.
The morning of was difficult as we knew it was out final few hours with our baby, and we were anxious about the whole procedure, despite how much Amber has alleviated our worries. We pampered him, offered him all his favourite treats (he unfortunately wasnt interested in eating by this point) and got him tucked up all comfy with his favourite blankies. We all sat around him and said our goodbyes.
Punit turned up exactly on time, introduced himself and explained what he would be doing step by step. Once we were ready he very calmly administered the sedative. Being a large dog, it took a while to kick in. We all sat around and shared happy stories about his long life with us until he was peacefully asleep. Punit did not rush us in any way, gave us space and encouraged us to take as much time as we need with him before he administered the second injection. We all said our final goodbyes, gave him lots of kisses and prayed as a family for him to rest in peace. He passed so peacefully, just like he had drifted into a deep sleep. No twinges, no sounds, nothing scary. We cried and let out our feelings only after he had passed, ensuring his final memories were of normality; his family sitting around him giving him love.
The crematorium came around 20 minutes later to collect his body. We were able to follow our religious tradition which requires certain items to be cremated with the body. The undertaker was very understanding of our wishes and ensured things were done just as we asked. His ashes were returned to us 4 days later as promised.
Although this has been a heartbreaking time for us, we felt a surprising sense or relief and comfort in knowing that we gave our darling dog the most compassionate and peaceful send off, in the comfort of his own home. Overall the entire experience with Cloud 9 Vets was faultless and made such a difficult time of our lives more bearable. In hindsight, we feel like we made the right decision for our dog, at the right time.
We would highly recommend the service to anyone facing the unthinkable decision to put their beloved pet to sleep. It is the most heart-wrenching kindness we can offer, for their lifetime of love and loyalty.
We would like to offer our upmost gratitude to Punit for being incredibly compassionate in performing the service. We are so thankful you were sent to us at our time of need.
Thank you once again Elaine Mcdonald
The service we received from the cloud 9 vet who attended our home was amazing at what was an extremely emotional and distressing time. The care and compassion towards our dog, it was as if it was his own, exactly what was needed and this compassion extended to our family which my mum was extremely grateful for. Especially during the strange times of COVID-19.
It was more appreciated as our regular vets had refused to come out for home visit, even after we had explained that the dog hated cars, he couldn’t at that time stand up and was crying all this was explained but still they wouldn’t attend after advertising 24/7 care with home visits.
My mum as deeply upset at the thought we would have to man handle our dog into a car and cause him further uncomfort/ and or distress.
It was a great relief to all when cloud 9 said you were able to attend the house without issue and we were most grateful and the vet had to travel some distance to get to us.
It was just what my mum needed and wanted everyone was able to say goodbye and she got to be with her fur- best friend til the end.
Once again a huge thank you to vet, Nacho
We made the difficult decision to call Cloud 9 Vets, and spoke to a lovely lady on the phone. Before the end of the day, she called us back, and she had managed to book a vet for the following day.
As you can imagine, being a parent to a fur baby, the anticipation throughout the day was a horrendous feeling for us and we were crying for most of the day. But we had a peaceful final day, at home, with our beautiful girl, sat giving cuddles, kisses and even sat out in the garden with her.
In the evening, a really lovely vet called Sam visited, and he was really calm and caring. He talked us through everything, step by step. Everything was done at our own speed and he gave us as much time as we needed to say our final goodbye without any rush. I held her in my arms throughout everything and she passed peacefully in my arms. Sam sat with us for a short while after, to make sure we were ok and spoke us through what may happen afterwards.
Thank you for allowing us to say goodbye to our baby girl in the comfort of our own home, without any stress.
Her tail did not stop wagging for a fuss right to the very end, (or for pepperami!) which was as perfect an end as I could have hoped for, at home, relaxed and happy to have me by her side as always. ❤️
A massive thank you goes out to Sophie of Cloud9Vets, for still offering a compassionate and peaceful euthanasia at home in these difficult times, this was early June and my heart was breaking considering the only options available our local vets.
Sophie’s empathy and strength made the whole experience easier to deal with and kept me strong and staying positive for Copper’s last moments.
I know you are resting in peace now my darling, you are forever a part of my heart.
On Sunday 21st June we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our beautiful German Shepard Cheavus to sleep. At nearly 14 years old we had suspected DM and the final stages came on quite suddenly. During the pandemic we didn’t think our wish for her (when the time came) to have our beautiful girl put to sleep at home would be possible but we found you. You truly are angels in disguise. In such a difficult time, Your empathy on the phone speaking to you through broken tears, even though you didn’t know us, we felt supported.
The lady who answered our cell provided a caring calm voice (I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name) and the selfless vet (Andrea if we remember correctly) went above and beyond to work an extra long day, to be with Cheavus and my partner and doing what was needed so Cheavus was no longer sad and unable to walk. In the home she knew, laying on the bed she loved…she passed away peacefully and the final memory of her going to sleep, my partner explained, was gentle as described…and we wholeheartedly thank them all.
The decision to euthanise is not one any human makes easily for their furry friend but to know there is a service out there where empathy and compassion is at every step, is truly heartwarming.
It’s not an easy thing they do and must be difficult for them all daily, but knowing they are helping animals and their owners in their time of need, I do hope brings them comfort.
I apologise for the long message but we want you to know that the passing of Cheavus has been made that little bit easier thanks to cloud 9 and their amazing people and vet.
Last week i had to make the hard decision to help my Shih Tzu Milo pass over the rainbow bridge. Due to the current Covid situation our own vets disappointingly were unable to assist with this and there was no way that i was going to hand Milo over to die alone away from those he loved, as they would not allow us in the surgery to be with him either. Thats when i called Cloud 9 for help, they were very understanding and sent James to perform the procedure which was done professionally and with dignity. Milo passed in my arms peacefully and James was so very caring and supportive. Thankyou so very much James for enabling me to give Milo a loving and dignified passing.
Milo was cremated and his ashes are now back home with us where he belongs, RIP my sweet beautiful boy xxx
From the 1st phone to call to the day when the vet came they where so kind and compassionate, they all made such a hard situation just that bit easier with there kind words and thoughtfulness, we felt under no pressure or rush to say goodbye to our beloved boy.
I would have no trouble highly recommending cloud 9 and would definitely use again when the time comes for my other pets
cannot fault in any way
will recommend at any chance i get.
i have not seen an easier passing, so much less stress
I called on Saturday afternoon and was so glad that Cloud 9 arranged everything so quickly especially as it is difficult organising things at weekends. They worked hard in the background arranging for the vet to visit at 10am on Sunday to put Erin to sleep and for the crematorium representative to arrive at 11am to take her away to be cremated.
All in all, this meant that Erin had as dignified and comfortable a passing as could be hoped for and we are so grateful to Cloud 9 Vets for arranging everything for us, leaving us free to grieve.
Everyone involved was so kind and sympathetic and I would not hesitate to recommend Cloud 9 Vets to anyone in a similar situation with their beloved pet.
Andreas who attended Belle was so caring and explained everything step by step. He gave us as much time as we needed with her in her final moments. He stepped back everytime with the current situation so we could be with her. Cannot thank him and Cloud 9 Vets enough for making this heartbreaking day go a little easier. I would also highly recommend for nervous dogs. My Belle was terrified of her own vets and the thought of having to take her there to be put to sleep and her be stressed in her final moments was too much for me to bear. Thank you so much.
When we got home, I looked up the website and I was so disappointed that we were out with their travel area, but I called them anyway. And I am so glad I did. It was such a relief to hear reassuring words that they were sure the vet would travel the extra miles. Within half an hour the confirmation came that they could help me. The relief that gave me allowed me to spend one last day with my girl without worry.
Even with Lockdown rules, my beautiful girl just slept away and I was so grateful for that and it gave me such peace and that cannot be bought! Charis’s gentle approach and good energy was such a blessing, a true empath to both animals and their humans. My heartfelt thanks to All at Cloud9 for the amazing work you do.
Thank you so much
Maddie passed away at home, peacefully, with her family around her. Shanice the vet was wonderful and caring and said she would stay for as long as she was needed.
I'm just so thankful that this service is available to help pets pass with dignity in their own home.
Thank you for giving Maddie the dignified peaceful passing she deserved. ❤️❤️

Cannot recommend enough .
We called in cloud 9 vets who provide a home service nationwide, this gave Feezil the dignity he deserved after being our loving friend for eighteen and a half years. The young man that came was amazing, very professional, compassionate, and he explained everything in great detail and how Feezil may react, he didn't rush and stayed for nearly half an hour until Feezil was resting.
was amazing and did everything he could for my leo .
Also comforted our family
its a big loss but paul made his last moments comfy
let us say our goodbyes as a family
also went above and beyond for us
10 out of 10
Thanks again for everything you did that day when no one else would 💚
We didn't want to rush to make the decision as we always said we wanted to do it at home. We had planned for Monday with out normal vets to come round but Toby took a turn for worse on Friday and we nearly did it then but in the evening he helped us make the sad decision to it on Saturday and not make him wait or suffer for us. We struggled to get a vet to come out as it was a weekend and we booked to go into vets which we didn't want as Toby was so scared of the vets.
Thank goodness just before the appt. a Google advert appeared for. Cloud9 Vets.
Jaqui (Jack) was absolutely amazing, she made the whole process peaceful, calm and made us feel the comfort and reassurance we needed at this sad time.
Toby died peacefully in his bed with us by him as we cuddled and kissed him a lot and helped us wrap him in his blanket and bed as we said our goodbyes.
You helped give us a dignified way to say goodbye to Toby that we always wanted and gave us the reassurance and relief that we were doing the right thing for him and that he wasn't in pain anymore and that we could start the closure on what was a painful week and decision for us.
Thank you so much for helping us with Toby, you were the best - we really won't forget it x
Our girl and us were all relaxed, everything was explained and we couldn’t have asked for more.
put Toby at ease and told me of everything he would be doing. Toby was very relaxed and in turn
turn that made me more relaxed. He had a very peaceful and dignified passing in his own
home. I would recommend Cloud 9 Vets to anybody, the service was the best.
Alan is amazing. He put my girl away so very gentle.
I recommend you to everyone that has to do this.
You have all been Hurley amazing in such a hard time.
Can't say thank you all enough
we had our Bailey euthanized at home and can't recommend the vet Allen enough...
he was great all the way through and made it such a personal comforting outcome to something that I've never even had the courage to do before by being there.
at his side..hugging him until he finally drifted off to sleep...thank you Amber and Allen...xxx❤
I would definitely recommend them . The vet Julie was so calming and talk to us every step of the way. Our other dog's had a chance to say goodbye to their friend.
She passed in her favourite place on the sofa. Surrounded by family and lots of love ...
Julie thank you for understanding and your kind words. This ment a lot to Nigel and I.
kind regards Debe.
We have experienced having to take Pets to the Vets to say goodbye before, which we have found so stressful for both our animals & us....but on Amber & Immas merits, we would recommend Cloud9 anytime to anyone. It obviously costs a little more to say “Goodbye” in the comfort of yours & your pets own home, but we think it was worth every single penny.
Sorry for such a long review, but I can’t praise Cloud9 enough. Once again, ”Thank You“ Amber & Imma, Love From Sue & Mac xxxx

Thank you everyone at Cloud 9 for making the difficult decision of putting to sleep our wonderful dog Marley. The 'is it time? 'checklist proved really helpful . The Vet Faye and aftercare Billy were both absolutely wonderful . Faye was so kind and compassionate, leaving plenty of space for goodbyes.
thank you all so much
I would just like to Thank everyone at Cloud9 for arranging my At-Home Gentle Euthansia for Ty I would also like to Thank Jack the vet who came he was very caring & considerate & compassionate and a true gentleman, my beloved Ty had the most stressless passing I could ever have wished for and I will be forever truly grateful for that Thankyou all once again and Thankyou Jack. With sincere thanks
Amena & Brian
We had made the decision that it was time to let our beloved 15 and a half-year-old Cairn, Keira go. Keira had always hated the vets, loved the vet but hated and was terrified of being there. Due to covid, it was not possible for our vet to come to our house. So we found Cloud 9.
I will be ever thankful that we found you. Sam came on Friday, and from start to finish was calm gentle and beyond everything we had hoped for. The process was exactly what we had wanted. No pain, no stress, Keira just gently left us. Afterwards, when the cremation people came Sam scooped Keira up in his arms and put her gently into a lovely wicker bed.
I cannot thank you enough for the care and compassion you showed us, it made a heartbreaking time a little easier. I would recommend Cloud 9 to anyone having to let their pets go...
Thank you to both the vet Sharon and the coordinator (apologies I did not get their name) who arranged to come out to see our beloved pet rabbit Monty.
He had deteriorated rapidly and we wanted him to be at home with us when he went to sleep. It made one of the hardest days of our lives a little easier knowing he was somewhere familiar with everyone who loved him around.
The vet was very kind and patient with us, and explained the process in a clear but gentle way. We are very grateful for your help.
From the moment Samuel walked into our home to help us through the final goodbyes with Nala, we knew we had made the right decision.
He was so gentle, sincere and explained every single step and how it we be for both us and Nala.
He gave us the space and time to hug her, cry and spend some time saying our last goodbyes.
An amazing man. Thank you
After having been let down by our own vet who was prepared to let our 13 yr old German Shepherd soldier on for what would have been 3 torturous days of unnecessary suffering before they could come out and do necessary - we reluctantly contacted Cloud9 thinking it would be impersonal and very clinical. How wrong could we have been.
Vicky who we spoke with on the phone was fantastic and extremely sympathetic to our cause. Jack the vet who came out was an absolute gentleman and made the whole process incredibly dignified. These are genuine practising vets who are there to genuinely help people struggling with these horrible but inevitable situations.
We can never thank Cloud9 enough for their professionalism and incredibly prompt service helping us give our beloved Kyla the dignified end she so deserved.
Anyone in doubt please don’t just pick up the phone - you won’t be disappointed. x
On Saturday 31st July we said goodbye to Big Trev, our eldest basset hound. We knew we wanted him to leave us in the comfort of his own home, Cloud 9 were able to provide this service. From the initial phone call, to Faye (vet) and Jamie (cremation services) their professionalism, understanding and empathy was measured and settling. We opted to have Big Trev put to rest in his favourite place, the bed upstairs and this was no problem. My husband carried him down and out to the van , and throughout their was just total respect. Highly recommend the services of cloud 9. Thank you xx
We didn’t want our little Lady to face the trauma of going to the vet and the stress of taking her for us. We found cloud 9 vets on the internet and decided this is the best possible outcome for Lady and for us.
David the vet was very kind and compassionate and Lady had a stress free and dignified passing. She was 17.5 years old.
Thanks to Faye from Cloud9 who came to the house to help our cat pass so gently from his pain and suffering. Everything Cloud9 say about their service is absolutely true, the vet took time to calm Tiscat and us, took time to explain everything very clearly, was so gentle and kind, and very respectful.
I called Cloud 9 Vets after my own vet's would not come to the house due to Covid, it was one of the hardest and heartbreaking calls I have ever had to make but unfortunately my 12 year old Beagle, Beuley slipped two discs last July and had to have major surgery as that was his only chance of recovery and considering he could not walk when he came home, he did amazing but nearly a year later he had plateaued and then very quickly went downhill.
Elizabeth answered my call and when I tried to speak I couldn't through the tears, I was told to take my time, she was softly spoken, we talked, she asked me questions and took down all my details including when I would be available for the vet to come out. She called me back very quickly with a time that the vet would come on July 16th and then the time of the crematorium.
Faye came to my house, she was very compassionate and caring, she sat with Beuley, we talked and then she explained the procedure, there was no rush, she said to take my time until I was ready, she then sedated Beuley who just looked and sounded asleep and then she put him to sleep, it was all done really lovely and I was with him the whole time, telling him that he was a good boy and mummy loved him.
The man from the crematorium then turned up and was just as compassionate asking how I wanted him to lie in the basket he had bought in and if that is how he would normally lie. I went out to the van with him to have a final cuddle and goodbye.
I would highly recommend Cloud 9 Vets to anyone, it was all very smooth from to to finish with nothing but professional caring people.
Cloud 9's services were amazing. We spoke to Vicki on the phone and she helped us through the decisions with warmth and compassion, explaining things clearly.
Faye then came to our home and from the beginning was incredible. She understood exactly what we were going through and made the whole process as comfortable as possible.
Cloud 9's tailored services are everything you could hope for in such a difficult time.
I would like to thank Jennifer, Kate and especially Melanie for their care and compassion at this sad time. Bob, our Schnauzer, was very special to us and thanks to Melanie, his passing was gentle and dignified.
After speaking with Chris regarding our Staffie Teddy we made the heartbreaking choice and put his needs first, Chris was brilliant as I continued to blubber my way through the call, and on the day I couldn't of asked for a more caring vet "Faye" to come and help my baby on his way. My Teddy went with dignity and love to a better place. To say i'm grateful is an understatement but all I can muster is a huge thank you ...Sally
From start to finish the service Cloud 9 offer is uniquely special! From speaking to Kate on the phone, who was lovely to the vet Galina who I cannot thank enough for the time, explaining everything and her compassion. I never realised this kind of service existed and you had to use your vet…I would recommend that you use this service….it was simply heartbreaking yet comforting!
Euthanasia shouldn't be a hard decision when our beloved furry family members are suffering beyond any recovery. But it always is. I am so sorry for those who choose to do this and then have a painful experience because it doesn't go just right. What is perfect anyway?
We had a mentally damaged stray that we tried to rehabilitate for a year. He then took off out of confusion at the first opportunity (3 weeks in) after a move to the country .We searched for ten days in strange territory. He was spotted in another village, totally lost, starving and tick ridden. It was a losing battle for many reasons.
After an extremely hard decision, I found Cloud Nine so that at least he didn't have to have the trauma of another car ride and a visit to the vet. He was almost feral and skeletal when he came to us, so humans terrified him. Amber was very kind and helpful. She described what may happen and I felt prepared.
Contrary to my fears because he was so complex, Georgie had a gentle passing. Janet the vet, who arrived on time, gave us some medication to relax him and he was also high on catnip which always got him drowsy as well. Janet was very unobtrusive, allowing me to hold him facing away from her, lying on the carpet. She got down on her knees. He didn't see her at all. There was no talking between us. That was arranged prior to the visit. I cradled him from behind so that he had space , and talked gently to him.He really just sank against my arms from a lying position on the carpet. Very peaceful.
Janet was quiet, very professional and I appreciated her smiles in the way that they spoke where words couldn't reach at that time.
All I could wish for is that others might really consider the good possibility that this would be so much better for them and their pet if they are fortunate enough to be able to take advantage of this kind service. Obviously each case is unique. I certainly didn't think there was a money incentive over the compassion of service that avoids any extra trauma of the normal route of euthanasia. It has taken me a year to write this review. The year's experience prior, with such a damaged cat whom we failed to pull back from permanent scarring, has taken this long to get over enough to think about what happened. Thankyou Cloud Nine.
We had to make the heartbreaking decision to say our final goodbye to our beautiful boy Malcolm last week. Faye (the Vet) was absolutely fantastic! was so caring with Malcolm and allowed us time to make it the best ending it could be for us and our dog.
Faye thank you so much for being so compassioned. You made a painful experience bearable.
I would highly recommend Cloud 9.
Thank you so much to all the team especially Belinda who sorted out a vet when one was not easily available. I could not have wished for a more peaceful end for my beloved Oscar, we will never forget the time we had with him at the end x
Thank you so much for making his final journey to stress free and peaceful x
Unfortunately we had to have our beloved cat Rosie euthanised and Sophie made the experience as comfortable as possible for Rosie and us. Would recommend 100% ,great service from Vanessa and Sophie
We wanted to say a big thank you to Cloud 9 Vets for kind loving care towards our dear Chocolate Labrador Megan. Making the call to Cloud 9 in the morning was such a difficult decision. Belinda was very supportive on initial call to vets, Faye our vet was wonderful with Megan and looked after her with tender loving care. She also talked us though the process so we had understanding of everything that happened. The compassion showed by the team at a difficult time was so supportive to us. I would definitely recommend Cloud 9 Vets to anyone wanting that 1-1 and understanding at a sad time.
Thank you Kim & Robin Bendall
Henry came to us last night. He was wonderful, kind, compassionate, telling us everything, calm. Never rushed. I cannot recommend cloud9 and Henry enough. Duke was calm and chilled and passed peacefully with all his loved ones around him. Thank you
My heart is still breaking after losing our precious girl Gracie just two weeks off her 15th Birthday. My shadow and my soul mate. The time was right for her to go and I know she was trying to tell me. Gracie lived a fabulous live with my family growing up as part of our team. Gracie played football, adored the trampoline when my sons were young and loved cricket. Gracie wa even the rugby club mascot. We brought her home with the four of us and now we had five in our family. Thursday night four of us had the privelege to all be together to say goodbye. The service from Cloud 9 was caring and sensitive and they juggled to make the time right for us as my son was going away. Faye was amazing - she took the time to get to know Gracie and our family and sat with us on the floor for some time stroaking and getting to know her. When the time was right Gracie took herself to her bed. Faye was gentle through every step. Aware of the sensitivity and allowed us to cry and grieve together. It was if it could be absolutely beautiful and Gracie passed away peacefully. The cremation company also deserve a mention as when she was picked up I was allowed to wrap her in her own blankets, She had her sparkly pink collar on, was taken away with some of her toys and we lay a white rose on her bed. The four of us walked her to the car and said our goodbyes. Gracie we love you and will never forget you. Faye and the team you were all so caring, passionate and understanding of Gracie's needs and ours as a family - for that thank you for making it so peaceful for her. She wasnt worried and went to sleep soundly in her favourite spot. Now Gracie go and enjoy your long sleep xxxxxxx
Thank you so much for making the passing of our beloved dog Toby so peaceful. Toby was put to sleep in his own home by a lovely Vet called Sam. Sam was patient, understanding and caring. It made a very hard day a little bit easier. Thankyou Sam.
I would like to say a grateful thank you to the team at Cloud 9, everyone from the girls who took my calls to make the arrangements for my Buddy any to the vet, all of whom showed great compassion.
They made a truly difficult time easier and manageable. Thank you.
We had to make the Heartbreaking decision to send our precious German shepherd faolan to rainbow Bridge one week ago. We choose cloud 9 as we wanted faolan to pass at home with us peacefully . Charis the vet attended from start to finish she was fabulous, so kind and patient there was no rush, charis made
an exceptionally hard time that wee bit easier. So thank you.
Calling cloud 9 vets was one of the hardest decisions i ever had to make. But i new the time had come to let our beloved family member (lily the dog) go. From the first phone call they were professional and comforting. Explaining the process and prices with empathy and patience. They did everything to get the date best for our family to be there which meant everything to us.
Our vet came on time and from the moment she came in she was amazing. So friendly. Giving our lily lots of fuss and explaining what will happen with again empathy and care. She delivered the first injection to help our lily go off into a deep sleep giving us time with her as she drifted off before coming back for the final injection. She was so patient and empathetic. Making sure we were all ready for what was to come.
After it was over she was so lovely. Letting us know she had passed and helping us cover her with her favorite blanket. I can honesty not praise the vet enough.
Before she left she made sure we were ok and advised us the Crematorium would arrive soon. We had about 15 minutes to say our final goodbyes before the crem turned up. Again he was lovely empathetic and treated lily with respect when taking her away. Lifting her with care and placing her in a lovely blanketed cage before letting us say a final goodbye.
The whole process was very well arranged and treated our family and beloved lily with care and respect. I cannot recommend this service enough. It enabled us to say goodbye to our lily where she was surrounded by her family and calm/ happy in her own space. Taking away the traumatic vet trip we all wanted to avoid.
On behalf of myself, lily and our family. Thank you so much. We cannot express our gratitude for all of your care today.
Andrea explained everything that was going to happen, it was so calm and peaceful. A gentle end and final goodbye to my friend of 15 years.
I cannot thank Henry enough. He allowed us to say goodbye to Bert, our beautiful Great Dane, with dignity and respect. Henry was very professional and patient. Thank you so much . You gave our Bert a good passing.
We had to have our 15 year old furbaby put to sleep. Our vet would not come out. Having called other vets. I was given the number of cloud 9 Vets. The vet who came was called Charis and she was so kind and calm and reassuring as we were so upset. My dog wasn't aware of anything and she passed so peacefully and with dignity and no stress. Charis was so gentle with her the whole time. She gave us privacy and time to say goodbye. She didn't rush us. She made the awful situation easier with her kind words and reassurance. Cloud 9 also organised the cremation service and the girl who came from them was also the same. She was so gentle with our girls body. You could see she was an animal lover. She was also reassuring that they would be kind and look after her for us. I felt she was so genuine. When they brought back her ashes. They had put a wee candle in the bag. A wee pink ribbon with her name. They put a plaque on the scatter tube. They gave us a certificate of individual cremation which reassured us. And they had also taken a clipping of her hair and put it in a wee pocket to put a photo in. Its the wee things that are important. I cannot recommend this service enough. From the initial call to having her ashes returned we felt we were treated with sensitivity, kindness and compassion. Thank you so much for helping make this horrendous situation bearable giving us time to grieve knowing our girl got a gentle passing.
