Making a difficult time bearable

I couldn't recommend this service highly enough.
Our own vets wouldn't come to the house 'out of hours' and there was no way I could get my boy (Great Dane) in the car to take him to the practice.

From the first point of contact over the phone with Ellie, to the vet, Becky, attending at our home I was treated with kindness.

We had an incident with our other dog minutes before Becky arrived (she had an operation the previous day to have tumours removed and one of the wounds had started bleeding) and Becky took the time to check her over first which helped to calm me down.

The process of the euthanasia was explained step by step and Becky was so gentle with my boy throughout the visit, making sure he was comfortable.
Becky even had one final check of my girl before she left, this was above and beyond what was expected.
I cannot thank Ellie and Becky enough for making such a difficult time bearable.

Thank you

We wish this day had never arrived, but we are genuinely grateful to the staff at Cloud 9 & in particular our vet, Felipe, who assisted us with care, dignity and a truly sympathetic approach.

The service provided from the initial phone call all the way through to the card of condolences was first class.

Peaceful goodbye to our lovely Dexter

I would 100% recommend Cloud9vets.

I rang on Saturday and arrangements were made for Sunday.

I can't fault any part of the service, from the staff on the phone , Andrés the Vet, and Neil the driver who took Dexter and brought his ashes back to us.

Andrés was compassionate and sensitive, explaining everything and ensuring everyone understood what going to happen. He was amazing.

A fitting goodbye for our much loved dog Dexter, who was able to pass away peacefully in his own home.

Excellent service

Thanks you so much for making the passing of our beloved dog Sabrina easier for her and us.

We contacted Cloud 9 on the Friday to enquire about the service as we could see our girl was reaching the end. But unfortunately during the night she took a turn for the worse so we could not leave her any longer.

After contacting Cloud 9 first thing on the Saturday morning they were able to get Filipe the vet to come out us by 10am.

We could not have asked for a more caring and compassionate final time with our girl it was not rushed and we all got time to say our goodbyes and she slipped away with her bezza mate my daughter with her.

It was so nice to have our final moment with her in familiar surrounding (she hated going to the vets) where she was not stressed or scared and comfortable in her own bed.

After having previously lost our other dog at the vets we swore Sabrina's last day would be at home with all of us and Cloud 9 made this possible.

Albie

Yesterday, 11/07/2024 I came to the heart-breaking decision that it was time to say goodbye to my beloved scruff bug, Albie. The people I spoke with on the phone were so kind and patient in arranging everything. Alex visited us the same evening, he was so reassuring to us, kind and gentle to my Albie, explaining every step of the process and only proceeding when we were ready. Albie slipped into a calm sleep from the sedative, which he didn't even feel, then after our final goodbyes and cuddles, my boy went peacefully and calmly over the rainbow bridge. Phoenix pet cremations came to collect him, placing him gently on a blanket in a dog bed, putting his one eared bunny next to him and covering him with a blanket. Thank you so much to Alex and Gary for your kindness and professionalism during one of the worst days of my life - I will always be grateful for the care and compassion you showed to my special scruff bug. RIP Albie, I miss you

Our lovely Millie

We made the hardest decision to let our beautiful dog Millie to go to her forever sleep. Cloud nine vets were amazing, they were recommended to us by our own vet as our own vet did not do home visits. The lovely vet came to the house, it was a lovely sunny night and she suggested we let Millie be in her favourite place which was the garden, we were all round her as she gave her a sleepy injection first to make her lovely and relaxed before putting her off to sleep. They were so caring and lovely to us all, even our other dog Cali who wanted the treats out of the vets bag. Would highly recommend Cloud9

Crumpet

Sending heartfelt thanks to the team at Cloud9Vets for their compassionate, caring and helpful manner. We took the difficult decision to say goodbye to our beloved cat Crumpet a few weeks ago and I can safely say the service from Cloud9Vets was worth every penny. Special thanks to Sam(uel) the vet who was calm, kind, respectful and knowledgeable - we are very grateful.

Sally, thank you so much, your kindness when dealing with our loss so much appreciated! Your understanding and compassion was so helpful, at this distressing time, and made the situation bearable. Thank you!

Such a lovely, pleaceful end.

July 21 - it was the day that I made the decision that Bubbles couldn't go on the way he was. He didn't even stir much when Alex arrived, and Alex was so kind and caring. I had Bubbles on a blanket on my lap so he passed peacefully at home, in my arms. He was nearly 17, cross Yorkie/Jack Russell, and had had a good life but it was still such a hard decision but made easier by the helpful people I dealt at Cloud 9. Thanks to all of them.

Thank you

On the 12th of June, the time had come for me to say goodbye to my beautiful, gentle old friend, Charly, my spaniel.

I rang Cloud 9 and they sent Charly an Angel named David. He was kind, gentle and respectful to Charly and me, not rushing us. Though it broke my heart, it could not have been more gentle and peaceful.

Thank you so much,

From Sandy

Ruby and Lottie

Sadly in September 2023 we said goodbye to our beloved Ruby. Then only 10 months on we found ourselves in the same situation with our little Lottie. Henry made an incredibly difficult situation more bearable with his knowledge, support and empathy. He was attentive to our needs, ensuring our fur babies were comfortable and peaceful throughout the process. We cannot thank Henry enough for his kindness and compassion.

Busby

Busby was found 15 years ago under a bush in the garden, living very rough. She took time to trust us and to add to our family, but once she did she rapidly ruled us with the flick of a paw! She and David adored each other and he was particularly affected when, in 2019, she was diagnosed with incipient liver failure. Despite this she continued to lead a lively and well-fed existence until, it became obvious she was becoming really poorly. With difficulty we decided the time had come to help her out of her pain and contacted Cloud 9 on the advice of the ANIMED Hospital at Shedfield. Cloud 9 were duly contacted on Sunday and arrived promptly on Monday in the form of vet Richard. He was professional and also caring and gentle with our sick animal, as well as understanding our own reactions. We have no fault to find with this service and would be happy to recommend them to anyone in our situation.

Earlier this year we had to say goodbye to Meela. I grew up with her. She was part of the family and we loved her more than words can describe. We done everything we could to try and save her but eventually we had to face the reality that euthanasia was the only humane option left for her.

Making the choice might’ve been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. There’s nothing that could’ve made it feel like I was doing the right thing, but the at home service provided by Cloud9 and the genuine compassion shown by their vets was the best we could’ve asked for. As impossible as it feels, to anyone else faced with the tragedy of having to say goodbye, Cloud9 will do right by you and your loved one.

A massive Thank you

On 1st June we had to say goodbye to our baby boy Baxter. we wanted him to be surrounded by all of those that love him as he went for his long sleep. Cloud 9 and Charis the vet made this day really beautiful. Charis comforted baxter and us during the whole process and reassured us that it was the right descision, she let us take our time saying goodbye to him and made sure that he was comfortable. Thank you all so much for making the day more bareable.

Mia

The whole experience with the massively hard decision to have to put our dog Mia to sleep was lovely as it could be. Filipe our vet was amazing, he made us and Mia feel so comfortable, it was so hard but he made it all the more bearable. I would recommend anyone that has to make this hard decision to use Cloud9, Mia was so at peace all the way through and doing it at home was the most important thing for us, so we could say goodbye in a nice happy environment for Mia, no stress visiting the vets, just a big thank you too Filipe, he also sent us a lovely card afterwards, a lovely touch thank you Filipe.

Our Beautiful Daisy

Yesterday was the hardest day ever when we had to say goodbye to our beautiful Daisy words can’t describe how hard it was to watch our beautiful Daisy take her last sleep. She has been my best friend for the past 15 years. Our vet Vanessa arrived and she was amazing talked us through everything that was going to happen and showed Daisy so much love and attention made Daisy feel so special and calm literally didn’t stop talking to her right up until she passed , we couldn’t thank her enough. She even gave out other dog who was with Daisy until the end , once Daisy passed and Vanessa still made sure she looked perfect.

We are so grateful for making everything so special.

Phoenix’ Cremations arrived to take our beautiful girl away and the gentleman was so kind as he took such good care of her and placed her in the basket wrapped in a blanket and had such kinds words when left .

We can’t thank you enough. 🌈🐾💕

Following a sudden and unexpected illness of our cat who was 14, we had been given Cloud 9's details by a friend. John was our vet and I can't actually put into words how warm, caring, professional and most of all compassionate he was. He sat in a bedroom on the floor with my husband and I chatting whilst helping me groom my cat before his final hours. For this I will be eternally grateful.

Neil arrived shortly after to take Lennox on his final journey. Again, he was kind and warm and advised of the next steps.

From the first contact with Jennifer and Ellie I felt at ease, listened too and knew that I'd made the right choice. I honestly couldn't fault the service.

Lovely, gentle and caring attention from Zoi who explained everything and gave us all the time we needed with our girl to say goodbye. She passed away very peacefully thanks to Zoi. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Thank you

I am so grateful to David the vet for making the saddest day so peaceful and more bearable. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect end for my little Bertie. The whole proces was quiet, tranquil and relaxed. Bertie went to sleep in his favourite blanket on my lap in our living room with no stress of a cat basket and car journey to clinical surroundings. David was perfect, so calm and so caring to Bertie and genuinely shared the sad experience with us. At the end we were given all the time we needed to say goodbye. I am so very grateful to your whole team for making this peaceful and respectful end possible.

Couldn't have asked for better

From the first telephone conversation with Jennifer to my last contact with Neil I couldn't have asked for more kindness or understanding at such a heart breaking time. John the vet who came to us explained everything and how it would happen so there were no unexpected surprises. My little man Beau passed away in my arms where he belonged. We were given our own time to say our goodbyes before Neil came in with a basket to take him, he was covered up with his head showing and looked so peaceful as if he was just sleeping. A massive thank you to everyone at Cloud9vets. Highly recommended

Mimi

Thank you soo much for your caring and compassionate time with me. It was also very reassuring to know that I was doing absolutely the right thing in having mimi put to sleep as she was very unwell. It was so stress free both for her and me. So thank you. Also to the gentleman from Companion Haven.

SUCH CARING STAFF

I had booked my sweet Bellamy little dog; sadly in with Cloud9 for this afternoon 6/6/2024. Sadly when I got up my dog had a medical emergency. Ellie a member of the staff did all she could to get a vet early for me, but It wasn't possible. She handled the situation so calmly and caring throughout.

I had to take my dog to the vet where sadly she was put to sleep. I rang Ellie and explained what happened, she was amazing so kind and sympathetic, made me feel better, I cant thank her enough. A big hug from me to you, your the best.

Letting go in peace

I wanted to say a huge thank you to Frances who was the Vet that came to us when we made the very difficult decision to put our lovely golden retriever, Buddy, down because at 13.5, his back legs were failing. We weren't rushed at all and had plenty of time with her. She answered our questions and engaged with Buddy before she took things to the next stage. She was very sensitive allowing us time with Buddy as well after he had been put to sleep. She also liaised with the lady from Companions Haven who took Buddy away later. We are so glad that we went with Cloud9 because they took charge of everything. I was glad that they had communicated with Companions Haven as well. It made a very difficult decision and sad parting slightly easier as they had thought of everything. We were able to let go in peace.

Roxy

The day we had been dreading had arrived and we had to make the hardest decision to end our beautiful dog Roxy’s suffering after being diagnosed with a large tumour. Roxy hated the vets and the thought of her feeling distressed before her passing was tearing us apart.

Cloud 9 Vets were amazing from the start, everything was explained and a date and time was arranged for the vet to come out to us.

John our vet was fantastic, he was warm, friendly and compassionate. Roxy who was very weak and normally stayed on her cushion, got up and went to greet him when he walked in. John explained the whole process and what to expect throughout the procedure, he explained what he was doing and how she would fall into a deep sleep through sedation before the final step.

Our beautiful girl passed away stress-free, calm, relaxed and peaceful on her cushion at home with us all saying our final goodbyes.

Thank you for the card we received, I can't thank Cloud 9 Vets enough and would highly recommend 🐶 🐾 🌈 🐾
