My lovely sweet 12 year old tabby Coco declined very suddenly and rapidly from an under-investigation illness (suspected tumour) last week. We were told she may or may not pick up. At 4pm on Thursday she suddenly declined again, and I regrettably knew it was time to act. We debated seeking critical care or not, and ultimately decided not to put her through more stress for a tiny chance. Several vets and other services said they could not make it out that day, leaving us agonising over whether to make the journey to a vet and not having her home, but Cloud 9 Vets was able to send Sam out to us at very short notice, having contacted them at 6pm. Sam was so empathetic, calming and reassuring. He comforted us that this was the right decision, and was very knowledgeable, while not pushing us away from a last-minute referral if we wanted that. Coco passed away peacefully on my bed, covered in love, just after 8pm. I don't know what we'd have done without Sam and Cloud 9 Vets help.
We cannot Thank Cloud 9 vets enough for their care in an extremely anxious and difficult time having to make the decision to let our beautiful rescue dog Junior pass over the Rainbow Bridge.
We wanted the best for Junior after not having the care he should have for the first 8 years of his life which caused so many issues for him, in the end we could not fix them all. We only had him in our care for three years, but he was loved as much as if we had him all his life.
From the start of the first call to arrange a vet visit to the end when our Junior went so peacefully it could not have been dealt with any better.
The vet Sally arrived on time and was just as caring with myself and my husband as she was with Junior, taking the time to speak to Junior and even got down on the floor next to him on his bed on the sofa.
After many treats Sally administered the sedation which let Junior go into a deep sleep and then ever so carefully administered the last injection, Junior knew nothing and slipped away so peacefully.
There was no rush, the Cremation van was already outside and after some time with Junior we placed him in the dog bed provided with his blankie and said our last goodbye.
Sally we will be forever grateful for your care and compassion, you were our Angel that day
We will forever be grateful for the staff at Cloud 9 Vets, from Jennifer who took our call to John who came to the house. The team at Holywell Pet crematorium looked after Laila like she was their own. Each and every person was caring and compassionate, treating Laila with the respect she deserved. We can't thank you enough.
At one of the most heartbreaking times of your life, the vet made it that bit better by being so lovely and compassionate and really explained step by step the procedure for our 15 year old dog, Honey. Coming to the home to PTS really made it that much nicer for Honey and the family. I couldn’t have asked for a better way for her to go. The only thing I would recommend they look at is the cancellation policy where you would still be charged if your animal passes away before the procedure as that is out of our control. But apart from that I really could not fault them and I thank them tremendously for how brilliant they are in these situations.
There’s never an easy way to say goodbye to a pet but the care and attention from Cloud9vets made this hardest of decisions ‘easier’
I was dreading taking my Labrador to the vets and coming away without him and after reading reviews we decided to use Cloud9 and we are so relieved we did. From the initial phone call to the day we had our boys ashes back they offered nothing but care and thoughtfulness.
The vet arrived on time and not only spoke to us in a thoughtful manner he explained everything. Filipe was exceptional. He waited for us to make the decision and my boy went to sleep in my arms. Within 30 minutes Pheonix Pet services came and took Barney away. Pheonix offered us ink paw prints and a clay cast of his paws. We were then offered what type of casket we would like and various engravings.
I was dreading this day but without the care, understanding from Cloud9vets and Pheonix Pet Cremations we would have struggled but as it turned out it was a difficult evening but at the same time it was a special moment.
I simply can’t thank both services enough.
Thank you .
Ian
We were recommended this and 2 other sites as our dogs vet was unable to attend today. Our old girl Beauty- an 11 yr old German Shepherd had to be put down. The vet Andrea i think ( a lovely male veterinarian) attended. He was calm, caring, explained everything, patient and spoke lovely to us throughout. He made sure she was as comfortable as possible and released her out of all pain. He offered condolences and provided such care for her. Then she was collected by a man called Paul..he was also so kind to us offering his apologies too. He offered options on what she would to be carried out on. He helped carry her onto the stretcher and gave such dignity to an old girl..we were allowed to put her blanket on her, her toys and he covered her face for dignity. We were allowed to say our goodbyes again when she was in the van. Utter respect and understanding for the loss. We then received a phone call to let us know she was received and where she would be overnight etc. Thank you all of you involved for making an awful day bearable. We couldn't recommend enough. The Livingstone family.
I can’t express how much Cloud 9 Vets helped to make one of the worst moments of our family’s life so peaceful and beautiful. Our beloved labradoodle Dougal was diagnosed with terminal cancer and we were distraught making this decision, but the Cloud 9 team showed so much compassion and care throughout. We will be forever grateful to Sally our vet, who in his last moments showed him so much kindness and affection. It was peaceful, calm and he passed surrounded by love.
We called Cloud 9 Vets after our beloved family dog took ill at home. They were amazing, completely sympathetic to our situation and explained everything clearly and with compassion.
We opted for an on the day euthanasia at home and the minute we met Kim we knew it was the right decision. Kim's compassion and care for our dog - Chancer - was second to none, it was as if she had known him forever. Talking us through each step whilst giving us final time to say our goodbyes and be with him. Kim really was a blessing at this sad time and her love for animals radiated throughout the time she spent with us.
Cloud 9 Vets also arranged for cremation of our dog and kept us informed at every step. Nothing was a problem or hassle.
They made a really emotional time easier and without them I am not sure the peace and comfort we have felt from Chancer's final moments would have been the same.
Our sassy girl cookie had developed a growth in her throat. A biopsy and an operation were too dangerous due to the position. Our normal vets suggested that cookie should go to sleep as we didnt know how it would deceloped . As a family we decided with pain relief we would like to give cookie those extra cuddles and continue to treat her as the princess she was for her last days. When
Cookie began to become weak and knowing we could not see her suffer we found Cloud 9 . We were unaware we could do this at home in cookies safe space so we made the call . Simone came to us on the day ,explained everything to us again and told us it would be done in a way that was best for cookie, throughout the time she was in our home Simone showed such care and understanding to both ourselves and cookie , she shared stories with us and listened to ours. She showed complete underatanding and patience of the decisions weve had to make. We cannot thank SImone enough for how much more peaceful and personal she made the whole experience. She made a very heartbreaking day a little easier for us all and cookie crossed that rainbow bridge at home and comfy .... She really was treated perfectly x
Was so glad to have found this service for my little old lady Jess. It was a Sunday too and we weren’t made to wait. Everyone I spoke to was so kind. David the vet came to the house, explained what was going to happen. He acknowledged my other cats and said how I should let them see Jess after she had gone. He was so kind and talked to her all the way through. It was a tough thing to have to do but it was best for her and everyone made it easier for us. David took her to the cremation place in Winchester. I picked her up last week. The lady there was lovely too. Thank you for your cards in the post too.
Fly high over the kitty rainbow bridge my messy Jessie 🌈 🐈⬛ 💔
Sally was absolutely amazing and made a really difficult situation a wonderful peaceful experience with our beautiful boy. Can’t thank you enough 🙏🏻
Fantastic service . So kind and caring could not fault from the 1st phone call went above and beyond x vet that came to the house was lovely and explained everything x passing was so peaceful and couldn’t fault nothing x
Amazing service and staff at such a horrible time. Alex came to our house explained everything fully answered questions we had and gave us the time we needed. He is a credit to your company. Lee came from the crematorium and he again gave us the time we needed said he would put Beau in the pet bed if we wanted him too and he said we could put anything we wanted with him. We chose to do this ourselves and he gave us space and went back to the van until we were ready. We put Beau gently in the bed wrapped him in one of his blankets and put in a toy for him to play with..we said our final goodbyes and then we carried him out to the van.
Everyone we had contact with was great and we know Beau would be looked after. My Fur Baby is now out of pain and discomfort and that is a comfort to us as a family.
Thank you all.
Doodles was 16 and since being traumatised during the move to our new home 8 years ago, had become a house cat. We didnt mind as she just loved us, being with us and we loved her in equal amounts. She'd started losing weight and not eating much and we knew that the end was somewhere in the not too distant future. This caused us so much anxiety as we feared she'd pass on route to the vets and we didn't want this ending for her or us. Well our hand was forced sooner than we'd have liked and we needed to try to get a home visit to help her pass. I came across Cloud 9 Vets and gave them a call. Jennifer was so compassionate whilst being totally professional. Hannah came later that day and helped Doodles to pass peacefully gently and took things at our pace. I will be eternally grateful for the compassion that was shown to us and Doodles. R.I.P our gentle soul!
Nacho arrived on time, explained everything with us, with a sympathetic approach. He gave us plenty of time to say goodbye to our precious dog. very caring and professional, our beloved Kasper drifted away so peacefully, until we all meet again.
I am so grateful to Cloud 9 Vets, We new the time had come for our beloved Dog Zippy who was 16, from the first phone call to when Hannah turned up she was so compasionate and spent time with Zippy and explained the process, he never felt a thing and driffted away, i am so glad i had the home visit as he would have been really stressed if i had taken him to a Vet Surgery
Cloud9 we're fantastic start to finish. Our vet Kim was just amazing. What a lovely, kind, compassionate person. Made a difficult time a peaceful, calm experience even with our other two wee dogs there! Also, the guys from the crematorium were so kind and compassionate too. Thank you once again to you all.
I cannot express just how amazing this service is! Jennifer who arranged everything over the phone for me was so kind and compassionate
Susie came to our house to help our precious girl Chyna cross the Rainbow bridge. I was so overwhelmed when sje arrived that i could hardly speak but within minutes of being in her company she had calmed me right down. She asked about Chynas life and we spoke about all her adventures and how she loved to swim and i showed her a picture of her as a puppy. Chyna passed away peacefully in my arms. Thankyou Susie we were so blessed to have you here with us helping our girl and we are so grateful for your kindness and the love and respect you showed her.
Also want to thank the two ladies from the Crem who again handled everything with the greatest respect and compassion.
It was such a difficult day made easier with the help and support of cloud 9
Thankyou so much
Cannot thank cloud9 vets enough i phoned this morning as i knew our big dog mollie time was up after 12 years . Kim came out and made us calm waited with us till the end kim is amazing thankyou and as for crematorium guys omg amazing also thankyou again so much from all our family
Charis came to our home last Monday at short notice and was so compassionate. She helped our labrador cross Tess off to sleep so peacefully and painlessly. Cloud 9 had organised i Care Pet Crem to attend at the correct time who also provided a great service. Thank you all.
I just wanted to say thank you to the young vet that came out to our boy Scooby yesterday. She was super respectful and let us have as long as we needed to say goodbye. She was really gentle with Scooby and was genuinely sad with us without being at all intrusive. I would definitely highly recommend this service.
We made the most difficult decision to put Mango to sleep after a very difficult month where we could not contain her distress and discomfort despite strong medication. She was an older mixed breed rescue dog we brought from Hong Kong, and had made many transitions with us from living outside a construction yard, to a rescue centre to a home. Cloud 9 Vet, Dr Yuen who had grown up in HK, was balm to our sore souls this Weds. She spoke gently and with compassion, took the time we all needed to prepare and held a space for us to share stores of mangos remarkable life. Little things were so appreciated: not rushing, making sure Mango was completely sedated before final injection, trimming some fur for us, removing cannulas and tiny blood drops so Mango looked perfectly peaceful in her bed when she was collected The way she moved, spoke and contained the space was so honouring of Mango and the relationship we all had with her. It's my first time to have to put a pet to sleep, and have my son's experience this too and Cloud9 was a Cloud9 experience for us at hardest possible time. Thank you to the call handlers, vet, crematorium professions for all their care you helped us make an ending humane and connecting.
Benji’s passing was handled with dignity and great care by vet Sally and being at home meant he was calm & well cared for. It did not go completely smoothly as additional sedative was required. Also vet Sally could sense Benji just wanted us two there for him. She hid behind furniture so he was relaxed. She also swaddled his body in a large sheet and helped us put him into a box for our home burial. She stayed for an hour & a half to help us in every way we needed. Thank goodness for Cloud 9, a vet practice would have been horrendous for Benji, they wouldn’t have had the time.
Like most people and their pets, William, our Persian Chinchilla cat, was the love of our lives. For nearly 15 years, he provided joy and affection. Cancer's death sentence meant that Kathryn and I had to say goodbye. Fortunately, the kind vets at Rosemary Lodge recommended Cloud 9. From the initial conversation, it was apparent that Cloud 9 are caring, knowledgeable professionals. David, the vet who provided William's euthanasia, could not have been more gentle. He read the room. David informed us about every step of the process. I felt he felt our pain. When the procedure was done and William left us to join his feline ancestors, we, of course, were devastated. But the service provided by Cloud 9 was a welcomed relief. I highly recommend them,.
Telephoned on Thursday, made an appointment for the Friday after our elderly dog took a turn for the worse. The ladies on the phone were compassionate & talked me through everything even though I was in a bit of a state. Sonya came on time on the Friday afternoon. Lovely nature, very calm & reassuring, taking things slow & not rushing us. Jess went to sleep peacefully on her bed eating popcorn then she was collected & taken away for individual cremation. Doing this is never easy but this company take some of the pain away. It’s not cheap but definitely worth every penny for not having to take Jess to a vets surgery ( her most hated place) She just went to sleep, no stress no pain
Ane came today to put our beloved George to sleep. She was absolutely amazing with such care and compassion. George passed so peacefully. Although we are all absolutely devastated, Cloud 9 were amazing. Neil collected George with love and dignity and took him to the crematorium. Thank you for trreating George with such love ❤️
sincere thanks to everyone at Cloud 9, the service and compassion was unbelievable at this very sad time, if there was more stars they would have all been filled, my best mate went so peacefully and in is own home, Thank you Lee & Kate
Thank you so very much to Zoi from Cloud 9 (Falkirk area) for making our last special moments with Shorty so peacful before he went to sleep in his own bed surrounded by his own family. I couldn't ask for a more special goodbye for us all. Zoi was the loveliest vet I have ever met and made such a distressing experience that little bit easier, for that I will always be thankful to Cloud 9 . I have taken comfort in this every day since.
Last Saturday 8.3.25 we had to make the painful decision to put our beautiful nearly 11 old Hungarian vizsla Bella to sleep. David the vet was so kind professional and compassionate. It was dignified and so pleased she was in her own home on her favourite beanbag and blanket in the sunshine. It was calm and peaceful and just what we wanted for our gorgeous girl to leave this world. Thank you David and all at Cloud 9 vets
Vet called Samuel came to put my Husky Nym to sleep what an amazing vet very thoughtful and compassionate vet he was thank you and to all at cloud9
