Sadly we had our dog Laska put to sleep recently.
I cannot praise Cloud 9 Vets and Phoenix Pet Cremation highly enough.
The vet Josie was amazing. She was so kind and caring. Everyone involved from the first phone call was supportive and understanding. We were so pleased that Laska was able to stay in the comfort of her own home. The whole thing was pain free stress free and so peaceful. It was sad but very beautiful.
The professionalism and empathy has helped us so much through the grieving process.

Julieta came to us on Thursday to assist with our poorly boy Frankie who sadly had kidney failure. We didn’t want to risk losing him at the vets putting him through more unnecessary suffering as he was 15 years old and no longer could eat or stand up. Julieta was so nice and reassuring and she gave us much more information than our current vet did. He passed away very peacefully in his bed in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family 💙. Julieta explained the whole process to us very accurately and we are very grateful she came to help us through this difficult time.

The kindest and most gentle vet arrived. He sat with us in our front room and talked calmly to us and our dog creating the calm atmosphere you need at these times. Our dog settled very quickly and stood by the vet leaning into his body, a sign of affection. Our dog settled on the sofa and lay with us all around him getting strokes and kisses from us all. The vet gave him a strong sedative, and he went into a deep sleep with relaxed deep breaths. We continued to talk to and stroke our dog while he rested. After a while and only when we were all ready, the vet gave our dog his final meds. His heart stopped after a few beats. He left this world as he lived in it. Surrounded by love and loved ones. We then created our own burial and farewell ceremony in our garden and were left heartbroken but knowing that we had given our dog the best send off and nothing less than he deserved. This was made possible by having him euthanised at home.

Having such a patient vet meant that we could take each step as we were ready and when our dog felt relaxed and safe.

The vet read our dogs notes before arriving and discussed his condition and our decision with us while he was with us. The vet gave our decision his full support. This really helped us feel more secure about a very difficult decision that we had made out of love for our dog. If love could have kept him alive, he would have lived forever.

A wonderful service delivered with true compassion, understanding and heart.

From the initial phone call enquiring about cloud 9 services to the vet who came and put our beloved old boy diesel to sleep our experience was met with compassion understanding and reassurance. We were given all the time we needed with diesel before his sedative and the vet was so gentle with him talking us through every stage. So much more personal than at the vets where you feel hurried and clinical. Is it more expensive? Yes but you deffo get your moneys worth and feeling of slightly more peace and able to deal with the overwhelming grief the loss of a much loved pet brings. Hopefully i dont need their services for a long time again but i wouldnt hesitate to use or recommend

I don’t usually do reviews but I felt I needed to do this for the sake of others who find themselves with a difficult decision to make. From my initial phone call to the aftercare for my lovely dog, I cannot recommend Cloud9 enough. The vet, Filipe was such a kind and caring person, he explained everything and was so compassionate. We decided that we wanted a cremation and Hollie arrived shortly after Filipe left, and again she couldn’t have been more caring. We felt comforted that someone so lovely was taking our beloved boy and then she returned his ashes within a couple of days so he was home with us. Teddy had the best passing we could have wished for him. We would like to thank you all and are so very grateful. Thankyou, you are special people.

We have used this service 3 times now and I could not praise Susie enough for what she's done. We have specifically requested for her to come to us as she was so calming and caring. We recently made the most heartbreaking decision to allow our wee cat who had stage 3 renal failure to go to the bridge. Once we had made the decision and contacted Cloud 9 Vets we received nothing but support, compassion and guidance.
We were given a time to expect the vet (the most compassionate Kim), and we sat watching the clock and dreading the time coming around. Mr was in his usual spot on a knee curled up in his wee personal ball and we just waited for Kim to arrive. Right on time (sadly for us) Kim arrived.
From the second Kim came into our home she immediately came across as a very kind, genuine and animal loving person and we were immediately at ease with her. Kim took time to acknowledge Mr and pet him and asked us about him and his life with us.
At no point did we feel rushed to say the most tearful goodbye to our wee man. Kim listened to our stories of Stan and asked questions about his life and it was lovely recounting all of the things that he had managed to get up to in his 18 years.
Kim talked us through every stage of the process and what to expect and Kim allowed us to say when we were ready to let him go.
We can't thank Cloud 9 vets enough for the most compassionate way that we were allowed to say goodbye to our wee beastie and the after care provided by iCare Pet Crem team. Each and everyone of you made letting go of our most loved little man bearable. It's difficult to know the right words to say for this - it hurt like hell and will do for a long long time BUT being 'allowed' to let a loved one go in such a dignified way is something we will take to our grave. Thank you so much Kim and Cloud 9 Vets. If I need to come back once I go..............I will be searching you out for a job!

It's taken me a while to be able to write this review, but I wanted to thank the team at Cloud9, and Charis in particular, for helping our cat Hank pass peacefully at home in March.

After he had already had to spend a week in hospital, we were able to have a few last days with him at home so we didn't want to have to upset him with another car ride. I made a same day appointment at 7am when I realised that it was time, and the agent on the phone was very compassionate and gentle. Charis arrived later in the day, and was so lovely from the moment she came in.

She gave us space during the procedure and was very respectful, to both us and Hank. I can't thank her enough for her kindness and in giving us a peaceful moment with him when it was time for him to go. She stayed afterwards to let us talk about him and couldn't have been kinder. We so appreciated the follow up card.

We cannot express our thanks enough for the service we were provided. We had to say goodbye to our Springador Milo, and we wanted him to be at home in his own surroundings.

Kim came to us on a Sunday to assit us with our Labrador Luna. We didn't want to take her to the vets as she would get very distressed. This was the perfect solution. Luan passed away peacefully and stress free in her own bed in her home. Kim was wonderful.

Caring and compassionate. We made the heartbreaking decision of saying goodbye to our beloved Bruno who reached the age of Sixteen was in alot of discomfort. The decision to put our dog Ollie to rest was not an easy one, we rescued Ollie at age 3 and he has been a huge part of our family life for 12 wonderful years.
Cloud 9 was something we didnt know about but the fact that Ollie could be put to rest at home surrounded by his family was just the best way to say goodbye. Sally our vet was just so lovely, so respectful, she talked us through everything with compassion, explained the whole process and made us all feel at ease with the situation. What was the most awful thing somehow seemed peaceful and right. We all had time to say our final goodbyes, no rush, no stress. It truly was the best way we could of ssid Goobye, so Thank you so much for making a very sad day a lot less stressful for Ollie and for us as a family.

It was a hard and sudden decision to lay my sweet boy, Silky, to rest. But through friends’ recommendations of Cloud9, I opted to go with them based on a friend’s positive experience. Nonetheless, my own experience was also very positive.

It is with a very heavy heart that I said goodbye to Silky before the cancer took him. The Cloud9 team, from the very first phone call, were lovely, and all of their emails were very kindly worded, making the process slightly easier.

Sonia was our vet, and she was incredibly kind and gentle. When she arrived, she checked on Silky and made sure his health and welfare were okay. Personally, I really appreciated that she allowed him to walk around the home and find a comfortable spot for his sedation to kick in — there was no pressure to keep him confined to one room. Everything she did was very professional, and I found comfort in her recalling memories of her beloved cat of 19 years.

She would even ask if it was okay to enter the room where Silky had chosen to stay, which was very thoughtful. In the end, Silky chose to rest in my bedroom. This is where Sonia made all the final checks to ensure he was fully sedated and, after laying him to rest, checked his heartbeat.

I am so thankful we were able to do this at home. Silky hated the vets, and the sterile environment would have been upsetting for him, as well as for my family and me. This allowed us to say goodbye kindly, in the comfort of our home, where Silky felt safe. Sonia gave us time to say goodbye while he was sedated, allowing us to fully say our final words. I still look at the spot where it all happened with love and sadness.

Thank you, Sonia, and to the Cloud9 team, for providing such a valuable service that allows for intimate and difficult goodbyes to take place comfortably and privately.

To anyone wondering if this is the right choice for them, I would always say yes. I would choose Cloud9 a million times over for a dignified send-off.

I highly recommend this service. I can't express enough how much I valued the care and respect David gave us and our beloved dog yesterday, when we sadly said goodbye to him. We're devastated and David gave us time, with patient and calm confidence, reassuring us that it was the right thing to do. We felt very held by his compassion and experience. He explained everything slowly and clearly and was very gentle.

A fortnight ago our wonderful, much loved labradoodle, Jack, deteriorated rapidly following an incredibly short illness.
He was a very big lad, and in so much discomfort, we were unable to move him from his chosen spot on the rug.
We felt so distraught and worried made worse by the fact we couldn’t find a local vet to come out to him.
In the early hours of the morning, we literally stumbled across Cloud 9 Vets whilst on the internet, and hoped they would be able to help. My husband spoke to Daniella just after 7am and was met with
understanding, kindness and total reassurance that she would be able to arrange help for Jack.
The day progressed and although awful and so upsetting, we couldn’t have asked for better care for Jack and indeed ourselves.
Sonia (the vet) was amazing. Professional, gentle and so respectful of Jack and our obvious grief. She carried out the euthanasia with compassion and great care, having first clearly explained the procedure and what we might expect.
Lisa from Phoenix Pet Cremations, who collected Jack was quiet and understanding and again attended to Jack with so much care and tenderness. She took time to explain the cremation process, before taking our big lad away. Jacks ashes were returned promptly - within the week with a wonderful note of sympathy, which was very much appreciated .
Losing Jack was heartbreaking and we are still grieving, but it was absolutely the right decision to do what we did and both Cloud 9 Vets / Phoenix have to be praised for their fantastic care throughout.

We contacted cloud9 when our poor girl, Narla, became end of life and we didnt want to take her to a vets practice to be put to sleep. From the initial phone call they made that conversation so much more comfortable with their compassion and empathy. We had the pleasure of Laura coming to our house to support us and to support Narla to go to sleep. Laura gave the upmost respect, dignity & compassion during the whole visit. The last 3 days caring for Narla whilst she was at the end of her life was hard but she peacefully slipped away and there is nothing more we could of asked for from Laura. My family and I would just like to extend our deepest gratitude and thanks to the entire team at Cloud 9.

We sadly had to put our 15 year old cairn terrier Peppa to sleep in December last year and she was taken care of by a fantastic vet named Charis.

Unfortunately and very suddenly last Friday we were told that our other dog, Peppas daughter Poppy, was suffering from a highly aggressive oral cancer which was already beyond treatment.

We were able to spend one final weekend with our girl that was full of love, cuddles and treats. We didn't hesitate to contact Cloud 9 after receiving such wonderful service previously.

We were instantly at ease when we were told that it would be Charis who would be putting our girl to sleep. It was a shock seeing her twice in the space of just 3 months. She pampered Poppy with cuddles and treats. Treated her with such dignity, compassion and care. She passed away in our arms in her favourite place (our bed) surrounded by all of her family who loved her most.

Thank you Charis and the rest of the team. I sincerely hope if we ever meet again that it is under better circumstances.
