I cant thank cloud 9 vets enough for being so kind and understanding today when Andrea the vet came to my home to help me say good bye to my 14 year old fur baby in such a peaceful way my steel bobs drifted off to sleep in his favourite chair watching out the window as he has always done.xx

It must have been fate that the only vets we could get hold of this morning was yourselves. The service was caring and compassionate right from the lovely lady who answered the phone to Andrea the vet who came to the house. Candy, our beloved rescue dog of 16 years was treated with such dignity even when she had passed . And they were both so patient with us even though we were an absolute mess. Thank you so much Cloud 9 xxx

I cannot recommend Cloud Nine vets enough for their kindness, compassion and professionalism. Andrea came to our home exactly when expected, explained everything thoroughly and did not rush us. While advising us, he did not try to direct us to a decision we weren't happy with. He is also a very skilled and caring vet. My dog Daisy did not even wake up during the procedure and passed peacefully. I have had a different experience at another vets and this couldn't have been any better. Sadly not even all humans have a 'good death', but when there is only one last thing you can do for your beloved pet, then Cloud Nine are the very best people to help. Thank you.

We had Jose come over and he was on time and very empathetic. Dealt with our dog sympathetically and also arranged for the cremation people to turn up soon after he left. Very efficient service and made it less of a sad time for us, would highly recommend. Regards

I would like to thank Cloud 9 Vets as today my 12year old German Shepherd Rex who was suffering with old age and no longer had a quality of life was put to sleep in the comfort of his own home. I would like to thank Elizabeth who was my first point of contact and arranged everything and a massive thank you to Andrea the vet who from the outset made the situation calming and acted with dignity and professionalism throughout. He explained everything step by step and nothing was rushed. I thank you as it was the way the family wanted him to go peacefully and in familiar surroundings. Thank you so much x

I was hesitant at first to use a vet from internet and not our normal vetinary practice, but couldn’t face saying goodbye to my fur baby in the car in the car park of the surgery (because of COVID).The vet from cloud nine John was a absolute godsend, he explained everything from start to finish, didn’t rush us,and made the process the best it could have been.I have no hesitation in recommending cloud nine to anyone.

I have to say a really big thank you to Cloud 9 vets, especially Charis. I really can not recommend this company enough. From calling them to having Charis come to our home was hassle free. We sadly had to let our 10 year old Boxer Milly grow her angel wings on 15/08/2020 and couldn’t bare the thought of letting her go in the vets as she has always been scared to go. Although it’s absolutely heart breaking losing your fur baby, having Charis come into our home made things much more relaxing for Milly and I honestly wouldn’t have done things any other way.Charis, if you are reading this - Thank you.

Making the decision to put our beloved dog of 14 years to sleep was the hardest one we have had to make. He was diagnosed with kidney disease and fought hard for 3 years, until he was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure a few weeks ago. We had hoped he would pass naturally to spare us making the unthinkable decision, however it got to the point where his quality of life had completely deteriorated and waiting any longer would only have seen him endure real suffering and loss of dignity. We kept battling with when would be the right time. Although we knew he had no fight left in him we kept seeing little glimmers of his old self each day which made the decision so much harder. How could we “choose” to say goodbye to a member of our family? Was keeping him around selfish and only for our benefit? Was he ready to say goodbye, would he give us some kind of sign?

We knew that if he quickly made a turn for the worse and we had to take him to his ordinary vet (which makes him anxious even on a good day), we would not be able to go in with him (due to Covid-19) and he would be all alone during his final moments. This is when we found and got in touch with Cloud 9 Vets. Making the call was itself daunting, however Amber at Cloud 9 put us at ease. She was comforting and empathetic, and was able to answer all our questions, big and small. She booked a local vet, Punit, to come around the following day at a time which suited us best. We also booked an individual cremation.

The morning of was difficult as we knew it was out final few hours with our baby, and we were anxious about the whole procedure, despite how much Amber has alleviated our worries. We pampered him, offered him all his favourite treats (he unfortunately wasnt interested in eating by this point) and got him tucked up all comfy with his favourite blankies. We all sat around him and said our goodbyes.

Punit turned up exactly on time, introduced himself and explained what he would be doing step by step. Once we were ready he very calmly administered the sedative. Being a large dog, it took a while to kick in. We all sat around and shared happy stories about his long life with us until he was peacefully asleep. Punit did not rush us in any way, gave us space and encouraged us to take as much time as we need with him before he administered the second injection. We all said our final goodbyes, gave him lots of kisses and prayed as a family for him to rest in peace. He passed so peacefully, just like he had drifted into a deep sleep. No twinges, no sounds, nothing scary. We cried and let out our feelings only after he had passed, ensuring his final memories were of normality; his family sitting around him giving him love.

The crematorium came around 20 minutes later to collect his body. We were able to follow our religious tradition which requires certain items to be cremated with the body. The undertaker was very understanding of our wishes and ensured things were done just as we asked. His ashes were returned to us 4 days later as promised.

Although this has been a heartbreaking time for us, we felt a surprising sense or relief and comfort in knowing that we gave our darling dog the most compassionate and peaceful send off, in the comfort of his own home. Overall the entire experience with Cloud 9 Vets was faultless and made such a difficult time of our lives more bearable. In hindsight, we feel like we made the right decision for our dog, at the right time.

We would highly recommend the service to anyone facing the unthinkable decision to put their beloved pet to sleep. It is the most heart-wrenching kindness we can offer, for their lifetime of love and loyalty.

We would like to offer our upmost gratitude to Punit for being incredibly compassionate in performing the service. We are so thankful you were sent to us at our time of need.

From the moment I contacted Cloud 9 vets, I knew i was talking to the most caring, compassionate team & I could focus on my Harley & saying my goodbye, whilst Lizbeth made all the arrangements. From the stressful situation of my own vets not coming out, finally I could breathe. The most amazing vet Nacho came. Harley checked him out & then curled up in his bed, totally relaxed & went to sleep...confirming to me that he was ready & he approved of Nacho. The care & compassion from that guy, I have never known. Such a calm, peaceful & oddly perfect goodbye. Perfectly timed with the cremation people arriving, showing the same care for my beloved Harley as Nacho had. He was brought home to me within days. The same care & compassion shown. I am so very very grateful that I found cloud 9 vets & will be passing on details to all my pet loving friends, so when the time comes, they can have the peace I now have. Thank you so very much x

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to my baby Dylan. Our own vets still have a closed door policy but I wanted to be with him of course and so I was relieved when we found Cloud 9 Vets. Dylan was very poorly and they came out the next day. The vet who came to us, Andrea, was so kind, caring and compassionate - he treated Dylan with the utmost respect and dignity as he deserved and I couldn't have asked for more. Dylan hated vets but instantly warmed to Andrea and obviously knew that he was a kindred spirit. Thank you so much for helping Dylan to pass peacefully and without suffering with us there, surrounded by love in his last moments. It means everything to me and made the hardest day of my life slightly easier x

We recently had to make the extremely hard decision to put our elderly dog to sleep.

The service we received from the cloud 9 vet who attended our home was amazing at what was an extremely emotional and distressing time. The care and compassion towards our dog, it was as if it was his own, exactly what was needed and this compassion extended to our family which my mum was extremely grateful for. Especially during the strange times of COVID-19.

It was more appreciated as our regular vets had refused to come out for home visit, even after we had explained that the dog hated cars, he couldn’t at that time stand up and was crying all this was explained but still they wouldn’t attend after advertising 24/7 care with home visits.

My mum as deeply upset at the thought we would have to man handle our dog into a car and cause him further uncomfort/ and or distress.

It was a great relief to all when cloud 9 said you were able to attend the house without issue and we were most grateful and the vet had to travel some distance to get to us.

It was just what my mum needed and wanted everyone was able to say goodbye and she got to be with her fur- best friend til the end.

Once again a huge thank you to vet, Nacho

I’m really glad I chose this route when I knew it was time to let my very loved cat saffi go, very sad day and I’m still grieving this loss but for something so heartbreaking it really couldn’t have gone any better, saffi didn’t have to leave the home she loved so much, the vet was brilliant - sensitive and kind and also made the whole thing as comfortable as possible for me and for saffi too- I don’t really have all the words but I’m grateful to cloud 9 vets and I’m so glad I did it this way, it made such a difference - and my other two cats also got to say goodbye. Thank you to Sophie the vet and to the cloud 9 team

We made the heartbreaking decision to have our beautiful 20 year old cat put to sleep at home yesterday. 4 years ago she was diagnosed with terminal cancer and dementia. Over the past 2 weeks, she became really ill and we refused to let her go to our usual vet to be put to sleep without us being allowed with her. She was born with us and she would pass away with us holding her.

We made the difficult decision to call Cloud 9 Vets, and spoke to a lovely lady on the phone. Before the end of the day, she called us back, and she had managed to book a vet for the following day.

As you can imagine, being a parent to a fur baby, the anticipation throughout the day was a horrendous feeling for us and we were crying for most of the day. But we had a peaceful final day, at home, with our beautiful girl, sat giving cuddles, kisses and even sat out in the garden with her.

In the evening, a really lovely vet called Sam visited, and he was really calm and caring. He talked us through everything, step by step. Everything was done at our own speed and he gave us as much time as we needed to say our final goodbye without any rush. I held her in my arms throughout everything and she passed peacefully in my arms. Sam sat with us for a short while after, to make sure we were ok and spoke us through what may happen afterwards.

Thank you for allowing us to say goodbye to our baby girl in the comfort of our own home, without any stress.

Cloud 9 Vets helped my dog have peaceful sleep in the place he loved mostSaying goodbye to my best friend, my Westie, Max, was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I knew the time was coming but when suddenly on a Sunday morning his condition had deteriorated so badly and he was in so much pain, there was no waiting. Thankfully, Cloud 9 was able to help me and Max. The coordinator Amber was kind and so helpful, leading me through the process and making sure that he could be seen that day. Dorangela, the vet, was calming, supportive, and such a wonderful person. They both took away a big part of the stress of the whole experience. All matters were handled in one go -- from arranging the vet to the pickup by the crematorium. It's not easy to come to the decision, but having Max take his final sleep in the comfort of his bed, outside in the garden he loved, surrounded by the people he loved, is a decision I don't regret making. A big thank you to Cloud 9 Vets.

Thank you so much for all your kind and professional help with the end-of-life care for our beautiful Labradoodle Frodo. From the initial call where I couldn't stop crying to the very end where everything was just so peaceful Cloud 9 were just amazing. Sam the vet made the whole thing so special and he took the time to get to know us and to know our boy and how much we loved him. When the time came a very sad time became something we will treasure as we were with him all the way to his very last breath and for that we can never thank you enough. Thank you for also arranging the crematorium care as it was something I wouldn't have been in a place to do well, I would have messed it up. Overall if you have to go through this painful experience with your beloved pet then Cloud 9 are certainly the people you can trust your loved one with, they will see your furbaby is treated with the utmost respect and care and you will never regret the decision to use Cloud 9. As soon as Amber at Cloud 9 picked up the phone she was just what we needed in a moment of crisis. She was calm and understanding and although it was Sunday evening somehow she managed to get a vet to us within the hour. Andrea was just wonderful - calm, respectful, understanding and explained everything. We were able to say goodbye to our beautiful 15yr old rescue dog Zak in the garden, on his bed with lots of hugs and kisses to send him on his way. Andrea let us take our time, it couldn't have been more peaceful. I can't thank Cloud9, Amber and Andrea enough - you are doing an amazing job thank you xxx

We called Cloud 9 vets when my beautiful dog was suffering from liver cancer. They were extremely professional and the vet that came out to our house was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. He explained the process in step by step detail letting us know what to expect and how our dog may react to different things in the process. We were not rushed at all and got to give her a very calm, dignified and loving end to her life for which we will always be grateful. I cannot recommend them highly enough

What a brilliant service! Thanks to Sam the vet for the wonderful way he helped my darling very old rescue lurcher Cheeky to die in such a relaxed, kind and unhurried fashion. He allowed me to completely control everything that happened (my other 3 dogs are also fairly flaky rescue dogs). Sam was brilliant with all the dogs and also with me-I am an experienced dog owner who so far have had to let go 5 dogs throughout my life and I can honestly say this was the best experience of all for all concerned. Cheeky lost consciousness while busy face down in her snuffle mat, her favourite thing, with me helping her get all the treats. My other dogs were on the other side of the room enjoying their snuffle mats and then we were able to spend time with Cheeky (who died in her favourite place doing her most favourite thing) so we could adjust to the fact she was no longer here. The undertaker was a little late, but he phoned and explained why and was absolutely wonderful. I cannot thank you all enough. I expect people think all this cost a fortune-obviously it was a bespoke expert service, but it all cost no more than having an urgent out of hours visit from a standard vet, which I had to have 15 months ago for my lovely big old rescue lurcher in a bit of an emergency. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Sad to say my old girl Copper’s time had come and she was peacefully euthanised at home at 16 1/2 years old.

Her tail did not stop wagging for a fuss right to the very end, (or for pepperami!) which was as perfect an end as I could have hoped for, at home, relaxed and happy to have me by her side as always. ❤️

A massive thank you goes out to Sophie of Cloud9Vets, for still offering a compassionate and peaceful euthanasia at home in these difficult times, this was early June and my heart was breaking considering the only options available our local vets.

Sophie’s empathy and strength made the whole experience easier to deal with and kept me strong and staying positive for Copper’s last moments.

I know you are resting in peace now my darling, you are forever a part of my heart.

Would highly recommend cloud 9, having to call last minute on Saturday morning hoping someone could attend to my old moggy tommy, to start with the woman on the other end off the phone was lovely and even through my tears got me everything I needed. Within a short space off time if I remember correctly Andrea was with us and allowed me and my family to stay with our beloved pet right to the end and then privately transported tommy to Leyland pet cremation services for me and arranged for a return off ashes to me all stress free and so friendly. I can not recommend enough and thankyou from all off us xx

Bit of a long one bit here goes...
On Sunday 21st June we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our beautiful German Shepard Cheavus to sleep. At nearly 14 years old we had suspected DM and the final stages came on quite suddenly. During the pandemic we didn’t think our wish for her (when the time came) to have our beautiful girl put to sleep at home would be possible but we found you. You truly are angels in disguise. In such a difficult time, Your empathy on the phone speaking to you through broken tears, even though you didn’t know us, we felt supported.

The lady who answered our cell provided a caring calm voice (I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name) and the selfless vet (Andrea if we remember correctly) went above and beyond to work an extra long day, to be with Cheavus and my partner and doing what was needed so Cheavus was no longer sad and unable to walk. In the home she knew, laying on the bed she loved…she passed away peacefully and the final memory of her going to sleep, my partner explained, was gentle as described…and we wholeheartedly thank them all.

The decision to euthanise is not one any human makes easily for their furry friend but to know there is a service out there where empathy and compassion is at every step, is truly heartwarming.

It’s not an easy thing they do and must be difficult for them all daily, but knowing they are helping animals and their owners in their time of need, I do hope brings them comfort.

I apologise for the long message but we want you to know that the passing of Cheavus has been made that little bit easier thanks to cloud 9 and their amazing people and vet.

if you are wanting home euthanasia for your pet i would highly recommend Cloud 9 vets.
Last week i had to make the hard decision to help my Shih Tzu Milo pass over the rainbow bridge. Due to the current Covid situation our own vets disappointingly were unable to assist with this and there was no way that i was going to hand Milo over to die alone away from those he loved, as they would not allow us in the surgery to be with him either. Thats when i called Cloud 9 for help, they were very understanding and sent James to perform the procedure which was done professionally and with dignity. Milo passed in my arms peacefully and James was so very caring and supportive. Thankyou so very much James for enabling me to give Milo a loving and dignified passing.
Milo was cremated and his ashes are now back home with us where he belongs, RIP my sweet beautiful boy xxx

Its been nearly 2 months since we had our beautiful Poppy put to sleep due to cancer. A hard time in lock down made so much easier knowing that she could be put to sleep at home and not left at our local vets door. From the first phonecall to the vet coming out and a crematorium picking her up, it was faultless. The vet was lovely, I can't remember her name due to the pain and devastation we were going through. I know if cloud 9 were not around the pain of leaving my girl at the vets door would have broken me completely. Knowing she was at home on the sofa with her blanket and Teddy bear and we were with her, gave me lots of comfort. Thank you so much for being there when we needed you xx

Just like to say a big thank you to Cloud 9 for the service you provided to me in such a hard time. It was time for my best friend for 12 years "Buster" to go. We were in lockdown. The first phone conversation was very sympathetic and you described everything in detail of what would happen, Andrea was really good when he met Buster. He was very calming and explained everything he was doing. We even managed to have a conversation about the dog he has rescued, loves and takes everywhere with him. The sympathy card he sent after Busters passing was much appreciated and a very nice touch. Would highly recommend this company if your in the situation you never want to be in.

She got to hold him and cuddle him in his last moments. Thank you to all the team, from the phone call to the visit you were all very gracious. I read something once that stuck with me. From a pet- “I have been there for you through all your good and bad times, please don’t leave me at mine”. I know it’s hard to let them go but being at home where he felt safe and comfortable felt right. Thank you so very much for the card in the post after too, very thoughtful x

We called Cloud 9 yesterday as we knew it was time for our 17 year old dog Otis to leave us. We had tried our usual vet who was already overwhelmed with cases due to recent Covid circumstances and Cloud 9 seemed to be the option most suitable to us. The whole process from the kind and caring person who took our call and made sure that we could be accommodated at such short notice to the eventual arrival of the vet and the coordination of the crematorium team was all delivered in a professional, considerate and compassionate way.
We prepared for Sophie the vet to arrive and when she did she arrived in scrubs with a smile and a small tin of equipment. She talked through everything, was incredibly warm and loving towards Otis and our cat Neko who was there to supervise! This was one of the hardest things that we have had to do but also absolutely what our wonderful dog deserved, to leave this world in peace and made much easier by sharing it with a vet who clearly cares and understands. This service really comes very highly recommended by us. Donna & Steve Stewart. x

We very sadly had to let our dog Jade go off to Rainbow Bridge yesterday. As a family this was a heartbreaking decision to make after 13 years with her. We wanted Jade to be put to sleep at home with her family around her and Cloud 9 vets advised the garden so we could all be present. Andrea was our vet and he was very compassionate and understanding about our difficult decision. He stepped back after sedation and was very unobtrusive and allowed us the time to give lots of kisses and cuddles before we were ready to let Jade go. Using Cloud 9 enabled us to give Jade a peaceful, dignified ending in her own home surrounded by all her family. I thank you for your compassion and kindness on such a difficult day and would highly recommend to anyone considering euthinasia at home for their pet. We made the decision to keep Jade at home for a while after and arranged to take her to a Crematorium ourselves, Cloud 9 can also arrange to take care of your pet after should you choose to want that.

Andrea came next day after the vets couldn’t accommodate a home visit for our elderly German shepherd. He was so understanding and professional and made what is a very upsetting time bearable. Even during this Covid crisis he made sure we were there with our dog when she passed whilst maintaining social distancing and cleanliness. Can’t recommend him and their service highly enough

I had to make the painful & heartbreaking decision to let my cat go to sleep today. My usual vets aren't doing home visits at the moment due to the Pandemic & my cat Archie was a very nervous ex-stray cat who hated enclosed spaces so was terrified of a cat carrier & also hated travelling, I didn't want to put him through this on his final day. I was told about Cloud 9, I'm so pleased I used them. Andrea was my vet & he was so caring, compassionate & understanding, after hearing Archie's background & health history, seeing him & examining him; he put my mind at ease that I was doing the right thing & kindest thing for Archie & he made his passing calm & peaceful, I never felt any of it was rushed. Archie wasn't aware of what was happening as he was sedated 1st. For most people like me, it is an expensive service, but for me it's worth it to be able to give my beloved furbabies a calm & peaceful passing which is in their own home surroundings. Run free at rainbow bridge Archie with your feline friend Vinnie until we can all be together again. 🌈 🐾❤️

At the weekend my family took the sad decision to have our dog, Erin, put to sleep due to her sudden deterioration from untreatable cancer. Throughout her life she was very nervous of travelling and doubly so when going to the vets. Therefore, when we knew the end was close, it was important to us that we were able to arrange for her to be euthanised at home. Unfortunately our usual vets were not able to offer that service due to the current covid-19 situation. That is when we found Cloud 9 vets.
I called on Saturday afternoon and was so glad that Cloud 9 arranged everything so quickly especially as it is difficult organising things at weekends. They worked hard in the background arranging for the vet to visit at 10am on Sunday to put Erin to sleep and for the crematorium representative to arrive at 11am to take her away to be cremated.
All in all, this meant that Erin had as dignified and comfortable a passing as could be hoped for and we are so grateful to Cloud 9 Vets for arranging everything for us, leaving us free to grieve.
Everyone involved was so kind and sympathetic and I would not hesitate to recommend Cloud 9 Vets to anyone in a similar situation with their beloved pet.

What a wonderful service cloud 9 vets provide. The process of having our dog put to sleep was made much more personal by happening at home with Jenna lying in her bed. The vet, Jennifer, that came out couldn't have been more helpful or understanding and explained the process before she began. We decided to bury Jenna in our garden but cloud 9 also work in collaboration with pet cremators.

Can't recommend this lovely company enough. We just had our much loved cat put to sleep, who had been with us for 15 years. It was so heartbreaking, especially as it happened during the middle of the COVID lockdown - all our local vets said we had to leave him in the cat basket in a car park to be taken away, and couldn't be with him. But I'm so happy I looked around and found Cloud 9 - they were able to send a vet out to give him a calm and peaceful passing in our home, and allowed me to sit 2m away to comfort him. She didn't rush us, allowed us to say goodbye and was genuinely caring. It was worth every single penny to know we gave him a dignified passing in his home, rather than putting him through the stress and upset of being taken to a vet. Everyone we spoke to within the company was so compassionate, caring, responsive to any queries and clearly they are all loving pet owners too, as it reflects in the quality of care. I will not hesitate to use their service again in the future and recommend them to everyone I know. What an invaluable service they are providing.

I would like to say this was the most humane and wonderful way to have our beautiful Akita Keisha put to sleep just over 2 weeks ago and to be able to have done it under the blossom tree outside where she loved to be.
I would like to express our thanks to Andrea for his professionalism and support at this difficult time of social distances and because it was done outside we as a family were able to be present. Keisha left this life of 15yrs giving much love affection and loyalty and left looking as beautiful as always and very peaceful.

Cannot begin to say how grateful I am that I was able to use Cloud 9 Vets to put my Belle to sleep today.
Andreas who attended Belle was so caring and explained everything step by step. He gave us as much time as we needed with her in her final moments. He stepped back everytime with the current situation so we could be with her. Cannot thank him and Cloud 9 Vets enough for making this heartbreaking day go a little easier. I would also highly recommend for nervous dogs. My beautiful Sophie took a stroke that there was no coming back from, that was devastating. However, due to Lockdown my vet couldn’t come to the house, nor could I be with her in the surgery. I just remember a rush of helplessness consume me when the Vet told me this. All they could offer me was to give me Sophie back to take home. She was born in this house and it was only right that she stay here until the end. However, one of the admins told me about Cloud9 and said that other clients had used them during lockdown and she said they highly recommended them.

When we got home, I looked up the website and I was so disappointed that we were out with their travel area, but I called them anyway. And I am so glad I did. It was such a relief to hear reassuring words that they were sure the vet would travel the extra miles. Within half an hour the confirmation came that they could help me. The relief that gave me allowed me to spend one last day with my girl without worry.

Even with Lockdown rules, my beautiful girl just slept away and I was so grateful for that and it gave me such peace and that cannot be bought! Charis’s gentle approach and good energy was such a blessing, a true empath to both animals and their humans. My heartfelt thanks to All at Cloud9 for the amazing work you do.

I'd the heartbreaking decision to help my beautiful 18-1/2 yr old girl get on her way over Rainbow Bridge. Lisbet at Cloud9 showed so much compassion when I called, and Cherise was so respectful and patient when she arrived.... took her time and waited until we were ready to let go... Bella got very distressed whenever she'd to pay our Vet a visit, so getting Cloud9 to come to our home where she felt safe and loved in her final moments was the best decision. Couldn't recommend them enough... thank you so much Cloud9 for help making a difficult time a little easier.

Can't thank Cloud9 enough. Our 15yr old boy Baxter was at the end of his journey and in a lot of pain. The only way to help him was to drag him the following day to the vets. Cloud9 came to the rescue within hours and with the kind, considerate and gentle vet was able to fall asleep with every single member of the family by his side. He was loved beyond words and this was the loveliest passing we could have wished for. A big (very sad😭) thank you from the Holdsworth Family for helping our boy transition in his comfy warm bed with his family. It meant the world at an unbelievably heartbreaking time.

We said goodbye to our 12 year old Jack Russell Toby on 12th October. We had been not expecting to put him down as he had a cough and we had hoped it was treatable but we found out he had fluid on the lungs and tumours. We didn't want to rush to make the decision as we always said we wanted to do it at home. We had planned for the Monday with our vets to come round but Toby took a turn for worse on Friday and we nearly did it then but in the evening he helped us make the sad decision to it on Saturday and not make him wait or suffer for us. We struggled to get a vet to come out as it was a weekend and we booked to go into vets which we didn't want as Toby was so scared of the vets and we didn't want his final moments to be afraid.Thank goodness just before the appt. a Google advert appeared for. The decision to put our beloved Max to sleep was a long and painful one but Amber and Lisbet at Cloud 9 were immensely helpful, making all arrangements as simple as possible and dealing directly with the vet and Dignity Pet Crematorium on our behalf. This meant that tearful phonecalls and 'admin' were kept to a minimum while I could concentrate on making Max's last days happy and comfortable. Julie, the vet who visited, was immensely caring and calm, ensuring that we had the time needed to say goodbye and that Max was peaceful at home and on his favourite bedding until his last breath. It was clear that she felt nearly as deeply as we did and a vet who still feels like that after years in practice is worth their weight in gold. The flexibility offered by Cloud 9 by being able to arrange a home visit on a Saturday is so important to families who do not want a surgery based end for their beloved pet and need it to be at the weekend, as we did. Most vet practices cannot offer this, and nor can they offer to take pets afterwards to the crematorium for an individual cremation, ensuring that Max's ashes were his alone and not mixed with the ashes of other animals. I do not think that anything could have been done better and am thankful to Amber and her team at Cloud 9 for making a sad experience as positive as possible. With thanks from all of us.

Jackie - our little furry friend was in our family for 11 years. I can't even remember the time before she came into our lives. The decision to end her life was very difficult and we spoke to Lisbet many times. She was very kind on the phone and answered all our questions. Janet, the vet arrived on time for the procedure and she gave us enough time to say a final goodbye. Jackie fell into her final sleep. Goodbye Jackie! We miss you!

Cloud 9 came to our aid today and the Vet who came and helped our Black Labrador Jay to sleep was so compassionate and brilliant. He explained exactly the procedure beforehand and very supportive throughout. We cannot put into words how greatful we are to Cloud 9 for today and would not hesitate to recommend them from phone call to doorstep so unbelievably helpful on our very sad day. RIP Jay.

We were lucky we found Cloud 9 vets. Rocky's condition was deteriorating rapidly and we couldn't bare look at him suffering anymore. We made the decision to put him to sleep with a heavy heart, but now looking back we both believe it was the right thing to do. Cloud 9 vets made it easier for us, as much as it could have been possible. Thank you for the kindness you showed us!

Andrea, the vet who visited us, was very kind to Lexi. He took his time to explain the procedure to us and gave us time to say goodbye. After that it went very fast. Moments later Lexi was gone and we were left only with the memories we had of her. We requested that she is cremated and we buried her ashes in our back yard, where she loved to play. Rest in peace Lexi.

I want to thank Immacolata for showing such compassion to our golden retriever Abby. I could tell that Abby liked her from the moment she saw her. We are glad that Abby passed away peacefully, without fear and anxiety. It was very difficult to watch, but we just had to be with her until her very last breath. We still both burst in tears when we recall the moment. Thank you Immacolata and Cloud 9 vets.

My wife asked me to write this review because she still can't get over the loss of Penny. Cloud 9 vets helped make the day a little easier but I can without any doubt say that it was the hardest day in our lives. Penny was part of our family for 14 years and although it might sound like a long time, it feels like a moment. The dog life is so short compared to the human one, that you have to cherish every moment in their presence. We wish we had more time with Penny, but I guess she lived a full and happy dog life with us. Rest in peace Penny.

We had to have our beloved girls Bonnie and Fudge put to sleep just before Christmas and came across Cloud 9 on the internet. From the initial contact with Amber, who was so understanding, to Andrea who was so calm and put my girls totally at ease, to receiving their ashes back and even the card sent to us, we couldnt have asked for a better service. Thank you all so much for providing this stress free service. Thank you x

I am glad we found Cloud 9 vets in this difficult moment. They made everything a bit easier for us. I am not saying that making the decision to choose euthanasia was easy, but Cloud 9 Vets helped us make an informed decision. We already knew that there was no other choice left, but I guess we just had to hear it again to make the decision. I have nothing to say about the euthanasia itself. It looked painless for Rex. Vet was kind and showed us that she cares about us and our pet. I hope I never have to make this decision again in my life, but if I need to, I know I will call Cloud 9 Vets.

We had no choice but to put our beloved Jackie to sleep... She was overweight and very old. Barely moving and according to the vet, in pain. Cloud 9 vets showed as the first suggestion in Google and we spoke with them to arrange the procedure. We booked on the following week and the vet arrived at the arranged date and time. He was very friendly and kind to our Jackie and to us. He took the time to explain the whole procedure in details and answered all our questions. After that he performed the euthanasia and Jackie looked very peacefully. The vet also arranged to have her cremated as per our request. We miss her, but at least we now know that she is no longer in pain.

Our beloved Jade our Staffie was suffering and we made the heartbreaking decision to set her free over the rainbow bridge, we searched for a more dignified home service and came across Cloud 9 vets, we could not recommend them enough, Andrea came to our home on Tuesday and was absolutely fantastic he checked Jade and talked through the process and put us at ease even though we were heartbroken and upset he made it bearable, Jade was in her own surroundings and passed so peacefully. He gave us time to say our goodbyes after the passing. Jade was then taken to be cremated. We received her ashes back Today Friday with the paw prints we had ordered. All this organised by Cloud 9 vets. Also they are only to willing to help you with answers and reassurance as we have struggled with guilt and grief they really are fantastic.

Amber and Andrea assisted with my dog very recently and organised everything from a last minute call out pretty late at night to the single cremation of my beloved dog. Having her final moments at home was so comforting I couldn’t recommend it more. I was worried about us having an unknown vet but I was also distressed and desperate. The moment I opened the door to Andrea I knew he was the right person - thank you so much for making this very hard time so much easier and allowing me to see my best friend pass on in a quiet and dignified manner on her own couch in my arms - just beautiful x

My experience with Cloud 9 Vets could not have been better. The vet arrived on time, sedated my beloved Aero at her favourite spot in the autumn sunshine and eventually gave her, her final injection. I want to thank Cloud 9 for making the passing of my baby Molly so comforting and personal. Molly, to the end gave up a fight and I was mortified she bit the vet who couldn’t have been any more gentle with her, but the vet was so understanding and kept reassuring me not to worry about her finger. Molly passed away at home peacefully with all her family with her. Euthanasia was our very last choice when there was nothing left we could have done to help Max. We had a very long phone talk with Cloud 9 Vets and after they answered all of our questions we booked a visit. The vet arrived on time and gave us some time alone with Max to say goodbye to him. We have a big family with two cats and a dog. It is never easy to let a pet go, even though it was a second time I had to go through this. We can`t even begin to express our gratitude to the helpful Cloud 9 vets. Our beloved Molly suffered from kidney disease for years but for the last several weeks her condition was growing worse. It's never easy to say goodbye to a family member but we think that the decision to end the suffering was the right one. Thank you Molly for the best moments of our lives!

I have no hesitation in recommending cloud 9 vets. I found them on a google search and they were the top hit and proved to be an outstanding service. It was the hardest thing in the world coming to the decision of putting to sleep our beloved Lola, our staff who had reached the ripe old age of 17 and a half. I have three sons, 2 quite young and Andrea the vet was just as amazing with the kids as he was with our dog. He allowed us all to sit around and pet our old girl. She loves a stroke and the more the better. Andrea explained what would happen and was most intuitive to when we agreed the moment was right to send her off for the best pain free sleep ever. Andrea and Lisbet, you are living angels and the boys and I thank you immensely.

We are so grateful to the vets and staff members who provide this service. Before our experience with Cloud 9 Vets, we have had to put two other dogs to sleep in veterinary clinics. The vets there were helpful, but the experience was extremely stressful and scary for our dogs. This time, our Jodie was able to leave this world in her favorite dog bed. Without any stress or pain.

Felix was diagnosed with terminal cancer in January and the vets told us he has less than an year to live. At first we decided to wait and visit more vets. In May after visiting 4 different vets we were sure that there were no other options but pet euthanasia. By then his quality of life had become very poor and he was constantly in pain. We made the decision to go ahead with home euthanasia. We chose Cloud 9 Vets because of their reviews. We are happy we chose them. They made the terrible day, a lot less painful and the vet was very kind to Felix. We are grateful for this.

I am not much into writing reviews. That is why I will keep it short. Cloud 9 Vets were an incredible help when we decided to put our dog down. Emma was our sunny golden retriever. Last month she was diagnosed with kidney failure and our vet told us there was nothing that can be done for her, except giving her painkillers and lastly euthanasia. We found an article about pet euthanasia on the Cloud 9 Vets website. We learned a lot from it and we called them. They answered all of our questions over the phone. We scheduled a home visit and the vet arrived at the scheduled time. It all went down really fast (or at least it seemed fast to us). We said our goodbye to Emma and the vet put her to sleep.... She did not feel any pain at all.

My wife and daughter were devastated after Ruby was diagnosed with terminal cancer. We had many long sleepless nights considering euthanasia, but we had a very hard time making this decision for her. After a 2 hour consultation over the phone with Cloud 9 vets, we decided to go for it. Ruby was in a lot of pain and it seemed like she was suffering every day and struggling with her life. Losing our little guy was, and is, heartbreaking. Cloud 9 Vets helped us in part by understanding our sorrow and loss in a deep way. The vet helped us by the calm, gentle, loving way she approached our dog, explained every step she would be taking, and allowed us time with him afterward. She understood the depth of our grief. I've wanted to write this much deserved review but kept putting it off because I'm still so heartbroken...This past May, my husband and I were hit with the difficult decision to euthanize terrier - Teddy. He was in the end stage of cancer and I did not want him to suffer. I'm so grateful for finding this compassionate service... The vet arrived on short notice to our home and made us feel like we were her own family. She made sure that this very difficult time was given the utmost sensitivity and respect we were hoping for. I would highly recommend Home Pet Euthanasia and Cloud 9 Vets to anyone having to make this heart wrenching decision for their pet.

Cloud 9 are very kind and knowledgeable. We had a really hard time deciding whether to put our old Rufus to sleep. We spoke with 4 vets before we made this difficult choice. Cloud 9 vets have an amazing helpline. They answered everything we asked them and gave us a lot of information. We spoke for nearly 2 hours over the phone. After long consultations with 2 vets it was clear that dog euthanasia was our only choice. Toby was in tremendous pain and painkillers seemed to stop helping. His life conditions were very poor. We spoke with Cloud 9 vets over the phone for more than an hour. They were very kind and explained the whole process. 2 days later the vet arrived on our front door at the exact time we booked. She was very kind to Toby and I saw sadness in her eyes after she examined him. The whole procedure was very fast and after the sedative, Toby fell to his final sleep. He will be truly missed. Lucy was in a lot of pain and the vet said she won't last the year. We had to consider cat euthanasia as an option. We had to have our beloved dog Jazz put to sleep on Sunday afternoon and I’d come across this company having decided to have her euthanized at home. The whole upsetting experience was made that little bit more bearable by the professionalism of everyone involved from Lizbet discussing the procedure with me and also very kindly offering to send our son a book to read to help him come to terms with losing Jazz, to the vet showing empathy to all of us and being gentle with Jazz and then the gentleman from the cremation company who was also very sympathetic to us when he came to collect Jazz and brought her back to us a couple of days later. Myself & my Husband can’t thank Amber & Imma enough for the wonderful, & very professional, care & compassion we experienced on the 5th Feb 2018 when we had to say Goodbye to our 21 yr old Cat...”Spit”. We had no recommendations to go by regarding “Home Euthanasia” but when I called Cloud9, the minute I heard Ambers voice, that was so gentle & full of understanding, my mind was made up there & then. You truly are the Best Amber. Imma the Vet, was amazing too. Nothing was rushed, we chatted for a while, & every step of the way to saying Goodbye to our beautiful Spit was totally relaxed, & so full of gentle care, which made the whole sad process much easier for us to cope with.

We have experienced having to take Pets to the Vets to say goodbye before, which we have found so stressful for both our animals & us....but on Amber & Immas merits, we would recommend Cloud9 anytime to anyone. It obviously costs a little more to say “Goodbye” in the comfort of yours & your pets own home, but we think it was worth every single penny.

Sorry for such a long review, but I can’t praise Cloud9 enough. Once again, ”Thank You“ Amber & Imma, Love From Sue & Mac xxxx

I first heard about Cloud 9 Vets a few months ago. At first I rejected the idea of pet euthanasia, but eventually I realised that this is the only peaceful, humane and respectful way to say goodbye to your pet companion when the time comes. My dog, Berney got sick and seeing him suffer was devastating. I called Cloud 9 Vets and I was pleased to be treated so professionally. The vet came to our house, examined Berney and then gently put him to sleep. He wasn’t stressed or terrified which was entirely due to the vet’s caring and sympathetic attitude.

Caring, amazing people, made a hard time bearable. Wonderful Imma came quickly, took time to get to know my lovely, gentle cat a little so he would not be afraid, explained everything to me and made sure I was ready when the moment for JJ to pass over came. She took him for cremation as I have no garden where I could bury him and I received emails telling me when this had been done. I have even had emails from lovely, caring Amber to make sure I am ok. Losing a family member and friend is a sad, lonely time but knowing there are compassionate people who are there to support, talk and listen has made all the difference. I will always be grateful to them for their respect for my cat in the last moments of his life and afterwards and for the concern they have shown to me in the days following my sad loss.

Losing your pet is never easy. Especially if you have spent almost 12 wonderful years with a sweet little pal like our pug Percey. Last month he was diagnosed with a kidney failure so we instantly knew that our time together was coming to an end. I can’t remember how I heard about Cloud 9 Vets but thank God that they were next to us in such a hard moment. The vet that came to our house was so good to our Percey, he calmed him down and gently put him to sleep while I was holding his hand. It gives me comfort to know that he was not suffering at all and everything went smoothly.Cloud 9 Vets are amazing, they treat you and your pet with sympathy and understanding, explain everything in details in case you want to know more information and we couldn’t be more thankful that we found them!

We knew that we had to put our beloved cat Shelly to sleep. She was already suffering from kidney disfunction and every time she had to urinate she was feeling terrible pain. We prolonged her last days only because we wanted to make sure that we would find her a caring and understanding vet who will treat her kindly. Luckily we heard about Cloud 9 Vets and the fact the they offer gentle in-home euthanasia. The vet that came to our house was kind, caring and very sympathetic. The experience was of course very sad for us but she somehow managed to made it much easier and bearable. Emotionally painfull as it may sound but such services are a blessing for those who want to say goodbye to their beloved pet at home, where the animal is at peace and not stressed or scared as if in a vet clinic.

Last year we had to put to sleep our senior cat Jerry, because he was obviously suffering in his last days, not because he was sick, but simply old. For the first time we decided to choose the option for home euthanasia and that is how we met the vets from Cloud 9 Vets. We loved the idea of a vet coming to your house so that the animal won’t be traumatized and he can spend his last ours with us at home. The vet was very thoughtful and sympathetic, he explained us all the details and only after we assured him that it is ok, he put Jerry to sleep. Cloud 9 Vets made this difficult situation less painful and stressful for all of us.

My cat Shelly’s last days were quite painfull to watch. I knew she was suffering because the vets told me that she was very sick and I should consider the option of putting her to sleep. It was then that I first heard of Cloud 9 Vets and their end of life care services. They gave me full details how everything will be handled which was very important to me since I have a little girl who is very attached to Shelly. Such an event can be very traumatizing for kids but the vet was extremely caring and sympathetic. They reassured us that our beloved baby won’t be stressed or hurt in any way. So it happened.Thank you Cloud 9 for you kindness, sympathetic approach and professionalism!

They say there is no greater gift than the love of a cat. Years ago I would disagree, but not until I met Smokey, gorgeous black & white stray cat that I adopted. Ever since, he was my beloved companion. Unfortunately he got really sick from a rare cat disease and I realised that his days were soon to be over. Our local vet told me that it would be best to euthanize him and let him pass away in peace and dignity. That’s how I met Cloud 9 Vets. Even though it was extremely painful moment to watch his last minutes, the vet was very understanding and caring both with me and my Smokey. They give you as much details about the procedure as you want to know. I would definitely recommend them if you ever find yourself in a situation like mine.

A year ago we had to say goodbye to our german shepard Bernard after having spent 12 lovely years together. At first we were definitely reluctant to using euthanasia services but after a thorough survey on the topic we decided that this will be the most dignified and painless way to say goodbye to our pet friend. We heard about Cloud 9 Vets from a friend of ours that had already used their services. The vet that came to our home was very compassionate and gentle to both our dog and us. He told us what was going to happen and we had the chance to have a proper goodbye with Bernard. He passed away peacefully and not stressed at all because everything happened in our house.

A few months ago we decided that it was time to say goodbye to our beloved cat, Bob. He was almost 13 years old and as you may suppose the too many years have caused serious health issues. A friend of ours told us about the option for in-home euthanasia. Even though the word instantly evokes tears and the feeling of guilt, we decided that this will be the most dignified and peaceful way for our Bob to leave this world.A vet from Cloud 9 Vets came to our home and informed us for as much details as we wanted to know. He was extremely gentle to our cat, Bob was neither stressed nor did he feel pain.Cloud 9 Vets helped us cope with a very difficult moment in our life!

My dear Barni was the most cheerful, loving and loyal dog that I have ever met. We had such a wonderful time together, but about a year ago he got really sick. Even though I did everything to cure his illness and make him feel better again, the vets told me that I will only prolong the inevitable. As time went by and I was witnessing how painful it was for my beloved pet companion I decided to look for a more peaceful and painless way for him to spend his last days. A friend of mine told me about Cloud 9 Vets so I decided to seek for their in-home vet services. At first I was a bit sceptical what will happen and if this was the right decision but I was truly amazed by their compassionate and caring manner. My Barni was feeling no stress at all because he spent his last days in his favourite sofa thanks to the in-home gentle euthanasia. The vet was so caring and supportive all the time even when he gently put him down to sleep.

My beautiful freds passing

We faced a very difficult discussion about our loyal campion Fred who was not far off his 11th birthday he was such a lovely basset hound , we knew it was time for him to run over the rainbow bridge ... we contacted Cloud 9 Vets to discuss how they could help make Freds jounery easy and plainless for us all .. Fred went to sleep so peacefully the vet was such a lovely person she gave Fred the dignity he deserved he was also able to be in his own home and bed and with his brother George our staffy.. we was able to say good bye in our own time .. Fred looked so at peace when finally passed .. from the first phone call to the Cloud 9 Vets and after Fred had passed and before Phoenix pet cremations picked him up we was treated with the greatest respect and dignity during this hard time for us all .. I will be always grateful to the vet and the whole team at cloud 9 Vets forever thank you.

Final Goodbye to our beloved dog Meg.

The time had unfortunately come to say Goodbye to our beautiful Golden Retriever Meg she had been our loyal friend for 12 years. Oral Cancer had now made her life uncomfortable and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go. Samuel the vet arrived and instantly we felt the procedure was carried out with dignity and care. Thank you so much. Carol and Mike.

Peaceful and dignified

I'm so happy I found Cloud9 Vets. From the first time I called them and spoke with a lovely man called Amba, he really listened and understood what I was going through and gave me so much time to ask questions and just talk out my grief with him. I was able to book an appointment for the following day (despite them having no vets in my area at the weekend, they bent over backwards).
Faye the vet came to my house and was so gentle and kind, she took time to make Zeus (and me) feel comfortable with her and there was no rushing at all.
Zeus was able to fall asleep in my arms in his peaceful home environment, he wouldn't have known anything was different, just that mummy had a new friend in the house.
It is more expensive doing euthanasia at home but it was worth every single penny to see my boy so calm and peaceful and to hold him close.
I'm very sorry you're going through this too.

Saying Goodbye

Saying goodbye...

We have just made the difficult decision to have our 19 year old cat put to sleep. I called Cloud 9 vets and spoke to a lovely kind lady. We made an appointment for a couple of days later. On the morning of the appointment the vet messaged me to say he would be a few minutes late. Andrea arrived and instantly made me feel I was doing the right thing. He was so calm and caring, a very kind and compassionate man. Nothing was rushed and he explained everything during the procedure. He treated our fur baby with extreme care and was so gentle with him. We had arranged for the vets to take him for cremation, which Andrea explained would be carried out the same day. Our baby was brought back to us by a special courier the very next day. What a great service all round. I would highly recommend Cloud 9

Wonderful service

I had to make the agonising decision to have my fur baby Poppy put to sleep this week. Cannot thank the vet that came enough. Galina is a credit to Cloud 9, she talked me through everything and reassured me that I was making the right decision for my cat. I would like to thank her from the bottom of my heart for helping me through this tough decision.

Thank you to everyone at cloud9 vets, especially Jen who visited our home. Such a lovely kind and compassionate lady who understood what our family was going through having to put our 17 year old pup gently to sleep. I cannot thank Jen enough. Also thank you to Alex from icare pet crematorium for the thoughtful and dignified way he dealt with things.

We had to make the difficult decision to put our beautiful Destiny to rest, an experience no-one is ever ready for. But cloud 9 Vets, from the very start to the end, have been so professional, caring and dignified, we couldn't have asked for a better goodbye. From the compassionate booking service with Amber who accommodated a quick turnaround when things took a turn for the worse, to Faye the vet, who saw us the next day and gave us the time to process and ask questions and just be there with her. Faye and Pheonix the crematorium company handled our Destiny with the same love and care we would and we will always be thankful for the respectful and warm way the whole process was.

Thank you

We started to do this last week just after Andrea had been and we couldn't' complete it but a week further on and we feel that we can move on a bit.
Mitzie was part of us and our life, she came to us at 6 /7 weeks, and loved and was loved for 15 years: and when her time came it took courage to put her to sleep but we think we picked the right time.
We didn't want her to just disappear into a vets surgery and that be that, we wanted her at home and we were lucky enough to find Cloud 9 vets. we did not know that our little girl could go with the dignity and respect that was shown by Andrea, for such a sad occasion he was perfect. It's not routine for him, he may put pets to sleep all day but we feel that he came to us to do a favour as a friend and he did so with dignity, care and respect for his patient and for us. He gave her a peaceful and loving passing.
We can't really thank him enough and the team at Cloud 9 Vets for the respect and care that all showed.
Thank you very much, Cath and Phil Smith

We had to make a very difficult decision for our mischievous, nutty cocker spaniel Harvey who at 15 years old was very frail and poorly. We cannot thank Cloud 9 Vets enough for the amazing service they provide. We were very distressed but were so fortunate to have Andrea by our side. As other reviews have mentioned, he is the most compassionate caring vet who made saying goodbye to Harvey as dignified as it could be. He was in his own home, in his own bed and it was a very peaceful goodbye. Thank you to all the team, a shining light in these difficult times.

Sympathetic Service

From my first contact with Amber I received very sympathetic and thoughtful advice about the decisions I had to make regarding our 18.5 year old Norwich Terrier Bobbin. Amber's chats certainly made me aware of all the factors I needed to take into account and although very sad, assisted me to decide that Bobbin really had reached the end of the road, and it was the kindest thing to do to help him on his way.
On the day, I really did appreciate James the vet who came to see us. Although there were the anticipated covid restrictions, and we had planned to use an outdoor site, James was very understanding and donned a lot of PPE so that he could attend to Bobbin in his usual resting place. James was clearly a dog lover, and spent some time examining Bobbin, stroking him and talking to him all the time. I could not have wished for a more sympathetic, understanding and caring vet. He never stopped talking to us and Bobbin, and caressed him whenever possible. A time we had dreaded was made much nicer, thanks to James. He monitored Bobbin closely and advised us as soon as he had passed away. He even offered to help us handle the body, as we were burying him in our garden. I cannot praise James enough, so if you need to use Cloud 9 Vets services and live in the north-west, you should ask for James, who operates out of Warrington, but is very willing to travel - we live in Mold, Flintshire.
Thanks once again to Amber and James for such wonderful assistance.

The decision that it was time to say goodbye to Oscar, our 13-year old chocolate Labrador and beloved family pet, was one of the most difficult we’ve ever had to make. Thank you so much for the support and advice we received from the Cloud 9 Vets team over the phone and we are incredibly grateful to Sam, the vet who came to our home and handled Oscar’s passing with incredible compassion and professionalism. We live in Southampton and Cloud 9 Vets sent us their vet David, I have never met a more caring, kind and gentle vet. He even took time to talk to our other dog while we were saying goodbye. I am so relieved I opted for at home euthanasia. Our dog received the peaceful end to life he so truly deserved and fell asleep being comforted in his favourite spot on the sofa . David has compassion and has a very calming manner, exactly what we needed at such difficult time.
Thank you Cloud 9 Vets and David, you gave our dog dignity in his final moments.

Great Service

Our pet cat Luke who was 15 years old and had kidney disease. It got to the point where the humane thing to do was help him on his way. We did not want to stress him by taking him to a the vet and our vet would not do home visits due to Covid19. So we contacted Cloud 9 Vets. They arranged for a really nice Italian lady vet to visit us. She was very sympathetic and professional, explaining the procedure, giving us time to say goodbye and then helping Luke on his way. There was no pain or stress for our cat. Dorangela was the lady's name and I would recommend her to any other pet owner that requires these services.

Real life angels

Hi I would like to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to your vet Andrea. We had to make the hard decision to put our beautiful dog to sleep, as any other animal lover knows this isn’t an easier decision to make.

With Covid, we didn’t feel comfortable with our own vet practice, and we wanted to give what our beloved dog had given to us which was unconditional love, we believed for her end of life care, it would be more peaceful, less stress for her to be where she had lived all her life and to be surrounded by those who loved her in her own home.

I actually prayed for help and I came across Cloud9 vets on the internet and read their reviews, and knew they would be the best vets so I got in touched and spoken to a lady call Elizabeth who was so helpful, she explained everything to me, nothing was a problem she answered all my questions, nothing was rushed, she listened, she cared, she was very comforting with her words, because I know making that phone call wasn’t easy but I knew in my heart it was the right thing to do. She also explained the procedures that even though things are difficult with covid, myself and my family would still get to be with her right to the end.

A lovely Vet Andrea arrived, I hand on heart haven’t met a vet like him, this man has truly picked the right profession, you can clearly tell this gentleman lives and breathes animals. He had so much heart, empathy, and was compassionate, he had so much respect for my beautiful girl, even though they had just met. He wanted to know all about her, We had have her since she was 8 weeks old, and she was now 15 ½ years, he mentioned his dog too, we chatted, telling stories/memories He explained the procedure to us, nothing was rushed, he gave us all the time we needed. We were in our garden and the sun was shining down on us, we had candles lit around the garden, we were aloud our moment to say good bye, our beautiful girl was surrounded by her family, including our children who she grown up with and our other dog, and she peacefully slipped away pain free with my husband by side. What you would have thought could be a traumatic or difficult experience was actually beautiful and peaceful, she died with dignity. Andrea even stayed with us sometime after and gave us some comforting advice and words, he left a book for us and one for my children about losing a pet and grieve. He also gave me some advice for my other dog who suffers with separation anxiety and how to help her over the next few weeks after losing her mum. Andrea really went above and beyond, and I cant thank you enough, not all angels reside in heaven some walk the earth just like you. I even received a condolence card from Cloud9 and Andrea in the post.

I would highly recommend Cloud9 and Andrea if you are considering at home Pet Euthanasia, I would be forever grateful for what they did for me and my beautiful girl. They truly are heaven on earth.

Thank you

Thank you to Cloud 9 for helping us through the most difficult day of our lives. Our boy went downhill fast and in the current Covid climate we didn’t know what to do. We knew we wanted Humphrey to pass peacefully at home as he had always been scared of the vets and we certainly didn’t want him passing away alone. From the people at the end of the phone to the vet that came to us, all were so lovely and caring and made an awful time that bit easier, taking care of everything so we could just focus on enjoying our last moments with Humphs. We were never rushed and being able to be with our boy and comfort him to the end meant a lot. Thank you.

Thank you Andrea the vet for making my cat, Elvis aged 19 end of life so gentle, dignified and peaceful. I was distraught that because of Covid restrictions, I would not be allowed to be with him in our vet surgery. Elvis deserved more than to be handed over in a car park. Cloud 9 arranged for Elvis to be cremated and brought back home to me within a few days. He went to sleep in my arms, just the way it should be. Thank you so much

We are available to help you with home euthanasia for your pet

In order to safeguard you and our vets and to comply with Government regulations there are some requirements you should be aware of and agree to before we confirm your home visit:
1. If the gentle euthanasia is indoors, only one person can be present during the vet’s visit, other family or friends should say their goodbyes before the vet arrives at your home
2. There should, at all times, be a two meter distance between the family member and the vet.
3. Our process involves sedation, you will be able share closeness with your pet after the vet has given the sedative
4. If you are able to be in your own garden, this greatly reduces the risk of contagion and it may be possible to be more than one person to be with the vet, our vet will advise you.
5. We are doing all we can to ensure there is closeness, care and compassion during the gentle euthanasia home visit. A peaceful goodbye is so important at such a sensitive and emotional time
6. Thank you for your understanding and consideration in these very difficult and challenging times.
